Who thinks the SRX will be there next year
Needs to happen if they wanna be relevant and an actual thing not just a show
Me
Thats what i was thinking
@@paulwilliams9979 more likely gonna happen
Oh for sure they will be there next year.
Wow we'll be see this kid racing with the big boys in NASCAR soon! Just awesome! Congratulations! 💙🏁
Never been there but it’s nice to see how many fans came to watch the races.
Kid is a wheelman already, 5 wins on the season.
NASCAR teams better take note of this guy. He could be a future star.
Wait 5 modified wins damn that kid definitely has a bright future
100 percent lol thats crazy
And rich parents!
@justalldamnmotorsports2419
Doesn't every driver though?
@@Tim31NJ not all.
So good to see an old race track opening back up instead of being shut down forever like so many others
My nephew David Carter Jr won at the age 13 against grown men at 13 it was absolutely amazing and the crowded loved it
PHENOMENAL!!! PRICELESS!!! CONGRATULATIONS 🏁🏆🏁 SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND SO HAPPY AND EXCITED FOR RACING 🏁 RETURNING TO NORTH WILKESBORO!!! NORTH WILKESBORO IS EPIC 🏁🏆🏁 LOVE THAT TRACK AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE SOME DIRT TRACK RACING THERE!!!🏁🤗💞🙏🙏
That kid has a great family. His father has a glorious mullet too. Well done sir
congregations congregations Paulie amazing job
thats bad ass!! go kid .... some people are just born to be certain things...
This is great news! Bring er back!
Congratulations to Paulie. You definitely have the skills to be a professional race car driver. I would put money on it that in a few years, we will be seeing you in the craftsman truck series. Keep it up, and before you know it you will make it to the cup series. Impressive driving.
Pops with that sweet chili bowl mullet. Rad
Great to see him come back this year
That's freaking awesome! Especially running a modified!
That's incredible. Love to see how he got to that point. It's making me jealous and I'm nearly 15. 😂
Don't feel bad his parents probably spending lots of money to get him this far so fast. If he was my kid he wouldn't be in a modified. Lets hope the 11 y/o don't let it all go to his head, with success so early in his young life.
I used to race against him lol but I quit racing haha
an 11 year old kid is out winning car races while 16 year olds have a hard time driving normally??? Holy cow
The surface of the track is rough and many lanes can be used to pass.
I used to race against him lol
about time this track re-opened. That speedway was an icon in the area.
Good for him thats so cool
That is awesome!
He'll be a star soon
Define star? Someone who actually contributes to society like military, police, medical workers and so on does more than this kid who drives in circles on mommy and daddys money!
Congratulations to the little guy that's impressive plus more impressive is his parents hats off to them
Kool Kid His Dad Was one cool dude When they bought the the Kid race Kart off me about 8 or 9 Years ago!
He races at my local track all the time
How good of driver is he? I'm absolutely curious cause I'm from the western side of the country and did not hear about North Wilkesboro's revival event.
i raced with this kid at SJQMA is a quater midget and one race. bro put me in the wall damn near gave me a concussion
I sold his dad a Kid Kart so he could race it Many years ago! I ran Legends @ Wall
@@chevyracer5091 nice
It's all those video games
The 2022 mullet tho .. haha hell yeah
Incredible!
You the man, oh wait I'm sorry, you the kid. LoL. I'm so happy for your success.
Now we need North Wilkesboro back to the NACSR schedule again.
AWESOME!!!
Also, it's gonna be great to see north wilksboro being dirt
You bet ! start them early, I started late and missed a whole bunch of fun.
Awesome
Bet JRM will be looking at that kid.
I love how happy you all are, but what would you be saying if he got wrecked or crashed out and seriously hurt. The kid I hope will have a long, happy, successful career. But an 11yr old should be in a modified. To many parents want to push their kids up the line way to fast. I know he probably dominated in the lower classes and was bored. Obviously he is a very talented and capable kid. But is just a kid, and racing at this level is not only physically dangerous for a young kid, but also mentally dangerous.. I wish him all the success he deserves, I just think his parents really need to step back and think about their child now, and now what he is going to be in years to come.
Shut up, Karen. Most successful drivers today, started driving at age 5-6.
Wow
Jr. Needs to sign that 11 yr. Old
Gonna watch a race there later in Aug, no way I'd get beat by an 11yr old lol
Wow, great, great, amazing🤪
he's so light...that matters,lol
And there’s a certain weight the car has to meet with the driver. Lead can be and is added to the frame to compensate for his lack of size.
The car still has to make minimum weight on the scales, with the driver in it.
@@the805outlaw Yea that’s literally what every race team on the planet does goof. You build the car excessively under weight and then add plates where you want them/need them until the car makes weight.
@@the805outlaw No, there is is a certain percentage of weight you have to meet. You can only have so much left side weight.
Let's face it...the kid is good regardless of any weight bias advantage you might think he has. He wouldn't be running up front and winning against adults if he wasn't. Mark Martin was a small kid when he started.
Next nascar cup series driver right here
Paulie's future is so bright he needs sunglasses.
That’s kind of young….
your kind of old.....
11???
Wait till the S’ hits the fan.

How in the hell is an 11 year old allowed to drive an 800 hp car when he's not old enough to get a driver's license? Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking the kids passion for racing but how exactly does that work?
Mostly started at 6 years old. It is thr best way to start the experience enough to get him in NASCAR Cup Series for a big win. We have 8 years old driver at my local racetrack. Pretty much they drive better than reglaur traffic drivers.
Oh yes
Way2 go ty Gibbs. Ty Gibbs wins n Wilkesboro. Glad2 see rich granddad joe Gibbs in victory lane
Did the announcer say they are removing the asphalt & restoring it back to the original dirt track it once was for October racing or did she misinterpret it & they maybe just are putting dirt down on the track like what Bristol Motor Speedway does.
Yeah they’re pulling the up the asphalt
They are removing the asphalt down to the original dirt track racing on it and then they will repave it with new asphalt
Uhh, it's going to be REPAVED after the dirt races. Why did you leave that out??
mom and dad must be like 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Great track for competitive racing, but keep the PAVEMENT! Making it back into a dirt track will not allow as many racing series to run on it!
It will be repaved after October's dirt events
Leave it dirt that way
Leave it dirt that way nascar won’t half to mess with Bristol
@@susanmcgalliard7885 they only do that to Bristol because of the seating capacity.
I USED TO RACE AGAINST HIM BUT I QUIT NO WAY
I thought that they were going to dig up the old asphalt and re-pave the track? Is it really going to be a dirt track?
This is to young to have them in a race car or any car
Shut up Karen. Kid has a bigger set of balls than you.
Really a great track but hate to see the pavement removed turning it into a dirt track. It's too good to go dirt.
North Wilkesboro won't be open for long if the kid gets hurt or worse!
shup up karen, jesus....his parents sign waivers dumb ass
Most of these cars are actually safe than most roadcars
I know him
Nascar Modifieds would beat NASCAR CUP CARS
Glad to see the kid involved in racing, keeps with the family and not brainwashed by tv or dems that he might be a girl.
Imagine if he fails his road test when he turns 16.
How can a 11 year old get a license to drive a race car? Unless it’s all about how much money you got.
He has experience. You start small, show competence, move up.
@@arwyss it hasn’t been like that in a LONG time. Being a good driver don’t mean nothing more more in this sport it’s all about the money and nothing else. I forgot what driver it was in the cup series but a few weeks ago one of the drivers couldn’t compete no more cause they ran out of sponsorship money.
@@lordfarquad444 that’s literally how it’s always been. Expensive sport and running out of money/sponsors has always been an issue. Mark Martin literally had to leave the sport because his sponsor screwed him. This isn’t new.
Because it’s private property and it’s not that expensive to run a car on small tracks.
@@stetsonjones6871 it’s a damn shame just imagine how different the sport would be if it was about skill!
HELL YEAH GLORY TO PRE TEENS
👍👍✌️🇨🇦👍✌️🇨🇦👍
Dirt track? EEEYYYYAAAAHHHH!!!!!!
Minecraft NASCAR gfa5 gfa6
If you aren’t old enough to drive on the highway, you shouldn’t be driving on a racetrack.
I think you should at least be a teenager. 11 years old is just getting a little extreme.
no 11 yr old should be in those type of cars period.
Bros just mad an 11 year old is a better driver than him
@@Slingindirt_09 he started racing at 5 in qtr midgets and has won multiple championships won the 4cyl championship at 10 at my local track kid is something else wont be long before someone picks him up
@@Slingindirt_09 ikr lmfao
Watch his reaction when he finds out most racing drivers start racing at the age of 5
Ok hitler.
@@Brodozer39 You seem like the braindead type, huh?
While the kid is a great wheelman, 11 is too young to be racing in this type of car. We are allowing younger and younger folks to race high level divisions, and it’s going to result in something tragic sooner or later. 16 should be the cutoff, I’m sorry to say.
Let me guess. You’re mad that an 11 year old races better than you? Or do you not even race? You literally just posted the typical “Karen” comment for racing.
@@truckingaround5264 I am not a racer, but have been a fan of racing for 40 years. I am stating the fact that an 11 year old running a high level division like this is a ticking time bomb for the sport. When a young child like this (and yes, he’s still a child) ends up being seriously injured- or God forbid killed- it will have a devastating negative impact on the sport in general. There’s a reason you have to be 16 to legally drive on the roads, and it should be the same in motorsports. There are classes of racing very suitable for youngsters to race in, but the more we let them run classes like this the more we open the door to the unthinkable.
In terms of your “Karen” comment… well, it’s the typical type of response I’d expect from someone at a permanent preadolescent stage of life. Enjoy the cataclysm of negative publicity motorsports will experience the first time a very young individual is killed in a high level form of racing. You prove the old adage “some people grow up, others just grow older”
@@saragrant9749 this kid has trained for this sport. I can 99% guarantee he started in a Kart at a you age. Any sport can give those same dangers including death. With the exception of bowling respectively. Sports are a matter of chance. Regardless of the nature. Little league baseball is no different. It’s about chance. I don’t like hearing about kid athletes dying from doing what they love. But these kids have a right and willingness to do what they love. I guarantee this kid has better safety equipment than any other kids do.
Ignore the typos. Apparently I need a newer iPad with better autocorrect
@@truckingaround5264 it’s not even worth debating, people will never see the reality. Eventually it will backfire.
Nascar is woke and needs to go broke.
This facility will fail again.
