I’ve had a few special process pieces that have failed over the years. Worse one was the Lazered reflex mat. Turned to a sticky mess. Ended up cutting it up and binning. The wool ice jacket. Colour change started to fade and the hood peeled. Grid checked ice smock that didn’t like being in the sun and started to sunburn after a few wears. Better just swerving them these days.
Very disappointing hearing about the heat reactive hood hopefully yiu can get it fixed mate

My first stone island piece which is the Lamey with the yellow fleece has been ruined with the black toggle rope ink bleeding through the hood from heavy rain.
What a shame the same thing has happened with my si reflect cap. That’s been stored for a few years I’ve mabey wore it 3 times now the materials like glue.

Proving to be one of my favourite jackets at the moment.
Goose is my top for cold winter weather. You just cant beat it.
I got the Belstaff down jacket last year with the hood i loved the double lining feature which allows some of the air out when its not too cold however am very disapointed with the down coming out of the jacket it not sealed well which is a shame i really like the jacket
That's a shame about the down, I wonder if it's worth reaching out to Belstaff.

all of the reflective jackets are garbage, literally fall apart. my reflective mussola gommata fell apart after only 2 years wearing it once a month. they used to trade for over 1k but now due to damage they are around 600
Stone island is not the same quality it was back in the 90’s. My ICE Blue and silver jackets i got over 20+ years ago are still going strong and sick AF

Stone island would say it's part of the jackets features, due to it being new fabrics and materials exclusive to Stone Island, they have no real knowledge of how the jacket will react over time unfortunately 😟
Unfortunately lad that is slowly going to spread across the jacket until (like someone else below say's) it's 'a sticky mess'! You can't sell that, you'll have to bin it. And if any stone Island lovers here got to see what my beautiful flowing camo reflective looks like now, they would never part with their cash again for one of these stupid 'prototype' coats
