Nice bird shots and scenery John!
Thanks, Kenny. It’s amazingly beautiful here.
Great video John! I can’t believe you got the bird in mid song too. So gorgeous!!
Thanks, Barb. Getting those bird shots are just having patience.
Beautiful scenery, fly fishing, and drinking beer with friends. Gotta love it.
Hey Ron thanks all that Just makes life good and just living the dream.
Great drive between Stanley and Salmon thru Challis.Hope to be there this September. Fish on…
Hey Glenn. I was up in salmon last month and got snowed on almost every day. I decided to get out of there and drive south to the bottom of Idaho. I have driven that route down the Salmon River many many times and it’s always beautiful.
Beautiful country! Have fun John, and catch one for me. To hot where i am, not fishing right now. Enjoyed watching. 👍
Hey Jim I love the sawtooth mountains. The fishing is still off with most of the rivers still flooded. There still is a lot of snow in the mountains.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you
You're living' the best life, John.
Thanks man. It’s all about living free and being happy with just simple things and living life to is full potential. Just living the dream.
Greetings. Yes indeed the scenery is absolutly stunning. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you for watching. I am loving the beauty of the sawtooth mountains.
John knows how to take pictures. Nice!
Thank you, J. J
Ahh a Barb and Juno sighting too. What a beautiful spot
Hey Diane. It was a fun relaxing week. Barb had the best views from her teardrop.
Beautiful place!
Yes, it is. I love the sawtooth mountains.
Looks like a awesome place to camp!
One of my favorite campsites, there’s nothing like having a good cup of coffee in the morning and just sit there and enjoy the views of the mountains
Awesome video.
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it
Yep, an absolutely gorgeous place. On my list now. And a cool lady friend. People seem to like you. Hmmm, wonder why. 😃 I had an opportunity to watch this video on a big screen. Even better! Safe travels dear friend. 🤗
Hey Pam, good friends and beautiful scenery. Life is good. I do have some people in the desert that don’t like me, but what are you gonna do? Drive on up and head into Montana and do some exploring. I’m headed into Oregon today.
Well guess what - there are some people that don’t like me, too. Just an aspect of being human, I think. Would love to get to MT. Got some glitches right now but I trust that when the timing is right, I will be there.
@@pambabbitt1894 awesome, but those who do not like us it’s just their loss and not worth the effort to be friends with them.
Just doing some "sight seeing" eh? Is that what they're calling it these days 😂😂😂 good to see your awesome adventures as always ❤
Hey Troy sightseeing is what they call it way back in the day. 😝😝😝. I’ve been through these mountains many many times through my adventures.
Beautiful little town. I like the dirt roads and rustic store fronts.
On your last video I bought you 3 beers. I don't know why, but my name didn't appear. I just wanted you to know it was from me.
It's cool that lady came all the way from NJ to meet you. Have a great time.
Hey Paul, yes I got your beers and it was deeply appreciated. She had a big event going on in Wyoming, so Idaho wasn’t that far out of her way. We have been good friends for over 20 years.
@@overthehillandoverthemount2925 Cool! It's great to see old friends.
Awesome area. I prefer a little further north. St. Regis , Wallace area mountains are huge there.
I spent a lot of time up by Saint Regis I see nothing special about those mountains, they’re just big hills to me compared to the sawtooth mountains.
@@overthehillandoverthemount2925 regardless which you like better they are all awesome. The Hugh mountains are great during the summer. It gets so hot in the cities but the mountains are cool with a great breeze. Stanley area is great , it's the gateway to the frank church wilderness. The Wallace area has so many atv snowmobile trails it would be hard to explore them all.
That is some nice looking country john period. How's the fishing?
The sawtooth mountains are pretty amazing. The fishing has not been too good. Most of the rivers around are too high to fish and there’s still a lot of snow in the mountains that are melting. Better fishing days are coming.
John, Barbara should be a regular. Your title said 'beautiful scenery', and you were right.
Aww thank you! 😊
There’s nothing better than beating up with good friends on the journey. The sawtooth mountains are one of my favorites.
If the creeks are fishable try Loon Creek, north of Stanley, lots of cutthroats. Ask at the fly shop.
Thanks for the advice. I will have to try that next time I go through there. I camped on iron Creek for a couple days and that little creek was flowing pretty good. I would say every creek that’s around. There is blown out. Right now I’m camping on the Payette river and it’s flowing pretty good.
Your channel is really changing.
The channel is changing, hoping it’s for the better. Do you prefer my old style with a lot more talking?
@@overthehillandoverthemount2925 I prefer the old style. More on the water in real time whether you catch anything or not.
I say this because most all the channels out there just show catching and not fishing! We both know thats not the reality of things. Plus, the water! It gives me a sense of relaxation. I'm still trying to get up there but these damn doctor appointments are killing me. Soon tho! Keep up the good work.
