Only tracks missing in AMS2 to fill out the 11 race Weathertech calendar is Sebring, CTMP, the new Detroit street circuit and Road Atlanta.

Reiza has been knocking it out of the park lately. I'm most looking forward to Sebring, Road Atlanta, the Lexus RC F GT3, and the Acura ARX-06. And it would be really cool to have the GTP's launch in EV mode before the ICE kicks in! Everyone loves that. Drive on!

Just got AMS2 after getting LMU early access. AMS2 in VR is heads and shoulders over LMU and with IMSA partnership, I hope for Sebring and Ferrari 296 to show up
Release candidate and now full release only shows how AMS2 differs from other sims in such a unique way. It's more about presentation than anything and I love it
Until they fix the bugs I just can’t put time into a sim where your race is ruined because they can’t put the right tires on or other odd things happen. The lack of a good MP makes it just a hotlapper but I haven’t really touched it for a long time. I came aboard for the CART cars which was good but the ovals aren’t right and bugs like mentioned above, parts laying on the tracks, wheels, wings… Will see what 1.6 gives but that will be at years end most likely
That's exactly why I don't touch it, I go online and it's very limited, the cars that attract me to AMS2 are completely dead unless I wait a year for a league. I hope there is a way to really boost the driver count, but with the stuff competition in sim racing I am not sure it's possible.

I have never really become at one with AMS, something about the way the limit is a bit obscure in some cars, but I've never felt more immersion than racing McLaren F1 GTR at old Hockenheim so... Always willing to give it more time, so long as there are actually servers to drive in ...
The IMSA stuff only makes sense if they can really polish the multiplayer with all this ranked stuff like in LFM or LMU. For me AMS is a nice singleplayer experience only and i really hoped that they would polish everything else on the game and add a nice career mode. And to be honest who needs better trees in AMS2, they look fine. Better shadows and an ingame saturation slider would be better to get rid of this cartoonish look. Until then i will stick to AC which imho is superior in every aspect. And of course waiting for AC2 like a small kid on Christmas eve.
This might work for online endurances, but the last time I tried to do a longer race in AMS2 with the A.I. the experience was unfortunately pretty awful and I hope they fix it. AI doing crazy bad pit strategies, AI not being balanced when changing grip from rain to dry weather conditions. It felt almost as the AI cars were running on a parallel world of physics different from the player car physics.
Thanks for the video and what is coming for IMSA. AMS 2 now has allot of great tracks. The one missing from the US, I know it is not part of IMSA, but would love to see Detroit Indycar track added into the game. AMS 2 pretty much has all the popular road/street tracks to also do an Indycar series. Other tracks to make it more complete would be nice are Mid-Ohio, Toronto, Portland, Milwaukee Mile. Whether AMS 2 could even do any of these due to licensing is another story. I think IRacing right now has some of the Indycar licensing
No way. AMS2 was my go to sim a month ago. After LMU release I have spent all my sim time in it and coming back to AMS2 after a month I am shocked by the differences in all aspects of the sim. Physics in LMU is superior, sound is superior, multiplayer is completely different level, and shockingly the graphics are also much better in my opinion. I would never believe I would say that in relation to the sim based on RF2. Coming back from LMU to AMS2 really feels to me like going from sim to an arcade game.
wont be for me, ams2 is single player and it has no save game mid race feature. acc has save, rf2 are resume from replayed, lmu too will get it. ams2 cant have save feature as per the dev due to limitations of the engine. so hard to do single player endurance races.
Save mid-session is a MUST in my opinion. What’s the point of having Endurance Content if you can only do max 3 hours race? (Provided you have 3 hours to spare everytime you play). That will still be a huge limitation for AMS2 especially considering they are THE sim for people who like to compete against AI (the best on the market… iRacing it’s too expensive to be considered part of the same market)
