I didn't realize this video got this many views... I see people in the comments asking if we still do these repairs, and to be honest we stopped for a while as I had some big contract work with a local compnay, that recently ended, so we will be getting back to repairs again!
Hugh Jeffreys had done it too, but with a terrific soldering unfortunately lol... I wish there was an easier way, this is just too expensive to do for such an old machine
I have a 2015 macbook, the screen only shows up when watching videos, but when turning off the video, the screen flickers and is streaked, can you guide how to fix it?
@@sarwoedi1852 - and for Dosdude's firmware flash (great though it is), you'll need to have a Windows machine for the Firmware software to run. This is for those of us who don't have all the programming gear and a Windows PC. Each to their own.

Do you have (affiliate) links to the "shielded" wire and flux you use for the mod? Also, what Microscope are you using?
I had exact 2011 mbpro and yet the gpu haven't failed at all and i used it very often since 2012 and it's still going string

hahaha no way! for disable GPU from hardware che radeon chip must be removed and needs a lot of jumpers wire!! the people of DOSDUDE doit fine
he removed the resistor, so no more power to the chip, CMIzapper doing the jumpers in cleaner way
