Those fast hands man are killers cus d amato said speed kills and it is true the hands and strenght do the rest of the job
46-0 damn 🥊🥊🤯🤯.
Calzaghe and gatti should have so much more recognition than they do. They didn’t have the bravado attitude before the fight they let their skill and Trojan level mindset do the talking in the ring. Both the fighters used to battle with the pain of broken a hand. Top tier players Imo, but forgotten because of their fighting weight
I had dinner and a night out with Joe years ago. He was way bigger in person but as great company,....said he had to have painkilling injections in his hands in his later fights as they were so bad. Lovely man. Unreal cardio and combination punching, add in a great chin and defense....he was the full package 💯
MOST UNDER RATED FIGHTER OF ALL TIMES
Without a doubt one of the best british boxers of all time
Maybe the one who could have defeated Ward in SM, a shame it never happened
I think Ward would've beaten him but it would've been an interesting fight nonetheless.
@@jakubkowalczyk8992 yeah, to me was a 50/50 both are smart fighters, but calzaghe is a little underrated to me
@@jakubkowalczyk8992 Styles make fights. Calzaghe's swarming, pressure in-fighting has been shown (historically) to be especially problematic / dangerous to pure boxers...but falls apart versus brawlers. Ward vs. Calzaghe would have been incredible for about 7 - 8 rounds, before Ward starts to wilt.
@@SPIDERM0OSE Actually started wilting part way through the 2nd Kovalev fight. But the point is that I struggle to see any of the fighters he beat at SM having Calzaghe's volume & activity. Kessler (slow starter and measured pace), Froch was awkward and measured, Abraham had even lower activity, Dawson was a zombie. I think Bika was the most active in the S6, but he obviously can't compare to Calzaghe.
Calzaghe would've beat Andre Ward.
Greatest brit boxer of all time.
I love this Man best boxer forever. THE GOAT ♥️♥️
Absolute legend!!!
Joe PEPPERED people, not a second to think, your getting constantly stung, constantly, how do you even compose yourself with that speed, how do you even try and land a counter when he countered his own shots 😂😂❤
Best middle weight of all time an absolute weapon and a true warrior!
Legendary 🏴
I don't care about him resume or anything, I just wanna see him slip punches, showboat and do magic. Seriously underappreciated fighter, but then I guess that's what makes it all the more special, little subtle things to pick up on, always something new. The Kessler and Jones performances for me were beautiful. 'Time to shine, Joe!'
He wasn't all that sharp on defense, but he was fearless, relentless & could take a punch. It is surprising he hadn't gotten the recognition he deserves.
Best ever
Крутой и шикарный хайлайт))
Legit GOAT
Not quite but I do think he's the best Super-Middleweight of all time!
Great fighter
A rapid powerhouse. He really has nice connecting rabbit punches. A great boxer he is
Master!!
Sensational!
Chapeau Mr Calzaghe, you fought every match giving your all, you were a spectacular champion, the only fault? Not being born in the United States!
Great Joe!💪❤
