    This was the year I happened to get really into basketball & the Clippers specifically. I vividly remember watching this series and was actually looking back on it a couple days ago with fond memory. Thanks for this video. This series turned me into a basketball fan for life.

    Man Chris Paul is such a legend....
    It's such a shame he doesn't have a ring because he has some great playoff moments. It's just never really come together for him.
    His game 7 in this series was epic. Privilege to watch.

      the clippers averaged 20 attempts from 3 this series.
      the spurs averaged 26 attempts
      in the 2024 regular season, the FEWEST attempts is 30 per game
      the most is 51 per game
      and the average for the league right now is 36 attempts per game
      definitely a different time

    So memorable & nostalgic for so many reasons. I was a clippers fan heavy but my family ordered the ‘Floyd v Manny’ fight i remember sneaking off to watch this game in my room while everyone was in the living room watching the fight. Legendary day.

      I think that series was better than this one actually, several OT games, Gordon and Allen going at it, Rose vs Rondo, big baby and Truth hitting clutch shots for the Cs, Gordon matching them. All around one of the greatest series I’ve ever seen

    Duncan put up impressive numbers in this series despite his age… Kawhi went MIA in this series and no other player stepped up to the plate.. CP3 went bananas in that game 7 ✔️

    as a diehard Clippers fan from far country (Philippines to be exact) and just watching in TV every game this series is the best Clipper series I've watched next to the Clips vs Jazz series that Clippers finally stepped in WCF stage

    Living in San Antonio now, originally from Florida. These people are crazy about these Spurs they still talk about them referring to this squad. Tony Parker, Kawhi, Danny Green. And they ABSOLUTELY GO NUTS about Duncan and Ginobli 😂😂😂😂 honestly about 5-6 Manu Paintings on the side of buildings and a couple restaurants.

    This was total cinema. The defending champion Spurs who were finally healthy for once that year, going up against the best of those Lob City Clipper teams. It did not disappoint one bit.

    Sick edit, that was an awesome series, its always crazy to me when series come down to one possession almost every game. I see Hack a Jordan in full effect dude is missing in key moments lol. If he only took the damn time to learn to shoot free throws his presence in key moments could have swung games their way and possibly could have won a title with that squad barring injuries. Crawford, Reddick, Barnes, Jordan, Blake, CP3, Rivers, Davis is a pretty solid rotation. And of course CP3 always injured lol

    It’s insane how the clippers really should have 3 championships right now (this year, 2020 bubble, and 2021) but wasted it all away with blown 3-1 leads or Kawhi getting hurt in 2021. I think this one or 2021 was there best chance.

      Yeah but you knew they weren't gonna win the title that year. Championship teams don't lose the last game of the regular season when winning meant getting #2 seed and losing meant getting #6 seed. Other than Old Man Riverwalk Duncan himself, I didn't feel like they had the necessary fire to get it done.

    This series is a great example of the bias that was David Stern's NBA. Officiating was so poor it led to so many Clippers comebacks this game. So many touch fouls on the Clippers you can even see them in these highlights. And I bet all these LA fans who probably werent even watching live are gonna come at me in the comments section

    Tim Duncan vs Chris Paul in round one. That's the difference between today's nba and back then nba. No first round matchups in the 80s or 90s was even watchable. Fast forward a few decades later you have a finals worthy matchup in the first round.
