For my fellow nurses, I just tried the More v4 at work and it did not work well for me. I often wear my old More v3, which is super comfy but the v4 felt like I was walking in sand all day because it was too mushy. I've also used some old Altra Torins and they are pretty good. The Nimbus 25, with its firmer foam and max cushioning looks like a great work shoe.
I have avoided buying a max cushion shoe all these years because every time I’ve tried them on they’ve felt either clumsy, awkward, unstable, heavy or dull. I’ve primarily used the Sauc. Speed 1 & 2 for my marathon training LR’s but now that I have better racing shoes in my collection I decided to try all the max cush options again to see if I could find one specifically for LSD & recovery. For my petite, light weight biomechanics, the Nimbus25 felt the most like a “normal” shoe of any I’ve tried and felt more lively than, eg., the More4. Most options either had some issue with the uppers that would annoy me-especially that long on my feet-or just didn’t work for me in one way or another, at least based on the test on the sidewalk outside the store. We’ll see if I like even having this category of shoe; to be determined 😊
I know it's only February 1, but this is my shoe of the year. It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn hands down. I did a comparison to its competitors yesterday at my store and they just don't stack up in terms of softness and comfortability. I think it's going to fit a lot more variety of feet compared to the older models as well. ASICS absolutely nailed it with this one and I'm excited to see how the new Cumulus measures up to this Nimbus.

Tried these at my local store and they are ultra comfortable. These and the Nike invincible are the two that really stand out in terms of comfort in upper and soft squishiness. Highly recommend this new shoe
I use the Nike ZoomX Invincible Run as my everyday trainer. I hesitantly sampled these a few weeks ago at a monthly community run in South Florida sponsored by Asics and was sold! Lots of cushion in the forefoot too. I'm picking up a pair now that they've released.
Not as squishy-bouncy as ZoomX, but the upper is superior in comfort and design. I couldn’t get along with the Invincible upper to date though I’ve tried it on twice. Maybe V.3 or someday….
@@lloydbatungbakal1578 I won't say that they're more squishy but offer a more balanced ride. Invincible 3 has a more comfy ride but they are not meant for fast runs. I move faster in the Nimbus 25 with less effort, and the cushion is above the average Asics shoe.
Most definitely picking up a pair for casual wear. Maybe another pair for easy run days at some point too. Finally, the Trianglefooters are being heard.😁
@Sean Devlin I did a 16 mi LR in them today on a concrete 1 mi loop and they did keep my feet from feeling fatigued compared to LR shoes I’ve used in the past. I struggled toward the end probably for other reasons. But, we then walked over to Whole Foods and my legs felt great. It’s definitely an outstandingly comfortable shoe for recovery and/or walking.
Thanks for the review as always bringing value to the people. I was glad you dropped the V4 in for comparison as they are both on my list of must haves in 2023. Hope to see you at the Cherry Blossom this year
Just got these. £134 from amazon uk. Ran 10 miles in these today straight out of the box and they are excellent. No rubbing or break in period required. Great for your long slower runs, exceptionally comfortable. Saw a few reviews that said they run narrow, but I have quite a wide foot and I have had no issues whatsoever. In fact they seem quite roomy which is perfect as it allows your foot to swell a bit. Totally true to size in my opinion. A great addition to my rotation and i would highly recommend .
I couldn't resist this shoe, not only I bought the 'black/green' version, but I also bought the 'navy/orange' version within a month of buying the previous one!
Seems like the ideal shoe. I love the softness of the Novablast and squishiness but I find it hard to walk or run slowly in them as they’re so unstable (still). So the Nimbus seems ideal, with the softness but some more stability.
@kofuzi, does this outperform the SC Trainer in the 8-10min/mi range when you're looking for comfort for 4-6 miles runs? I currently use the Rebel v2 and V3 and love the FuelCell foam, just want to have more of it for my easy/steady runs and save the Rebels for a comfortable race day shoe where I'm running 7-7:30 pace. Does the SC Trainer offer more comfort in that speed range in your opinion?
I don’t have the SC Trainer though I’ve tested it in-store when I chose the Nimbus25. It’d say for runs as short as 4-6 miles you don’t need the plushness of the Nimbus but on the other hand, the upper is far more comfortable than the SC Trainer (in my humble opinion). If you want less shoe than the Nimbus and SC Trainer you could also consider the Saucony Triumph-still plenty of shoe and comfortable.
@@Martha-fluterunner The Triumph 20 has certainly caught my eye as well. I have flat/wide feet, I need the plushness because I tried running in about 20 shoes before settling on the FuelCell foam as being most comfortable for me.
@@Martha-fluterunner I have the Endorphin Speed 3 and love it! Hard not to pick up the pace in them though, so might use them for quicker sessions and maybe a half I’m doing next month.
Alot of people are giving good reviews for this, but YOU HAVE TO TRY IT YOURSELF. I hated how unstable the gel nimbus 25 felt when worn, it made me feel wonky and made me fall whenever i squat down because the foams are way too soft to the point that i felt i was wearing balloons; there is no clear defined edge so you can easily roll over, roll back, roll to the sides if you walk on uneven ground. In the end, i went with their stability line, the kayano-29.
It’s important to figure out what kind of shoes a reviewer tends to like. And then find a reviewer who likes the kinds of shoes that you tend to like. That is what will make reviews helpful. You, for example, like stability shoes. So you will probably disagree with many shoes that I like, since I intentionally avoid stability shoes. It does not make either your or my opinion wrong.
Runners may not like the lack of bounce/responsiveness in Asics Gel-Nimbus 25. Perhaps it will be a competitor for Adidas Ultraboost in the comfortable lifestyle sneaker category. What do you think?
it is really comfortable for walking around in, being on your feet all day, and general casual wear. and I think it looks great. I'm not sure it will quite catch on from a fashion perspective like the UB, but of all the Nimbus versions, this one has the best chance to get kind of crossover appeal.
my gawd... I'm a triangle footer.... sweet. Ordered a pair this morning in the same colorway, excited to get some miles in and see how they ride. It's a bit further down the road for the year but excited to try out the saucony kinvara pro and feel like they might pair well with the nimbus 25. great video man!
It was even worse, before the women‘s nimbus had a 13 mm drop (men‘s 10 mm), I‘m so glad they reduced it to 8 mm for both men & women 🙏 Love the cream colorway, too 👍🏻
Very nice review as always - I am definitely putting this on my list. I finally (begrudgingly) retired my Novablast 1 and looking for a replacement (already have version 3) in the rotation.
Hey Mike and all the viewers, I want to ask you a question regarding this shoe and novablast 3. I wanted to make it my daily shoes for working in the office and running after hours without changing or bringing another shoe to work and vice versa. Which one would you guys pick? Thank you. I wanted to try the novablast because it's cheaper, but I think the nimbus is also quite appealing 😁😁
I think with the amount of foam that the Novablast has it would be better if you are wearing it around during the day, but I have not tried the nimbus 25 yet.
I have both (and both are new models to me) They’re so different I recommend you try them on in a store and you’ll have a strong preference. It also depends what kinds of runs you’d be doing after your office hours. The Nova is more versatile and suited to some faster paces while the Nimbus is very plush and geared toward comfort and for me, longer slower running.
@@Martha-fluterunner Yes, definitely going to try them both on first. And i am using the mach 5 now and the shoes didn't really want to slow down. So probably going to be a slow and easy effort run. But thank you for the suggestions
Love the breakdowns at the end. I'm 6' 2" but on the lighter side so appreciate the note on bigger/taller runners. I'm curious - what height/weight do you mean when you reference this? I've noticed it in a few videos so want to make sure I understand if it applies to me 😂
for reference, I'm 5'10" and around 145. I don't have a particular height or weight in mind when I say it, and one does not have to necessarily be both bigger and taller. but some people's footstrike hits the ground harder due to weight while others due to height. I try not to put undue emphasis on body size here on the channel, so I leave it up to people if they want to put themselves in the category, and the references are there to acknowledge the foam of some shoes may feel a bit firm to me but just perfect to others.
Great review kofuzi! Nimbus 25 is my new favorite shoe. Last Nimbus I used was the 23 and I didn't like it much. This is a highly cushioned shoe, but was springy for me, as it actually help me run faster than I thought I was.
I love this review. I really like the comparison to the other shoes- and what to wear them for. And the triangle feet ? That’s me. Really helpful review
Just subscribed. Love your reviews & info! I bought the Hoka and returned it due to Achilles pain after a few weeks of running with them. I exchanged them for the ASICS Nimbus 25, higher heel & no Achilles pain. Please reviews sneakers for high arches and forefoot strikes. I am hoping the ASICS work for me. Thank you for helping all of us!
I've realized that we are just starting to really develop the tech, hope there's a time where we have this foams on cheap shoes

My pair for marathon training will be the Nimbus 25 (long run) and the NVBT3 (quality runs). I could go to the trials with Superblast, but Asisc restricts it to a size 13 (one number below my size)
What does running slow vs running faster mean in terms of pace as a rough idea? It might be useful to know as a guidance. I see a lot of these reviews for max cushion shoes specifically for recovery/easy runs, but an easy run for an elite runner may still be faster than a fast run for a beginner/ametuer. Basically at what sort of pace range does this shoe work best at? Would that possibly make these shoes more versatile for newer runners who aren't going to be doing any of their runs below a 4min/km pace anyway.
Just ignore that. As a beginner or slower runner you can make any shoe ur tempo easy race shoe...although you'll find yourself running faster in a speedy shoe naturally because of the different foams and nylon/carbon
Thanks for the review, great video btw. Just bought a pair of Nimbus 25 for my daily run and it's very great shoes! Not too stable for higher pace but it feel great for more relax run.
I have both and they’re very different but if you just buy one, the Nova is more versatile. However, if you need something for very long runs and recovery, that’s why I bought the Nimbus as well since I’ve never had a plush shoe designated for those specific use cases.
Great Review Kofuzi - I tried this one on the other day and it will for sure be a purchase in the near future definitely agree with you on the More v4 as well quite simlar shoes although you do feel the rocker on the v4 a bit more IMO but will have to wait until I get some more miles in them. Probably an unpopular view but on initial feel I think its better than the Novablast (I have v3 and its a fine shoe but I dont get the hype that others do for that shoe)
@@gilbertoflores7397 Not sure what you think the competition for the Novablast is. The Novablast is a daily trainer and $140 is pretty much the average in that range. Plenty of shoes in that space between $120 and $140
Do you think I would be able to put in a decent amount of miles in it through trails/all terrain? My XC team practices at a park and we often hit some trails and I don’t want to buy too many different shoes.
Thanks K, nice review as usual!! I tried this on in the store where I work and had to size down by 1/2. Haven’t tried to run in it yet but will probably give it a go at some point. I think it’s nice that the price remained the same. 👍 The Triumph is not nearly as stable as the N25. The More v4 is just way too much shoe for me.
Completely agree about the way Asics is an almost entirely brand. Until the Novablast I'd not have gone near as they seemed so antiquated in R&D and were seriously fugly.
As a max cushion shoe, would you prefer the Nimbus 25, or the Nike Invincible 2? I’m a heavier runner, and really enjoy the ZoomX, but it doesn’t feel like it has the resiliency in the forefoot over long distance where the Novablast 3 feels really nice, but not exactly a recovery/easy day shoe like the Invincible has been for me. Mainly use them for those days where my legs are beat up and want to take care of them. So what’s your opinion on these two shoes? Thanks!
@@marieclairechahine5900 not sure about Asics, but for sure Nike. A majority of their core business is lifestyle. I’ve found Asics shoes to really work for me for running. All three Novablasts have been excellent, the Glideride’s have been my “go-to” for half marathons, the Metaspeed Sky’s got me to a second place overall in a 10K Boston Qualifier event, and the Magic Speed 2’s have been a great tempo/long run training shoe for me. I’ve never ran in the Nimbus series, though. The Novablast hit the spot for me. My only problem is I use the Invincible 1’s for my recovery/easy days and they work really well… for the most part. I hate the upper, and the forefoot resiliency doesn’t seem to be there, but maybe it’s my tired feet 😂
I have the Invincible 2 and it’s the best recovery running shoe. It’s very responsive & bouncy so you can pick up the pace. I have the invincible 3 & both are different trainers. Not to mention the durability.
Give me a black knit upper and that same minty color and I'm all it!!! Completely reminds me of my Nike Lunarepic Flyknits. It's something about how that transition from the black and neon to the black mint sticks in my head for my introduction to running. It pulls me and make me willing to try other brands.
I have the nimbus 24 . It is a decent daily trainer shoe . It felt soft on the foot but i never felt like a maximum cushion shoes . At times you do feel like you wanting more cushion in that shoe. The Nimbus 25 looks like an upgrade & looks premium. I am planning to buy a new daily trainer shoe but i have yet to decide . I am gravitating towards Nike invincible 3
Why does almost every running shoe have so much more cushioning in the heel vs the forefoot? When im running the heel isnt the part of the shoe which is under the most shock. Its the mid and forefoot area. Why dont they try to make a shoe which has more cushioning in the forefoot/mid area?
If I had to pick 1 to purchase to use for walking /daily trainer which one would be a better option the Nova Blast 3 or Nimbus 25. I do have a fake knee so comfort and stability are most important. Does anyone have any insight, much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
as far as I know, there isn't going to be a Nimbus Lite 4. I believe the Nimbus Lite line was a bit of a testing ground for the Nimbus generally, experimenting with recycled materials, design changes, and different foams. I think the 25 merged the strengths of the legacy version with the learnings from the Lite series.
Sorry to say, but with the colorway review, it was hard to truly see the colors. The light seemed to blow out the whites a bit too much. I’m thankful for your review. I need a new shoe and am contemplating a max cushion right now.
Hello, I'm choosing new sneakers, I'd like them from asics (they fit my foot best of all the brands) and I don't know which model to get. I don't want any high-end model like meta speed, rather one that has good suspension for daily comfortable walking and doing all kinds of outdoor sports activities). As I looked, there are two models that would most suit what I want, and that is either Gel Nimbus 25 or Novablast 3. I don't know which one to choose. I heard that Nimbus 25 is better overall. My current sneakers are Novablast 1. The only thing that bothers me about them is that they don't seem that soft and sometimes quite unstable. That's why I thought I'd try the Nimbus model. Do you think it is a good choice? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Between the nimbus 25, novablast 3, and the superblast, which one would you have as the only shoe you can have for daily walking, standing stationary, and running (training and/or marathon).
I found the thin tongue has made the laces hurting my mid foot~~ because there isn't much padding... and my big toes would get numb... if I loosen it, it its then a bit loose and the pain still retain... Do you have any suggesting how I can solve that?
it's a different experience. one is more chill than the other. one is more stable than the other. you don't have to buy all the shoes, but there are many different kinds of runners and many different kinds of preferences.
Nice review, I will surely buy the Tokyo Marathon special version at the Expo! Can't wait for your shakeout run, I would suggest you the famous 5km loop around the Imperial Palace, that is right next to the Marathon Finish Line ;-)
I don't run, just long walks...It's so strange seeing people run in slo mo, like actual runners, because they almost always step with the middle of the feet instead of the heel, which is something I thought was supposed to happen. Guess I'm wrong!
Hi Kofuzi, great video super informative and love the combo suggestion and buying guide section! Had a question about the shoe, do you think it would be suitable for people with plantar fasciitis? Thanks!
I find the Triumph 20 to not be very friendly for the walk portion of run/walk training. This is because it is too unstable for me when changing pace. Is the new nimbus more friendly for the change?
Ha yes, the 25 is awesome! It’s time for ASICS to admit that putting gel in the midsole was just a marketing ploy borrowed from Nike Air to lure in people who don’t know what makes a good cushion 😂 I always thought it looks kinda cool but can’t possibly be doing much other than weighing the shoe down.
Yip i have triangular feet and i have a tiny , thin , and very sharp heel (backwards pizza slice) and always have a hard time keeping my heel secure (even with racers) . I usually go .5 size down (if the forefoot upper allows and even that at times that does not work) .
Tried the Triumph on in Road Runner Sports. Looked like the foam was styrofoam. Weird. It also had a weird smell to the shoe so left it behind. It would stink up my house. Checked multiple pairs. Same smell.
Do you have any shoe recommendations specifically for treadmill running (any brand/model)? I am just getting back into running (so won't be doing the long distances you pros do, aiming for 5Kish five days a week). I keep eyeballing the nimbus 25, superblast and novablast (and you gave my dream combo near the end of the video of the nimbus & superblast), but not sure if any of them make sense for me [5'3" female for reference]. Appreciate your insight!
whenever I run on a treadmill, the feeling I experience most is the treadmill, not the shoe. a lot of shoes that I don't like or think are too firm can be quite decent on a treadmill. I think the nimbus and novablast would be a lot of fun for the treadmill, but the superblast may be a bit overkill. it won't be bad, but a lot of what you're paying for gets muddled by the bounciness and softness of a treadmill deck
@@syhoover I use the TM a lot (living in the snowy/icy Rockies). I find less shoe is better though you can use any shoe on a TM. But high stack max cushion shoes are designed to lessen the impact on hard surfaces and the TM is softer and bouncier than an outdoor surface. I have 2/3 shoes you’re considering and I’d rather use the NovaBlast than the Nimbus on the TM. Frankly I use my Brooks Hyperion Tempo a lot on it if I’m doing any speed work. I enjoyed the New Balance 1080 v 12 on it (I’m retiring that shoe but it’s kind of in the middle in terms of stack height and cushion) for any kinds of workouts. I’m also 5’3”, 102 lbs, if that helps!
Hey Ko. While the 25 did get a big improvement how does the toebox width compare to last years model? My nimbus 24’s are a perfect fit except for in the toebox so i’m wondering if I might need to get the 2E option if I am to pick up the Nimbus 25. Thanks!!
I feel like this FF blast + isn’t as soft as the Novablast 3. My legs actually feel more beat up after running in the Nimbus 25 in comparison to the Novablast 3 despite the stack height difference.
@@kofuzi Yeah I agree with the different technologies all playing a part. I hope that these companies are more consistent with the foams though. The name of the foam should have very little variation in softness/bounce model to model. I personally want the softest foam available. Bounce doesn’t matter to me. I’ve stocked up in Novablast 2’s for that reason 😀
I can’t do ASICS or Nimbus anymore. I last wore the Gel-Nimbus 17s and every iteration after that were clunky and crappier compared to Brooks Glycerin. Nowadays, Nike’s Invincible Run 2, and many other brands + models, are destroying ASICS and their Nimbus line.
I keep telling everyone to try them both on in a store. I did and while I preferred the Nimbus instantly over the More, many have the opposite preference. You’ll know.
OK so I only have about 20 miles in this shoe but it makes my legs feel good, but the shoe itself is too big for me when I run. I have narrow feet and usually prefer Nikes...my feet are sliding forward in the shoe, and I think the reason is the toebox is too large for me. The comfort is obscene; they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever used. But I haven't been able to figure out how to make them work on my feet....I've tied the laces so tight that the comfort is compromised, and it still doesn't help keep my foot in place. I don't have triangle feet, I have long-ass narrow feet. I should have kept the Invincible 3, which I returned. Nike's toebox always fits me.
I don’t get why they didn’t just make this the nimbus light? Because those seems like a big departure. It may be amazing I haven’t tried them. Just seems more like a lite than a traditional is all I was thinking. God bless

I have the 23, which I like....except the mesh which tears if a leaf drops on it. The Adidas Marathon 10 were the champs of durability.
@6:55 Cough RocketX2 Racing Shoe - looking forward to that review
I couldn't resist this shoe, not only I bought the 'black/green' version, but I also bought the 'navy/orange' version within a month of buying the previous one!
Seems like the ideal shoe. I love the softness of the Novablast and squishiness but I find it hard to walk or run slowly in them as they’re so unstable (still). So the Nimbus seems ideal, with the softness but some more stability.
Just ordered mine on a deal at under £150, a lot more relevant than the Endorphin Elite, great review and can't wait to get them now!
nice
More relevant? Can you elaborate?
@kofuzi, does this outperform the SC Trainer in the 8-10min/mi range when you're looking for comfort for 4-6 miles runs? I currently use the Rebel v2 and V3 and love the FuelCell foam, just want to have more of it for my easy/steady runs and save the Rebels for a comfortable race day shoe where I'm running 7-7:30 pace. Does the SC Trainer offer more comfort in that speed range in your opinion?
I had the same question. Want something for long runs of different paces as well as easy recovery runs. Is the Nimbus or SC Trainer a better option?
I bought this shoes right after I saw this review because you said “REALLY” 2 times before you said “GOOD”
Alot of people are giving good reviews for this, but YOU HAVE TO TRY IT YOURSELF.
The prices are really getting ridiculous, it's priced at 200€ here in Germany...
It's a bit further down the road for the year but excited to try out the saucony kinvara pro and feel like they might pair well with the nimbus 25. great video man!
for real? are you a triangle footer?
So you can build your shoes rotation complete with Asics now - Novablast Superblast Metaspeed Sky+ Nimbus 25
It was even worse, before the women‘s nimbus had a 13 mm drop (men‘s 10 mm), I‘m so glad they reduced it to 8 mm for both men & women 🙏 Love the cream colorway, too 👍🏻
Yes, I’ve been complaining for years about the ridiculously high drop on the women’s versions of some of their most popular shoes. Finally!!
Yes! I tried the earlier versions of recent years and my feet did not like. Excited to try this one!
Coffee, pan dulce and a Ko shoe review to start my day 🙏🏾
sounds like a great morning!
Very nice review as always - I am definitely putting this on my list. I finally (begrudgingly) retired my Novablast 1 and looking for a replacement (already have version 3) in the rotation.
About the same as i am. Been with novablast 1 for almost 2 years now.
Just got the Nimbus 25 in the mail today. Super stoked to try them.
Hope you have a great run!
Nice touch with the Baby Shark at the end 😂
This might be the best looking Asics shoes I’ve ever seen
That Fleet Feet educational cameo was dope! Mine get here today. Can’t wait!
hope you love them!
Already got mine with blue sky colour, this shoe will be my daily trainer
Hey Mike and all the viewers, I want to ask you a question regarding this shoe and novablast 3. I wanted to make it my daily shoes for working in the office and running after hours without changing or bringing another shoe to work and vice versa. Which one would you guys pick? Thank you. I wanted to try the novablast because it's cheaper, but I think the nimbus is also quite appealing 😁😁
I think with the amount of foam that the Novablast has it would be better if you are wearing it around during the day, but I have not tried the nimbus 25 yet.
@@ajayaltman8114 Okay, I'll try to keep that in mind. Thanks
They need to release that all white pair with the gum soles
Love the review as always!
Comes in Wide. No wide on the Nova Blast 3 had to return. Same for Saucony equivalent or maybe not stocked at my Champs.
Love the breakdowns at the end. I'm 6' 2" but on the lighter side so appreciate the note on bigger/taller runners. I'm curious - what height/weight do you mean when you reference this? I've noticed it in a few videos so want to make sure I understand if it applies to me 😂
Probably 180+. I’m 6’4” 165lbs so on the lighter side as well. I have both the Nova and the Nimbus and they work well at my weight
6’6 200lbs and the triumph series is my go to
for reference, I'm 5'10" and around 145.
Glad to hear it’s working for you!
YAY!!! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!🥰
I love love love runnung in these shoes! The comfort is next level
It was quite a surprise
I love this review. I really like the comparison to the other shoes- and what to wear them for. And the triangle feet ? That’s me. Really helpful review
Glad it was helpful!
Me: “Oh sick new shoes just dropped I can’t wait to get the old shoes for cheaper”
New Shoes: ✨✨✨✨
Also me: *I* *can* *handle* *50* *more* *dollars*
Hahaha!
Finally!! Was waiting for this one for a while
Just subscribed.
I think of myself as triangle footed because I'm a little duck-footed; only wide-ish as I get towards the ball of the foot.
I really wish that cream colour is available in my country, really love that pair! Managed to try a pair and it's so much different from nimbus 24!
I’m leaning more toward getting the Novablast 3 TR but this one is tempting
Been waiting for this review, well done! Is Robbe's (BITR) statement that an all white colorway is going to be dropped is true?
Not too stable for higher pace but it feel great for more relax run.
glad to hear you're enjoying it!
Should it be considered to buy this shoe if u have the novablast 3?
Wondering the same, I’m sure they’ll be comparisons by other channels. Although, seems like a different shoe audience
I have both and they’re very different but if you just buy one, the Nova is more versatile. However, if you need something for very long runs and recovery, that’s why I bought the Nimbus as well since I’ve never had a plush shoe designated for those specific use cases.
I’m so torn between ordering the Nimbus 25 or invincible 3. I might wait for the all white Nimbus 25 to come out.
Easy choice. Invincible is more enjoyable. Referring to Invincible 2.
Easy choice. Nimbus 25 is more enjoyable.
@@joshcontreras8821 Not even close. You must work for ASICS.
@@itsahardmuttlife9263 for the looks, invicible 3 have some weird color combination especially on the midsole

I think we will definitely see two camps: Team Nova and Team Nimbus
The novablast is like 140. All its competition is pushing the 180+ range. So it offers incredible value.
@@gilbertoflores7397 Not sure what you think the competition for the Novablast is. The Novablast is a daily trainer and $140 is pretty much the average in that range. Plenty of shoes in that space between $120 and $140
@@kofuzi Ha-I have both and they’re both new models to me. I have yet to put serious miles (outdoors) on either so the jury is out.
@@Martha-fluterunner how bout now?
Do you think I would be able to put in a decent amount of miles in it through trails/all terrain? My XC team practices at a park and we often hit some trails and I don’t want to buy too many different shoes.
i wouldn't go with these for xc season. they're a bit too chill
@@kofuzi gotcha thanks
Thanks K, nice review as usual!! I tried this on in the store where I work and had to size down by 1/2. Haven’t tried to run in it yet but will probably give it a go at some point. I think it’s nice that the price remained the same. 👍 The Triumph is not nearly as stable as the N25. The More v4 is just way too much shoe for me.
This video intro is insane!!!!!!!!
Diffused lighting will make the videos pop a lot more. With a bg light. Thanks for the content.
In which setting? The A roll, B roll, or outside running footage?
Completely agree about the way Asics is an almost entirely brand. Until the Novablast I'd not have gone near as they seemed so antiquated in R&D and were seriously fugly.
'Entirely NEW'
As a max cushion shoe, would you prefer the Nimbus 25, or the Nike Invincible 2? I’m a heavier runner, and really enjoy the ZoomX, but it doesn’t feel like it has the resiliency in the forefoot over long distance where the Novablast 3 feels really nice, but not exactly a recovery/easy day shoe like the Invincible has been for me. Mainly use them for those days where my legs are beat up and want to take care of them. So what’s your opinion on these two shoes? Thanks!
Wondering whether they now have turned it into a lifestyle shoe 🤔
@00:24. All I can think is how rad you look in these shots brother" 👏🏻💪🏻
thanks!
Nimbus 25 is going to be a bit more stable than novablast 3
@@kofuzi Thank you, much appreciated. This helps a lot.
I hope the nimbus lite 4 reflects similar changes. Looking forward to seeing it, and your review of it! Thanks Mike.....
as far as I know, there isn't going to be a Nimbus Lite 4.
Excited to try this shoe! I absolutely love your intros and running sequences with the music. What’s that song? So good! ✌🏾
Nimbus 25 is $170 at Fleet Feet and Dicks SG, not 160. So I walked out of Fleet Feet. Even 160 is too high.. But Amazon and Asics has them for 160.
If you think Novablast is unstable, you will probably like Cumulus
Between the nimbus 25, novablast 3, and the superblast, which one would you have as the only shoe you can have for daily walking, standing stationary, and running (training and/or marathon).
I'd pick whichever is cheapest
Novablast or nimbus
Nimbus. Novablast will wear out more prematurely
I agree with Kofuzi that Nimbus 25 would be a good option for walking and standing long time. I would take Nimbus 25 over other two options.
At about 18 miles with my pair and exact same colourway 😎
I found the thin tongue has made the laces hurting my mid foot~~ because there isn't much padding... and my big toes would get numb... if I loosen it, it its then a bit loose and the pain still retain... Do you have any suggesting how I can solve that?
Nimbus 25 or Novablast 3 for a daily trainer?
Nova. Nimbus is ez days only
Nimbus 25 vs Invincible 3?
I’m confused why one would choose the Nimbus over the Novablast. It can do everything the Nimbus does and also can handle some upper tempo paces.
it's a different experience. one is more chill than the other. one is more stable than the other.
you don't have to buy all the shoes, but there are many different kinds of runners and many different kinds of preferences.
definitely an interesting shoe!! exited to hear your opinions on the invincible 3’s
Nice review, I will surely buy the Tokyo Marathon special version at the Expo!
Can't wait for your shakeout run, I would suggest you the famous 5km loop around the Imperial Palace, that is right next to the Marathon Finish Line ;-)
This will be my first nimbus
hope you enjoy!
Great as always. Can you please compare the Nimbus 25 to the More v4? You would do me a great favor Kofuzi.
Ha yes, the 25 is awesome! It’s time for ASICS to admit that putting gel in the midsole was just a marketing ploy borrowed from Nike Air to lure in people who don’t know what makes a good cushion 😂
I always thought it looks kinda cool but can’t possibly be doing much other than weighing the shoe down.
Nimbus 25 still contains gel... .
@@kofuzi Thank you!
@@syhoover PS The SuperBlast is definitely big overkill for the TM
@@Martha-fluterunner thanks so much!

My legs actually feel more beat up after running in the Nimbus 25 in comparison to the Novablast 3 despite the stack height difference.
there's more to a shoe than stack height, even if the foams have the same name. it's a weird time in shoe technology
Ahh this or More V4?? More V4’s are one sale for around ~$115
More V4 is softer and has a wider fit. Nimbus is much more stable. You decide
Nike's toebox always fits me.
sounds like a sizing problem
I don’t get why they didn’t just make this the nimbus light? Because those seems like a big departure. It may be amazing I haven’t tried them. Just seems more like a lite than a traditional is all I was thinking. God bless
Great review, thanks! How do you compare it to the NovaBlast 3? I'm hesitating.
more stable but a bit less squishy than the novablast 3. I'd say it is in-between the novablast 3 and a nimbus lite 3.
I really like the chapters of the video !
