- Did we really just speak to a ghost/spirit? Over 9 years, we have had some belief-challenging moments in Z Ward (Ward for the criminally insane). Twice during an Estes session, we have appeared to connect and communicate with somebody there... this is the third and most amazing of all our sessions. It left us all trying to rationalise what just happened!?
We are not presenting this as proof that ghosts exist; after all how do you do that? We are only sharing some curious moments during this investigation. What you make of it is what you make of it.

Wow, that Estes Session was crazy. That is actually amazing. The fact that it doesn't happen a lot to you ladies in like having a full blown conversation with a spirit back to back makes this more compelling
We get the odd little thing, but this was more like we made a call and somebody finally picked up. Wasn't expecting it, wasn't ready for it, and drove home trying to rationalise it. Three times in all these years have we had ever had this and we do around 8 tour investigations a week as well as the travelling Kag and me do. Either way Robert has his own playlist on Spotify now 😂👻

It is not our usual video, but a tour with the general public, who aren't there to research but just to try and experience something. It wasn't filmed with the purpose of RUclips in mind, but took us all by surprise and was intriguing enough for me to put it up. If this was a true connection... it is was definitely worth sharing. Hi girls that was truly amazing. I believe that certain people seem to be more susceptible to spirits than others, say with a closed mind. I have had quite a few encounters with ghosts that I have been unable to explain. Literally last night my wife was in the shower and the door next to the bathroom a spare room used as a walk in dressing room has a light on a timer that shines through the rooms window into a cat enclosure for our cats at night . The cats were in the hall way with me and I could see the light shining though the gap at the bottom of the door. When clear as can be I saw a dark shadow move from left to right across the gap under the door like someone walking across the doorway. Thinking for a moment that one of our rag doll cats was inside then seeing the both of them sitting in the hall way I swung the door open expecting to be confronted with an intruder only to find nothing there. I tried moving back and forth to see if I could recreate what I saw with no luck. So yet another weird unexplained thing I've seen. Your video tonight was like you were having a conisation with someone in the room with you. Not broken words like we normally see with the broken radio. Very impressive and good thinking to give her a sneaky test to see if she could hear you.🤣🤣Excellent work it was very intriguing.👍🏻👍🏻

I've found your channel not long ago, and binge watch your investigations since. I mostly enjoy the history and architecture, and of course don't mind if anything intriguing happens 😉
I was always very sceptical about all the toys that are used by paranormal investigators, but i think you may have changed my mind 😉 The session with Monica can't be explained as coincidence. It realy makes you think. Thank you Alison and Keg for another great video x

Rational vs I just can't explain this. It is why it took nearly 8 months for me to put it up. They were genuine people on a tour who didn't actually believe in ghosts, and she definitely couldn't hear, I made sure of that because I want to know if anything is happening is real too. I drove home that night very confused lol. We have done the Estes day in day out for years, and only 3 times has it turned to being almost on a telephone to somebody. I still wonder if she tranced and was channelling rather than hearing the ghostbox. I am pursuing that line of research at the moment :D

It was certainly intriguing Judith and had me puzzling over it.
Nope you can't guarantee 100% the person can't hear the questions you are asking. The people asking the question are asking the questions with raised voice where it echo's. I would like to hear the recording from the box, are you able to post it please.
I am not going to argue Paul, as being a rational person myself, that would be my first thought too, and as you saw, it was. In fact it has taken since Sept last year, for me to consider putting it up. It wasn't recorded (biggest regret, trust me) as it wasn't a proper investigation situation. It was simply a tour with guests. These four lovely ladies had come from QLD and never investigated before. The tour is more about introducing them to the equipment and then just going fishing and having a play with it.
We sound louder than we actually were, as we were close to the camera, she is a fair distance off. Could she have heard? Who knows. She certainly had nothing to gain from pretending. Personally, if we did make contact, I really don't think this was coming from the GhostBox anyway. If anything, she appeared to trance out. However, a few puzzling points for me...
1) As you saw, I tested, more than once (you only see once), to see if she could hear and then took it off her quickly at the end to test the volume myself. It was loud!
2) She came up with a song, that for some reason I couldn't get out of my head the night before when there. Singing in the rain is not a song I like or would have on my playlist, for it to be in my head. She didn't know this and you can hear my surprise when the penny finally dropped.
3) She came up with a name from upstairs that we have had before (it fits with history she did not have knowledge of). I had that similar session only 2 weeks earlier which, again she didn't know about. Only this time the gentleman was a little more aggressive, so it petered out.
4) This session was longer than you see in the video, sitting unmoving for so long would be difficult. We are a breed of fidgeters.
We do on average around 8 investigations with guests a week, each time introducing them to this experiment. Only 3 times in all these years, have we had this happen.
I still puzzle on it all today, but for those there, it was certainly a curious night. Sadly, I can't give you much more than that.
I do understand your point of view though and I am sure others will have the same, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to answer. 😊

This one alas wasn't recorded as it was under a tour situation not a proper investigation one. These girls had come down from QLD and never investigated before. We weren't expecting anything to happen as it had been a quiet night up until then. I still don't believe this came out of the ghost box though, and I still have trouble rationalising it myself. If anything I think she tranced out and possibly doing a form of channelling 🤔
I have tried recording the ghost box before and it was horrible to listen back to. Maybe I will try it again when travelling away with Kag, as we have different voice recorders now 😊
That was the most amazing Estes Session I have ever seen. Great video. I would love to take a tour of that place, but I live in Detroit. It's a bit far away.😅
Why was that guy talking so loudly? At the beginning.
During Estes method you don't have to talk loudly to get responses.
He is talking loud as as some people just are naturally loud. In all honesty, this one was a difficult one for me to put up and it took 6 months as a rational person to do so, knowing it would come under fire.
This wasn't a controlled investigation, this was just a tour, showing guests some of the equipment and a couple of techniques. It is very different from what Kag and me do when we travel. These 4 girls were down from QLD (different State), and thought it would be a fun thing to do, they had never done one before. The reason I went ahead and put it up is because at the end of the day, if this Estes was for real... then it is worth noting. These girls had no motive, as they were fairly sceptical and I rarely ever put up tour videos. People are going to have to make their own decisions on this one as I would question too, if I wasn't familiar with the location, the history and I hadn't been there at the time. So no condemnation for any scepticism from me lol.
What intrigued me is that she came out with things she couldn't have known and we don't have anywhere... but, something there would have known the information. The other thing was the angle she was sitting and lack of movement for 40 minutes (this is a short version). Most people would have fidgeted or shifted weight for comfort. It was more like she tranced out and to be honest, I do wonder whether it was more channelling and wasn't out the ghostbox at all. Could it be that the focus on the constant clacking and chatter, can put some people's brainwaves into a type of meditative state? I am running experiments on this and how lucky am I that I have so many people to keep paterns on!
I did have my doubts and sneaked up behind her and grabbed the ghost box off her before she could change the volume... as you saw. It was loud (I always like to deafen them! lol). I also like to think I have become very cluey over the 20 years of conducting tours, to know when people are after attention... but, there was something very different about this one. I don't know what else to say, and I puzzled on it for days afterwards. My rational vs 'WTF just happened' mode lol. I honestly haven't got any answer for anybody on this one. People need to make of it what they will as I knew it would be a risk to put it up. 🤷♀️

@@haunted-horizons it was very interesting with the women, no doubt for all the reasons you mentioned. I just cannot understand why that man was so loud. I don't think if you believe in spirits that they're deaf. I will never understand or completely trust when someone is yelling questions at another especially when they're in ear shot. I've seen Estes sessions where one is in one room and the other steps into the hallway, then asks questions. The person asking the questions does not need to be loud to get responses. 🙂
Haha, so I totally overshared. Yeah, I did joke about that with his group on the tour and pointed out they weren't deaf. I think people get excited when they do it for the first time lol.

Ah, Z Ward.....one of my favourite locations.....when it speaks....when it really opens up, what you can be shown is amazing. Every time I go there I am amazed by this location. Really gets you thinking if it's just a coincidence with random replies on estes but some of the these replies are too much of a coincidence that I'm swayed more to believe they were intelligent replies from lost souls, absolutely love the estes sessions
