wow, this guy seriously needs a haircut. he can't design lights looking like that...
Excuse me sir but we are going to ask that you refrain from rude comments. You might trigger the sensitive Gen Z creator in this video.
So when Jake finally gonna drop the 'with Jake Gosselin' or add "ft. Ashton"?
Dropping “with Jake Gosselin” soon
you did a good job dont mind the negative comment.remain focus and more grace with the good work. God bless you and the team.
@@albertkwasiavorTV I think that it's the guy from the video commenting on his own video. :)
This is awesome! We use Lightkey at our church and It's very inspiring to see how other churches use the program especially with Ableton. Thanks!
Thanks 👍. Much love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Great video! I appreciate you mentioning shepherding and eliminating distractions. I feel like it’s easy to get caught up in the production of things instead of leading the congregation to the thrown of God!
We're a church plant based in Ethiopia and wanted to know about how to go with our lighting, this is a lot more than I thought it would be, and for good reason, as you kept mentioning Shepherding the congregation.
Keep doing what you're doing!
God bless
First, okay actually we are planning to add lighting on our church. Thanks for this great vid. God bless!
Been looking for a suitable lighting control software for some time now. Thank you for covering this. Looks like exactly what I am looking for.
Thanks brother. Your awesome!
Nice lighting resources Jake. Learnt a torn. Would love you do more of this on different setup . Thanks alot
Thanks for sharing! Awesome content 👏👌
Love this!
Great video, very inspiring ! THX :D
Thanks brooo! I got some inspiration with the color for worship! 😁
Good stuff! Thank you!
One thing that has helped me with lighting for either the band or speaker is more back light. I will use just some color bars behind everyone and it helps with color and it makes the person on stage not look like a 2-D image.
Great tip
quick question, what are the exact LED washers and warmers are you using for you set up?
Vista is also a pretty cool program for lights. You can create presets for all your lights to make it easy. I love this video and it help me learn a lot so thank you!!🙌🏼🙏🏼
I go to Burke Community Church in Burke Virginia and we use Hog to control all of our lights. We use spotlights, light bars, movers and led fill lights.
This guy is guy at this light thing. Hey do you consult?? 👏👏👏
Thank you so much.
I so love the simplicity of the work. Our church is moving into a new facility and with the way you created the great effect with a low budget, I would love that you help and guide us through. Would appreciate a response from you on how to connect with you. Thanks for all you do for God's kingdom. I celebrate you. Sumbo Akande from Nigeria.
Great vid!!
What haze machine and type of haze do you guys use/recommend?
Do you mind sharing the lights you use? Or any similar once that we can use for tear down setup. Thank you
Help me with list of light equipment I can use for my church
I agree with nearly everything he said.
However, I think it's important for each church to establish their look with their equpiemt. Like for us I never do a full blackout for our cameras. I also don't do super flashing lights for those sesntive to flashing lights.
They great thing about this set up is that it gives layers to lighting which is the most important thing to creating dynamics. When you have mulitple layers, you can have those layers doing different things at the same time.
What is the DMX interface that you guys use or recommend for LightKey?
We use multitracks and they are all set to 120bpm even if they are different tempos. How can I set it to their original tempo so I can sync the effects?
would love to have more contents like this. Been up with your page for awhile now no contents on lighting. well-done tho really nice work you doing
Thanks, great content. We use lightkey and our worship team uses Multitracks, and our video is through ProPresenter. Multitracks does cueing to control the lights and lyrics with PP,but we haven't gotten into that yet. What are the benefits of Ableton Live over using Multitracks to cue?
Hi I was thinking we needed for screen was a video wall which is very expensive, what is the screen you used?
Thanks for Good video
I have a question, is this program use for olny mac? or can use with windows?
What is the size/dimensions of the screen? Also, rear projection?
Thank you very much. That was great. Do you have any videos on how you created the scenes in Lightkey? There are not many videos on that subject and you seem to have some great knowledge on that subject.
We’ve got an online course on it in Worship Tech School.
This is so good. One quick question how do you control the philip hue?
I am requesting to know about the screen used on the stage .. how it works and how can I get it ... What is it made of ....and how does that projection happen on the screen
Me too!
If I may ask what type of spot lights did you used, thanks
Do you guys have links for the lights and trusses you use? Also thanks for being such a great resource for churches with modern media!
Any response to the question ?
Good question wish they would list them!
It looks great!! congrats! can you tell me the name of the lighting software you are using please?
What kind of truss warmer are you using? This looks great on screen
I have a question, lightkey is like a plugin that runs inside a daw?
🔥🔥🔥
What haze machine are you using?
Amazing video..which band light do you use mate.thanks
What is the name of the custom screen you used please
Are the ledwall and lights linked automatically?
What is the name of the console used in the video?
good content
hope you keep update :)
hello... just a quick fyi:your LINK to WORSHIP MINISTRY TOOLKIT isn't working. Thank you
Where's all the super cool video transitions from the last video? Haha
Great video as always!
Any chance you can post Links to the trusses you used? Thanks!
@jake. need gelp plz guys, downloaded lightkeyinstaller for a windows machine, but it reads as a pkg extension. can i email u?
Do you use a water based haze machine?
Can you please all the lighting that you use? Thank you
Hi, are those led lights with purple light are black lights???
My church lighting setup: Rogue R2X Wash, Rogue R1 Wash, COLORdash 18 Par, COLORdash 7 Par, ETC Source Four Par, Vista 3 EX Console.
It’s very great presentation but it will be better for u if u make your control type to fade horizontally. Right click, control type then fade horizontally. It will create a smooth transition.
Do you use a controller or do you use the computer control your lights?
What projector do you guys use?
What color is your screen? Do you have consultation services for lighting?
i will never strobe lights for a worship service that is too distracting
everything else i love.
@lighting pro is it church or a rock concert pretending to be religion.
Do you have a link to the lights you used?
I use Jands Vista software to control lighting. Would similar concepts work in Vista? How do you pick theme colors for the new songs like "Move"? Thanks.
Just experiment with it, colors don't always have to match the song it's just a matter of choosing colors that match the speed or tempo of it
What's the daw that your use?
I need your help, I'm call to design a church but where to start
I'm curious if it's a challenge for you to get even lighting on your vocalists faces with only the 2 ellipsoidals on either side of the stage? I might be interested in implementing this setup in our auditorium as the front lighting we use now washes out our background, much to my dismay.
It works great. The biggest challenge is the angle is too much from the side putting them on those trusses but it’s our only option with this portable setup.
Tq bro.. Im from malaysia protestant church..
Can you add setlists to this software? Like if I wanted to make it easy for my volunteers to just simply hit a button for the next scene (song)?
Yeah setting up cues is really easy and you could arrange them in order of the service.
What software did you use?
Do you change your lighting when you speaker gets on stage to deliver the message?? What does your lighting setup look like for other "functions" during a typical worship service??
Yeah, we just keep the front spots on and then we change the led's to an amber scene.
@@Churchfront what are the ellipsoidals you’re using?
Great videos brother. I wish there were more tutorials for Lightkey. I’m new to lighting and because I’m either behind the drums or leading worship, my time for learning Lightkey and how to program lights is at a minimum.
Please who knows the software he used
How much does a lighting setup like this cost?
What type of lights are used for the stage wash?
www.fullcompass.com/prod/288130-blizzard-colorise-exa-12x15w-rgbawuv-led-par-with-anyfi?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImLOJ15eB5AIVDo_ICh068wdcEAQYASABEgK6-vD_BwE
What are the ellipsoidals are y'all using?
@churchfront
Pls how do you control house lights in the software? Are they also wired through dmx?
For house lights you would need to connect them through dimmers so that you can control them via DMX
@@dakota.lights Thanks for that
Hello , let me know what is your application for designing
Can you give more info about the screen, or post a link to more info about it?
ruclips.net/video/QJnoYagWYrE/видео.html
what's the video editing software you guys use for this video
Final cut pro
What kind of software did you use?
Lightkey
A little over the top for church.
How much does it cost
At the other church I was designing at we had 18 martin moving spots, 20 martin moving washes, 42 chauvet professional led strips for media content during worship, 6 arri led washes, 9 source 4 lekos for front light, 2 arri led washes for band light all ran off of a grand ma 2 full size
Dakota Robledo i have a lot of stage light for sell with fair price (170 units)Do you want them.
Damn bro, that's a crazy high end set up
About how much investment are we talking about for the 4 vertical truss setup including controller and software ?
Can’t remember off the top of my head but all the links are in the toolkit
We have five up lights and 100 people on the regular lol. Y’all’s “small church” and mine are totally different
Is there any solution for a church with only pc's?
ADJ Mydmx3.0
Eclipse DMX
what dmx interface
do you use?
Hello my name is Ernest Allen. I’m a member at Templo Ebenezer Church in a village In Mexicali Baja California Mexico.
We’re trying to get together a Sound and Video system. Would really like to speak to you if possible.
... because strobes are FUN ... until someone has a seizure. O.O
Kevin McD that’s why you put a warning on the screen before the service which takes all control out of your hands as they have been given a heads up
This would be much better if you used a photo realistic virtual software like “Capture”. It’s 3 dimensional so it’s easier to visualize what you’re talking about
Here, in Brazil, this is soo expensive
Why would you want to worship lights?
I'm so distracted by the alignment of dude's glasses
put top plates on the truss to stop colour flood on the ceiling...will look 100,000,000,000,000,000 times better
Wow great idea. Lol never thought of that but you’re totally right!
@@Churchfront if you do decide to do this...up load a video..would love to see tge result...paint underside black to minimise reflection too
Too distracting for worship looks like a concert. Maybe calm down on the flashing light
"Emotional shepherding" riiiiiiight....
Our sense of sight has no impact on emotion?
Looks like a concert hall and not a CHURCH! An idea to bring in the young! End time lapse in church!
14 lights.
We are looking to get 3 or 4. All stage wash.
No one at our church wants it to look like a concert. Our people on stage want to actually be able to see the faces they are singing with or talking to.
Have no idea how churches afford all this gear.
Looks good. Unfortunately thats not church brother. Its a rock show theatre. Jesus' message doesnt require colored lights and smoke machines.
That being said.... great vid.
poor kid
One thing that the bible says is that we are the light of the world. Therefore turn on the lights, no need for worldly light shows.
