- I made this video for any w211 owner that might encounter the same problem. Appears to be a quite common occurence on the W211. Turned out to be two ball joints on the suspension arm being worn out in this case, both the upper and lower.

damn thx for this video my car just started doing the same today, was afraid it was going to be expensive
My 2006 e 320 cdi did exactly the same it was the lower control arm
Look at Control arms bushings..sway bar bushings , ball joints. The cause lies in one of these.
Yeah, you're right. This problem has been solved since this video was uploaded (four years ago)! :D
@@bkorven lol ha yeah I noticed you answered someone else after I posted so I thumbs up your reply lol.
@@smokegreentree Haha I see. I appreciate that you're trying to help though!
Same like this on my car
Wait a minute.... where I heard that 🤔... 🤣 In mine aswell
Mine does this in dry weather
Stops when it rains.
Luckily I’m in 🇬🇧
That's good, but it doesn't sound sustainable in the long term though, haha
Haha same here but I’m in Texas so squeaky all the time. Have a good day
100000000%. Ball Join
What wheels are those ?
They come from a CLK63 AMG Black Series
@@bkorven thanks

Hey,
i have a question ( sry for my bad english ) :
I have also buy the CLK Black Series Wheels yesterday, but i don't know whichs tires a take for behind.
It is 275/30 ZR 19 or 265/30 ZR 19?
Thank you!
Nice greets vom Germany!
Hi,
Nice! My setup is:
275/30/19 rear (hintere)
255/35/19 front (vordere)
265mm width would probably go on the rear wheels, but I would suggest 275/30/19 or even 285/30/19 in the rear. I had 285mm before, but since I lowered my car I now have 275mm instead. Both sizes fits the rear rims perfectly.
bkorven Thanks for your answer....
255/35 in Front?
It is not a little bit to much for the front?
Have you do anything in the mudguard? Front or behind or this is problem free?
I See you also have airmatic.....
I have a E320 CDI facelift, i dont know to choose the tires for the Wheels....
Anh Vu 255/35 in the front is just fine :) 245/35 works just as good for those rims, might be the size I have now that I think of it. Haven't done anything with mudguard. I rather wash the car regularly :P
275/30/19 in the rear and 245/35/19 is a suitable setup for the CLK Black Series wheels.
bkorven Thank you for your Answer again!
I have order the Tires in 245/35 in Front and 275/30 in the rear, but in Germany i have problems to register it in my vehicle documents ....
This is a very long game for me.
Have you Facebook?
Anh Vu You're welcome, glad I could help!
Whats the problem because mine makes the same noise.
Worn ball joints
Hi what was the problem did you get it fixed mines doing the same
Hey! The problem was worn ball joints in the control arm.
@@bkorven which control arm? The one with the balljoint in the middle?.
@@matthewleonard5290 I was a bit unclear in that reply. Both the upper and lower control arm was replaced, the upper one being the one with the balljoint in the middle. Which one of the upper or lower made the noise I'm not too sure about. Had this job done for me back then.
Pretty bad one lol
Its from brakes
Dude...no...
