Love this I’m a full time wheelchair user for over a span of 60 years and still getting out 4wheelin jeepin camping and anything outdoors!
I never realized just how long lizzy has been part of the crew. That girl was born a recovery princess.
I’ve been waiting for this! As a full time wheelchair user riding a WCMX Box Wheelchair (like Wheelz uses) I’ve been following Wheelz for a while. This was great to see. And for those wondering, Blaine Davis and the guys at Iron Born Offroad have already fixed Wheelz RZR so he can get back out there.
I’m a full time chair user too,would love to have a wheelchair like that I coulda had lots more fun while I’ve been camping this year full time since April and still havin a blast even in the snow!👍🏾💯

he is! i was lucky enough to grow up riding craig ranch skate park in northern las vegas. wheels was a local. i remember 10-12 years old watching him shred the bowls in his chair. he’d always chat with us kids, just a super cool dude. and those were 15 foot bowls he was shredding!
Lady and Max make me smile every time I see them running and happy. Geez, Lady even smiles!
Good exercise for the dogs. Bit of a miracle they've never managed to get run over though. Only takes one time and no more dog.

On broken cv axles, why don’t you cut the boot remove the axle, clean the grease out of the cup as much as possible and let them drive out? The hub on the wheel keeps the wheel bearing together. No problem there. And the hub into the differential is held in with the c clip? Would help in some scenarios. Still 3 wheel drive and drives me. If you see this, might be helpful one day down the road! Love watching your videos and your thinking process to recover! Always thrillful!Keep up the good work guys!

With all the recoveries you do on the two and four door quads you need to have a rear hitch lift "Like the repo man!" that enables you to tow them out of the sand area. From what I have seen on your recoveries it seems that the front is the most damaged. Then you wouldn't need the trailer out in the dunes. Thoughts??
All the weight of the lift would be more than his trailer. Also the weight of the lift and the weight of the damaged quad etc would hurt his flotation in the sand.
@@fastandfun20043 not to mention the amount of weight from beefing up the frame and ripping out a bunch of stuff to make room for it. Fuel tank might even be in the way. Need a heavy duty truck for that kind of work
Oughta have one of those "flip-over log arch" devices to help load the busted sxs... Maybe made so it's out of the way until needed...?
@@andrewk8636 The reference was only for the idea. This would be something light that fits in the receiver. something like the old school tow trucks. it would swing out of the way when not in use or removed from the rig easily with two people.
I love how Matt makes sure the dogs are ok, even when they are a bit naughty and don't stay. Matt makes sure they have some water, and he lefts their (considerable) weight up and down out of the truck when needed. That can't be easy when Max tries to launch himself off the truck bed. He's a pretty hefty pup. Good job Matt.
4:40 - It is a joy to see Lady back in her element, “herding” Max around. Both dogs look supremely happy!

i grew up riding craig ranch skatepark in north las vegas. wheels used to come around fairly often. i remember being a kid and watching him shred the massive bowls, having a chat with him. such a genuine dude.
Wheelz is the man!!! He's so gnarly, love that dude! Also next time you have an audio malfunction can you narrate over the footage and explain what's happening or any details about the recovery? It would be much better then a guitar stuck on loop.
I bet it was because of copyright issues from all the SXS's from UTV Takeover with there stereos cranked up so everyone else has to listen to them.
Lifting the 2 pups in the back of the Tacoma was the most work of the day. Ha ha! Seems like Wheelz was very lucky and fortunate that you could help him out. Everything else went pretty well.

I've been thinking about a RZR or a CanAm for a while now, but after watching your videos for about a year, I've decided on a fabricated dirt buggy. Wheelz has got to be a great inspiration for a lot of folks out there, especially younger ones.

As someone who lived a very similar life to Wheels I highly recommend he getting his head checked out ASAP. Numerous concussions over the course of a few years WILL lead to neurological/health concerns later on down the road I'm afraid to say. I'm just 42 this month and my doctor's have suspected CTE for a couple years now already but unfortunately you can test for it.. I've gotten little "ticks" and few other things related to head injuries over last several years and it's ONLY progressed more the older I get. I used to race semi-pro ATVS in the late 90's early '00's until breaking my neck in 3 places in '01..My Fox Racing helmet save my life that day and I'm a huge advocate for safety now... Please get checked out bro!!

Matt Wetzel co-owned Skyline Roofing Company, in Hurricane, for 12-years. When he decided to get out of that trade, he sold his interest in the company to his business partner. Matt used the proceeds to buy Winder Towing in 2013. Winder had been started in the 1970's by Harlon Winder. (By the way, it is pronounced “WIN-der” not “WYN-der.”) When Harlon passed away in 1999, ownership of the company stayed in the family. It was 14-years later when Matt bought it, becoming the third owner. Matt noticed that the company kept getting calls for service to extract vehicles which were stuck in locations where his rollbacks could not go. So he began to enlist the XJ that he would gradually build into the Banana. He developed various techniques for recovery by trial and error and his early RUclips videos document this process. Matt has stated that off-road recovery is only about 2% of Winder’s total business, but that it seems to be the aspect most suitable for RUclips. Eric and Trevor were Winder employees long before the videos began and they still handle mostly on-road jobs. But they are increasingly called upon to help with off-road recoveries, with Trevor developing into a very capable camera operator. Matt started shooting his own footage, on his personal iPhone, mostly for documentation. He has stated that he knew nothing about RUclips, or even computers, when he started uploading videos. But, as the RUclips Channel became more popular, he recruited employees and family members to help record the rescues. That team has now expanded to handle the editing, maintain the social media, and operate the merchandise store. He was introduced to the concept of kinetic ropes and became a disciple, eventually having one made to his specifications by Yankum. Matt has loved Corvairs since he was a child. He saw a particular 1961 Lakeside Station Wagon Model 700 in 1997, when he was 21-years-old. Twenty-three years later, he had the opportunity to buy that exact car, so he did. This vehicle is the basis for the MORRvair. Jaymie is Matt's wife, co-owner of the business, and mother of his younger boys. Rudy is Matt's son from a previous marriage. Lizzy Stout is the daughter of Matt's former partner in the roofing business. Jefe is Winder's Operations Manager. Ed was the night watchman in the impound lot at Winder, when Matt bought the business. Ed lived in a shack on premises. Matt and Ed did not know each other before the sale. Matt has "adopted" Ed and has now built an extension onto the shop and turned it into an apartment, where Ed now lives. Paul Sherman runs a welding and fabrication business, called Fab Rats, in Glendale. While he and Matt often collaborate on projects, they are not business partners. Casey is a competitor of Matt's in the towing business, but they often teamed up for difficult recoveries and even vacationed together. Sometime in 2020, Casey mysteriously disappeared from MORR videos on RUclips, including ones which were previously released. The only explanation given was that Casey wanted to preserve his privacy. (Oddly, Casey now has his own RUclips Channel.) Finally, Randy was Matt's principal camera operator for almost two years. He was summarily fired by Jefe early in 2021. No explanation of this personnel action has ever been offered by either party. (Randy now has his own RUclips Channel, as well.) The MORR RUclips Channel has seen explosive growth and, based on the comments, the team members are universally adored and Matt gets the highest praise for his non-judgmental and inclusive treatment of others. In November of 2021, Matt was charged with committing insurance fraud by Utah state investigators. The case involved false billing to AAA and misrepresentation of facts for services performed. Matt appeared before state officials on December 7, 2021. The outcome of those proceedings has not been published.
@@samson3000 I did learn some of this from watching the channel from the start. I did wonder what happened with Randy. He seemed to fit in pretty well & was funny in his own right just like many of the team are in various ways.

As a wheelchair user (T6) of over 29 years, I can only give Wheelz a low kowtow. I have done all kinds of stuff from my chair, but that jumping and spinning bit was quite amazing. Would like to know what level injury he is. Hang gliding and parasailing are looking pretty tame, in comparison. On a side note: Ms. Lizzy is lookin' awful purty!
