A New Pixel Art Without the Bead Mess! Crayola Wixels Demo and Review

Have you ever tried Pixel Art? Pixel art is an artform derived from the computer. All photos on the computer are made of pixels. Perler beads made pixel art popular to do as an activity. Lots of different 3-D objects can be made by putting beads on a template and then ironing them together. Lego has recently joined the pixel art club by making art with their smallest blocks. Now Crayola is joining the Pixel art trend with the new Wixel sets. These sets contain templates for pixel art with markers and a "wixel" board. These boards could also be used to make any kind of pixel art out there.

those r definitely a lot smaller than they make it seem on the packaging.
But mayb that is a good thing or it WOULD take forever & definitely wear out yor arm?

perler beads are small beads that go on pegs basically and then you iron them.

that took a TON of water to rinse. That seems waaayy too wasteful. I wonder if they can be soaked and THEN just QUICKLY rinsed? Otherwise I think that is a bad idea for an activity
