Again, THANK YOU to UC Air Care and Mobile Care for their hospitality! What an amazing service! Don’t roast me too hard but I think I said these were P&W engines and they’re obviously Turbomecca Arriel 2Es! Definitely one of the premiere services in the U.S.! Love it!! 🙏💙🙏💙🤙🤙
Excellent showcase! I’m proud to be a part of the UC Health system. Glad you enjoyed an Uncrustable! Hard to keep them stocked as they are a fan favorite amongst the medics!
I am in very close proximity to UC's West Chester Hospital, and get to see one of the birds every single day. And hear it! We're on one of their approaches. (I love flying machines, though I only fly fixed wing craft.)
This is my favorite EMS/FIRE/ RESCUE / Law Enforcement heli... Travis Co. STAR Flight literally helped save my life in the non-e model... Beautiful paint scheme as well... Thanks as always for your coverage!
I've wanted to see UC aircare on here since I've found this channel! I really hope you enjoyed Cincinnati! The host you mentioned is a wonderful lady, I met her at a couple public events in or around Cincinnati. As always, great work!!!
Great job Justin! I lived in Cincy for 15 years and worked at UC and they are an excellent program! If it couldn't be us you highlighted, glad it was UC where you landed. Can't wait to see the Mobile Stroke Unit. Shands at UF in Gainesville also has one and I imagine others will be coming on line soon. Thanks for all you do! Stay safe....
New subscriber to the channel here... just wanted to say, that from an average Joe/lamen's point-of-view, your content goes a long way in terms of educational value. I can honestly say that a couple of videos ago, I knew almost nothing about emergency air lift services & now I KNOW that each one of these programs is amazing, has some of the most talented people anywhere running them on a daily basis & you guys are all absolute legends! So, thank you for the fantastic content & all the educational information that you provide! You're truly making a difference by informing the public & increasing awareness for how these services work!
I share his videos across multiple platforms because he deserves 10 times the subscribers that he has because of the phenomenal effort that he puts into these videos as well as education for the masses. The guy is rockstar.!!
Kind of wild seeing a 2022 EC145, delivered as an EC, with a conventional tail rotor and without FADEC. I don't think you could get any of those specs in Europe in the last couple of years anymore 🤯 saves weight though, I guess
That was the best footage I could find of a 5-bladed H145! Would love to come to your Edmonton base some day! Send me an email at staff@thedoctormedic.com and maybe we can hook up sometime!

If a pilot knew aviation history , he is natural lover of aviation .

You are doing a massive service to the HEMS industry. Very motivating.
Metro health also requires rotation on hems
Our AW139s all have medical air supply facilities for the Neonate transport program staff to use.
Nightingale in Norfolk, VA, just passed 40yrs with no fatal accidents, N145NG, part of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.😊
Excellent!
Great job covering the program! Advent Health Flight 1 program would be awesome to check out as well
Love the old BK’s!

The BK and 145 are beautiful machines I’ve always loved them.
I agree!
Their deployment model is pretty Interesting!! Great Video!!!
Best of the best!!! ❤️ UC

Thanks! Will do!
Awesome video. Diane and all the AC staff are great. I work at FSED just west of the base.
Yes they are!
@TheDrMedic she just did her last shift the other day. 😢

Incredible video only you could bring us!
Combining all my favorite things into a video, lets go!!!!!
I really enjoy your reporting!
Thank you!
Incredibly cool stuff!
Awesome!!
Thank you! Awesome mate

My service flys this bird and it is a Cadillac ! Being a baby flight medic and being able to start off in such a nice machine has been a blessing.
Couldn't agree more!
Thank you for sharing this video! I just got my Commercial Helicopter Rating and dream of being a HEMS pilot! So cool to see!
I love UC Air Care!! They are my local medical helicopters!!
We use the same aircraft in our program, the medical air is almost always used for neonatal runs for our isolette.
Ah! Good point! I have never transported an isolette as the service I worked for always swapped our crews for a NICU team on the neonate transports.
Cool B-Roll footage of STARS our local H-145 at YYC. You should come up here and check it out, and the Link Center (dispatch) in person.

@@TheDrMedic Calgary is YYC, Edmonton is YEG. I'll try to put you in touch w/ the STARS guys.
If you could make a trip to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, they have an awesome flight program with all new helicopters.
Stanford University has a premier program.
AWESOME
Thank you! Cheers!
I also have an interest of being a helicopter pilot for UC Air Care!!
Im a volunteer firefighter in Northeast Oklahoma and have helped EMS load patients in an EC130 (Tulsa Life Flight) and the pilot sits on the left
I wish it has Pratt and Whitney engines LOL
Is it setup for single pilot IFR? I called them years ago, and they sent a Neonatologist for my patient. VERY impressive service!
Currently configured with no controls on the co pilot side.
I couldn't tell if I heard you correctly or not. Did you say they were in and out of the sending facility in less than 6mins?
It’s the Columbus services who’ve had downed birds recently.
I’ve never understood the wire strike system.
It is supposed to cut smaller power lines or wires and keep them out of the rotor system or skids it they accidently hit them.
Are you a medical doctor and a paramedic at the same time?
Why did they leave the med crew at the hospital
Great question. I believe they had a local ground transfer to complete.
Nice show but some of us ( myself included ) don't know what you're talking about dumb it down
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll take that into consideration
@@TheDrMedic Thank You for acknowledging this request
Órale
Estás seguro que no eres pilot ?
Are you sure you’re not a helicopter pilot
