    I installed hood struts, blow off valve adaptor, Steeda rear sway bar, and a Steeda strut tower brace, KandN filter for the intake and cabin air filter. I am looking at doing a intercooler and cold air intake.

    • @wvhillbille9458
      @wvhillbille9458 Год назад +2

      @@ShawnFerret It did. I put the sway bar on the middle hole it made a huge difference. The Steeda shock tower brace is so much better; the twist is gone; the ford strut tower brace is flimsy and junk.

    We don't even get to hear or see the new setup? BOO! Looks pretty cool but it would be nice to witness the results. (Humble request) Also, some info on the catch can would be helpful... which can you choose and why, connections, hose routing, mount location, how well it works, etc. Ya put so much time in making these vids, I'd think you would want to share what you have learned...? Just saying. Thanks.

      I know, I dropped the ball! This isn’t my car. It belongs to a friend who lives in another state, so I don’t have the luxury of going back and taking more video until I visit with him again. We were a bit pressed for time when working on it. The catch can was a used piece from another Explorer build and given to us by Fenfab when we picked our parts up. There were no real choices involved since the hose lengths and fittings were already installed it would only really mount/route/fit in one way. I’m sorry we chose not to detail that part.

    • @ShawnFerret
      @ShawnFerret  Год назад +1

      I don’t think there is access from the bottom. We haven’t tried it yet but my assumption would be just pull the y-shaped intake tube and filter out in one piece. The connections are all easy to access and there is one bolt holding it in. It would probably take 5 minutes to pull the whole tube. I will ask Brett @Fenfab next time I talk to him and see if there are any alternatives.
