Damn, I can't wait to visit that country! My family and I (we have 3 kids) are planning a 3-4 months trip in Asia. The only country that we will definitely visit is Japan. Besides that, Thailand stands very high on our list for the other countries we might visit. But we also hesitate with Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan (with Japan, we are looking to visor 4 countries in total). Any suggestion for a family with kids ranging from 8 to 13? BTW Hi from Canada! I'm close to Montreal! Thanks for your nice videos!
That is amazing, you guys picked a great region of the world, with so many awesome options. Thailand has been our favourite country so far. So diverse in things to do, places to see and the “land of 1000 smiles” definitely is true, some of the nicest people we’ve ever met! So we’d definitely put it at the top of the list. Laos was super beautiful, but we went during rainy season, and it didn’t let up the entire time! So we’d recommend making sure not to go there during monsoon season, if you do end up there. Malaysia was another really great place, amazing mix of multiculturalism, diverse landscapes and experiences, and a very modern feel if you want to in KL, but also some very amazing local experiences in the smaller towns. One place we missed that is at the top of our list for next time there, is Borneo, they have really cool ecotourism experiences with the jungles there! 🙌 We are currently in Vietnam, another place we absolutely love. The food is so good and the iconic landmarks are a must see for sure! It’s also currently raining on and off, so our biggest lesson learned is some places are better saved for the high/better weather seasons. Indonesia and Philippines, we’ve yet to go to, but are planning in the near future! So keep an eye out for those videos in the coming months, as well explore them in-depth and be able to offer more of our personal experiences there. However, Indonesia we’ve hear has becoming so popular it gets very crowded in the hotspots these days But from our experience as it stands so far, we’d say Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia, can’t go wrong! Hope that helps and hope you guys have an amazing trip! 🙂🙌 Let us know when you’re planning to go, and can maybe help with some further details. Yeah, Koh Tao was one of our favourite places in Thailand! If you like diving or snorkelling too, it’s probably the best place in the whole country, or one off! 🙂🙌
