I've noticed that dropdowns often have an extra option at the top which is blank. Any way to get rid of that?
For it you could check the option 'This input should not be empty' and set a default value on dropdown, and this problem will be solved. I hope it helps you.

That is for everything..in case you don't want to apply any filter,, you have to leave it empty. Makes sense?
