I had this watch in blue for about 2 years. Was a great watch and the vibration alarm with super handy. I actually did use it to wake me so it wouldn't disturb my wife! Best part about this watch was the super easy-to-use light and that the pushers were easy to push because they weren't tucked inside like the dw-5600.
I love it when Casio does knock-offs of its own watches. I got a similar Casio Not-A-GShock-But-It-Looks-Like-One for a lot less. Printing doesn’t last as long, and it gets beat up more easily, but it’s a great beater and work out watch.

Jody in the stopwatch mode you can also set a 5sec countdown , when all zero's are showing press split and 05 are showing above the minute and auto rep apears above the seconds ,press start and you have a 5sec countdown and the chrono Starts

After hitting my Mako II on a rock while mountain biking (and absolutely nothing happening to it) I switched to Casio MRW200H-1BV just in case and am completely satisfied. You just can't beat Casio when it comes to beater watches (get it?).
These work well for shift workers who need ear plugs to block out sound during the day. Sleeping is difficult during the day, but near impossible during a noisy day.
I have a vibrating Casio, the GD350-8 which is a G-Shock, and it is one of my favorite daily drivers. It was on sale for $70 when I picked it up. You're right, Casio doesn't disappoint!
I love the GD350. Looks very stealthy/military and the vibration wakes me up every time. Also the negative display is the best I've seen on any G-Shock.
I own both. I found the gd350 superior in every respect except for 1) price and 2) size (I prefer something smaller). I prefer to wear the model in this video during the day for a lot of tasks but as an alarm clock, the GD350 with its snooze alarm is the only one that can reliably wake me up. I still love both watches and regularly use both.
Jody, (off topic) you'll recall I had to wait months to get a Timegrapher from AE earlier this year. Well, I ordered a Seagull 1963 on July 17 from Ali Express. It arrived yesterday. It is a reverse panda, acrylic crystal display back model, the ST19 (nee Venus 175) is a joy to look at. Ali Express, you are redeemed!
On Amazon it does look blue/purple, but it's clearer in your video. A tip for Casio model #s - the number after the dash is approximate color info: -1: Black -2: Blue -3: Green -4: Red -5: Brown -6: Purple -7: White/Silver -8: Grey -9: Gold Over the thousands of models they've made, there's a lot of inconsistency to the above, but it's remained relatively true for the past 30+ years. The color coding is actually more detailed than that (there's a color #, a letter for screen polarity, and another sub-color #), but this is all data gathered by fans and subject to change.
It's perfect for fishing (yes the purple one! :D). Even better than dedicated Casio fishing watches. Waterproof, good backlight and vibrating timer when you don't want to make a sound and you want to track time between casting and reeling (especially while you use feeders). I should know i use one since last year.

I’m cool with paying just under a fiver for the import tax etc but the good old Royal Mail stiffed me with a , help ma boab, £8 handling charge!! Enjoy your videos, always a treat to watch
This has been my go-to gym watch for a while (black colourway, although actually prefer the purple!). The countdown timer's perfect for timing rest periods/circuits etc. and the vibrations are much less annoying to everyone else in the area than having a beep. It also means I'm not constantly checking my watch for any remaining time. The ridiculous price also makes it completely replaceable in the event of it being whacked with some weights!!

It's a great little watch for what it offers! One of the few budget friendly vibrating watches out there with a countdown timer. Great for keeping productive with Pomodoro, while keeping your alarms discrete and quiet.

I got my first G-Shock Ga-100c and absolutely love it. Took it to the beach last weekend and wear it at work and it's a tough cool watch. It has a resin strap, and I ordered a NATO strap kit for it. I am no my a fan of digital watches even though I have two Timex's from the 70's in my collection. Purple is a cool color for a watch

I have this watch that is now 6 years old on my wrist, the strap broke in 2 years, I replaced it with a nylon velcro one, the color also got darker like a dark blue with exposure to the sun, I changed the battery now because the alarm vibration was very weak, I put an extra 20% duracell, and the vibration is like new! I just bought one in negative for my girlfriend, but mine is the most accurate casio I've ever had, it loses 2-3mins a month, my girlfriend's new one loses that in 15 days!

I work in a power plant. Even the sound attenuated office is too noisy to reliably hear the beep of an electronic watch alarm . Standing around machines that operate at 120db+ , there's no hope. Vibrating alarms are the shizzle. I'd like to see at least 4 separate vibe alarms, though.

Love this watch, great for hiking and exercise. But the battery life is not 10 years, when used extensively such as light and alarms. Sounds logical, right? After a year or so my screen started to behave strangely but was fixed with a new battery. The vibration alarm lasts only ten seconds, wish it was longer. But works for the gym very well, when you don't need to draw attention with bleeps. The alarm - 20 sec, again a bit short - could be louder. If you need to catch a flight early in the morning, don't rely on these alarms. Used it intensively, needed to replace the strap. It as a Hirsch rubber strap now, which feels more comfortable. However, beside my comments still a great reliable watch for the price, will take it on my 200km hike in Denmark. But not after I replaced the battery to be on the safe side. Be well and thanks!
Just like when I built my Seiko diver with orange dial and black bezel. Well, I didn't open my eyes enough, and the bezel insert is pine green, so now it's a 150m automatic IRISH FLAG on my wrist which I don't mind at all to be honest :D It has grown on me quite a bit :)

Try the timex cliff diving red bull watch. I got it for Christmas. Another thing. I have the watch in your review (black and silver) on currently (when this was written) and although I like super illumination I prefer electro luminescent illuminator more.
the better version is the casio W-736H...i hope you can review this watch too.... bigger display, brighter light (to my eyes) but not so many colour variation... vibration feel is also stronger and better. still at bargain price, love that beater watch. love all your reviews!
I think you are trying to hide the fact that you love purple color. I am long time subscriber, and I think I remember one other super purple watch you reviewed. Admit it, there is no shame in liking purple. I mean Deep is Purple, Rain is Purple, Haze is Purple and ofc Stain is Purple.

I know absolutely nothing about watches except that I'm very bad with time. I've been wanting a wrist watch with a vibrating timer to help with my adhd and time blindness issues (phone timer works fine but I get way too easily distracted and it isn't very subtle) but the special timer watches seem pretty expensive just for test purposes. I've been thinking of this one and because of your videos I think I'll end up picking this one up! One question though, I have a pretty small wrist, can the strap be adjusted a lot? I didn't really find that info (or maybe just didn't notice it!). If you have any other recommendations for a vibe alarm wrist watch (that's preferably under 100 dollars) I'd love to hear them! Anyways, this was a super informative video! I usually can't pay attention to these types of things but you have such a pleasant way of speaking that it really kept me listening the whole time! So I've had this watch for a small while and I love it a lot! I was afraid I couldn't use a watch at all because of sensory issues but it's super comfy and light! And even with my small wrist it doesn't look huge and fits comfortably. Most importantly, its just what I needed! It's been like 2 weeks and it has really helped me with time management and does just what I wanted! The vibration is very noticeable but silent so its very discreet. Thank you for this video, this is what convinced me to finally get this watch!

Perhaps take a look at the Casio SGW500H for another great non G-Shock with a ton to offer. Under $60, ani-digi, compass, temperature sensor, and all the other typical Casio features.

I have been owing the black and the golden one for many years and the 736. Very good watches. The vibration alarm wakes me up every morning.
In the dark the light is so bright (nearly too bright) that the watch works well as a flashlight in my bedroom.
I have not tried that. but i like the houerly vibration signal. it is less unobtrusive than a 'biep'.
I have the watch great you can leave the vibrate on also you could leave the hourly signal and the alarm

Love this one. I like that the light button is in front and don't have to figure out which is the light button on the side.
It's the best watch for doing short performances. If you're a budding comedian or a budding musician and want to do the open mics this watch is vital.

I’ve had one of these in green for 5 years, works a treat except the band is starting to split.

Vibration alarm also useful if you tend to fall asleep on your commute by train or bus and can estimate your time of arrival!

It could be worse - white one (at least for me - purple is fine, love it).

Vibration alarm on a Casio is a great idea. My AWGm100’s alarm has failed to wake me up a number of times.

I think Casio used to call it a vibrator until someone pointed out certain similarities....vibe sounds a bit better!
Perhaps take a look at the Casio SGW500H for another great non G-Shock with a ton to offer. Under $60, ani-digi, compass, temperature sensor, and all the other typical Casio features.
