When it comes to grip in these wet winter months, the More v4 permafrost is an absolute dream! It's loud, but the grip is practically as good as Puma grip.
100% agree with all you've said, the nimbus 25 was a great recovery shoe but try and up the pace you feel the bulk! have the Ride 17 and you can do so much more in it for 70euro less!
I bought the 25's and found them ridiculously comfy but way too heavy, just use them as casual shoes now and much prefer the On Running Cloud Surfer 7 or On Running Cloud Eclipse which were two of my favourite shoes of the year for 2023.
I have an old pair of gel-fujitrubaco 8s trail shoes that have ASICS grip and they are ridiculously slappy. And yes trail shoes should be tougher etc but even on the trails they’re just brutal.
I’d love to hear what Tom, who likes plush shoes, thinks about this shoe.

The upper feels tight on the first wear. Does it mould/stretch after a few runs?

When i tried the 25s they were very tight feeling on my wider feet.
Will the 26s still fit true to size or should i go for the wide versions.
