Oh man, you have absolutely no idea how mental these pilots get. I regularly see them lift off near buildings and trees with less than ten feet of clearance. In fact, that’s kind of the norm. Silly of the paramedics to not move their van though. The rotorwash from the helicopters causes so much flying debris. I know a couple pilots around me who served years in Bagdad and they say med flight makes Bagdad look like a cake walk
I know pilots quite well. I flew for the number 1 aeromedical service in my metro area for 20+ years, and I now manage a program as well. That's why I asked the question.🙂
I could hear the gongs of going into the transit torque limit on that OGE climb. Always thought the C2 could do better but it can't. Still a really good machine overall. The D3 is sooooo much better.
Can't, for the life of me, understand the fascination people have with helos, especially medical/fire/law enforcement personnel, who record & photo. Oh well, each to their own.
Can't believe the pilot lifted with that ambulance still so close!

The pilots are former military, they can land and take off from anywhere
@@jschreadley876 that’s awesome! Starting EM residency next year with the goal of getting into air medical
