My son graduated last year, he is living in another state and I haven’t see him in 6 months, I will see him, God will, in another 18 months. I know he miss me, he miss my food and our late talks in the car. But I miss him more, I miss his cubby face when he was a baby, I miss his little hand clinging from mine, I miss his kisses and hugs and that he was always complimenting my food. I miss the nights when we just laid in his bed not talking because he was having a bad day but I just wanted to be close to him, with him. I miss him so much. He is my older boy, my best friend and my right hand. I know that when he comes back from his mission, he will built his own life, he will find new friends and new relationship, maybe a new city and maybe he will not need me as much but I will always need him and love him. ❤❤ Congratulations class of 2023!!
Just saw this on tiktok. ❤ I graduated over 13 years ago but this song is accurate, we lost my dad a few years ago and my mom's getting older. I would do anything to go back and have this experience again. Thank you for this gem of a song.

While I wish my child would express his feelings like this, I have to say that he is just like me. So, in turn, I wish this beautiful song could have been written when I was a college graduate. I sent this to my parents while at the same time, I feel in my heart that my son has similar sentiments. He just doesn't express them as I didn't way back then.
