Fantastic detailed review. I just purchased a fully loaded used 2021 Titan Pro4X in the Baja Storm color with less than 18,000 miles on the odometer. The powerful throaty sounding V8 engine with nine speed transmission has got balls. Nice rugged looking value packed truck that is sadly under rated by the truck buying public.
Sweet video! Love those trucks, had a 17 pro4x frontier and 19 black out frontier SV? Both awesome. Been eyeing this fullsize now for bit. Like the color. Where is this course at? Looks like fun.
Are you sure about the 0 to 60 times? Or maybe 6.5-7.0 seconds? If so that’s awesome if it’s under 6 seconds👍🏼💪🏼 The reason I ask because of it’s closest competitor the tundra, the 5.7L, get 0 to 60 around 6.5 to7 seconds. But I’ve seen a couple of reviews where the author said that the titan felt much more powerful 0 to 60,& the 1/4 mile compared to the 2 generation Tundra. The Titan is a beautiful looking truck for sure.Awesome review looking forward to watching more reviews👍🏼
I was seeing times between 5.7-6.5 seconds however after driving the truck, it’s definitely closer to the 6.5 second range. Still quick but nowhere near the 6.2 v8 GM trucks or even the F-150 3.5 ecoboost. The new tundras are also likely much quicker but this v8 still felt really strong and smooth. Appreciate the comment!
My titan is a 22 pro4x with enkei forged aluminum wheels, z1 offroad CAI, z1 offroad full exhaust and tuned from my local shop. The best time ive got on 0-60 is 5.4 seconds. Stock i never checked the times but id say it was probably a second slower. My truck is fully loaded except for the moon roof.
I love my 2021 pro 4x got it back in October, mine cost $80,000 though with it being fully loaded and after market lift kit wheels and tires, totally recommend getting one if you don’t mind the gas bill lol!
My 21 was falling apart by the time it had 900 miles, and Nissan couldn’t or wouldn’t even fix the issues. My 04 which I bought new back in 04 was the best truck I had! The 21 would shift hard from 2nd to 1st, not always but often. It was so noticeable that it would feel that someone reseeded the truck. Two different dealerships and 3 visits, I was told that it’s normal. My reply was, if it was normal then it would do it all of the time, not few times a day. Also, about 18 other people has the same issue on Titan forum and same thing, no luck from Nissan. Then, I would turn the truck on and the AC would blow on the feet for about 10 seconds and then stop, and that’s with the AC and AC controllers OFF. Then it developed a lean start, I’m not sure if some of you know what that is, but yeah. Also, it had a exhaust leak by the manifolds to head. Which again Nissan didn’t want to fix.
Excellent and thorough video. I am currently researching a truck purchase a year or more down the road. I currently tow a small camper that weighs 3,000 lbs. Considering both mid-size and full-size trucks. A mid-size can handle our Casita, but we may opt for a full-size truck to give us more capacity for storing camping gear. Also, in the event that we would get a larger camper, we would already have the truck. Also, still debating V6s vs turbo-charged 4s in the mid-sizers and V8s vs turbocharged 6s in the full-sizers. Of course money will play a factor. Hoping that the Titan will be competitive in terms of pricing over the next year or so. BTW, it would be nice to have the tow capacity and payload of the truck. Thanks!
I want to like the Titan so bad (driven one for almost 12yr) but I fail to see why anyone would choose a titan right now. If they would at least fix the console (bring back the console shifter option) and bring back the full rear window they'd see a 10% spike in sales. I've talked to a ton of folks who wanted a titan for driver comfort- the only thing it USED to do better....
i just drove this. Loved it. Best looking truck out there. Its on the list.

Great review. I've always been a fan of the Titan. Great price for a great truck. Thanks buddy
Thanks man it’s a really nice truck!

I love the color of this truck! Good job bro.
When talking about the transmission I think the "perfect" thansmission is in midzise Hondas Pilots Odysseys Ridgelines. So accurate quick and smoth.

Does the inside of the tailgate have a sprayed on liner as well? I couldn’t see it that well.🤔
The tailgate has a liner but it’s not a spray like the bed
Very thorough review! Have you driven a Titan SV King Cab 4x4?
Thank you! Unfortunately this is the only Titan I’ve driven so far
Wasn’t thorough, no mention about quality or clarity or resolution of the backup cam or 360 camera… which is important to buyers!

Frontier vs Titan,Which truck felt quickest?
The Titan definitely feels quicker it’s about a second quicker to 60! 👍🏼

I bought mine for $49,000 loaded to the max you paid $80 you must live in another country cuz they're not that much here
Lol $80k, probably worth $45k now
@@scottmendoza8989 what year?
I got the same truck 2021 I paid 47 for it out the door everything you can get in it
@@scottmendoza8989if the dealer lifted it and put aftermarket wheels on they will mark them up 20k

Isn’t there a reflash nissan is doing at the dealers to fix this issue ???

I see why, it’s the last V8 truck you can buy with no gimmicks and turbo crap!!
Lava is redish orange so it actually makes sense.
Didn’t even show or mention the backup camera 🤷🏽♂️
As a Titan owner, it’s garbage. It has the resolution of an old Nokia flip phone.
@@berlinas2000 🤣 Dam! Maybe that’s why no mention lol… I know Nissan can do better!
@@kenna.9368 Yeah, it’s very unfortunate when the camera in my wife’s Kia looks like 4k IMAX in comparison. But otherwise, it’s a great vehicle.
