Love decorating all through the year. Christmas is my favorite. I put one tree up for thanksgiving then right after thanksgiving I decorate the rest of the house and put up more trees. Love Christmas the best

Hey….. there is nothing wrong with “over the top”! I am like you, Cambriea! I remember the family time and traditions…the food, the fun, the costumes, the family times…and I really only remember my biggest gifts for Christmas…my toy kitchen when I was about 3, my first motorcycle when I was 10. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons! I cannot tolerate heat and extreme sun (always had trouble with heat…side effect of chemotherapy has made it even worse). Christmas is my favorite time to decorate. At Halloween, we have the neighbors on both sides come to our front porch. We all have our own candy supplies and hand out 3 houses worth of candy from our front porch. We have a blast and love watching the kids all come up for candy!

I always loved Halloween and I loved taking my children out on Halloween. Our decorations were on a very small scale but we always looked forward to it. We always carved a pumpkin so the smell of the pumpkin brings back memories.
So glad you all are safe! We have family that lives near you so we were worried about them as well. We just prayed for it to slow down if it was going to hit. Also we live here in Maryville Tennessee with a huge house you all are welcome to come to if you ever have to evacuate! And we mean that in a serious way! The maniacal laughing witch in the front porch rocker, and the wildly twitching upside down person/ghost being eaten by the spider may be my two favorites, but I just love all the funny little touches and signs everywhere. The hillbilly skeleton drunken brawl is also hilarious! Too great!!❤

Halloween is my absolute favorite!! I really do it up big inside and out. My son has grown up with my love of Halloween and he’s an also a huge fan. We’ve been doing the same ‘add a few things every year’. It’s the best way to do it. We like a little of both creepy & cutesy. BTW you guys did an awesome job!!
