For my purposes, lag is gone on this pack and Addams too. Once the rest of them are updated, I'd love not to hear about this anymore. lol Also, I think the Zen digital-only tables definitely have a smaller ball, where Attack from Mars and Addams seem to have a more "regulation size" ball. But it doesn't bother me or anything.
What's up Papa Brad!!!?? Good to see ya here, buddy! Thank you for watching. And I totally agree - not gonna lie man, I think this is AT@Games best release yet.
Comparing different versions of the same table would be a very cool video to watch. I got an email regarding this pinball pack and mistook it for being the first Zen pack available on the Legends HD.
I have only played Back to the Future, which looks great, plays great, and was fun. I'll be checking out the others as work and time allow. BTW... Thoughts on Addams Family... Reduced lag= fun? Better SSF 😮?
I haven't played Addam's Family, Dale - I'm afraid I can't comment. That said, the Lag fix should CERTAINLY help, as I know it was criticized heavily. And man - I didn't even mention the Haptics and SSF on these new tables!! They're fantastic! They feel and sound GREAT!! It's a HUGE deal and deserved mention - my bad!
@digitalvictory8266 I played Addams Family, and I found it played a lot better (to me). The SSF sounded more robust. It grabbed my son and I attention right away.
These look great thanks for the showcase. I'd like to see latency measurements for the 1080p. because as a professional musician I deal with digital latency daily, I'm very sensitive to it and generally past 40ms is intolerable. I also notice it in hardcore shmups, most good ones are 1 or 2 frames of latency (33ms @60fps). Before the fix Zen were around 130-140ms, thats over 8 frames, and now its down to 95ish which is still nearly 6 frames of latency. I don't feel anything like that on the 1080p version It feels like its in the 40-50ms range. Resolution is not the issue of course, this is a Zen problem. clearly they are porting to these arm processors instead of re-coding. You see the same problems with any compatibility layer like proton. whatever middleware solution they are running to covert x86 code to these arm processors clearly has inherent latency.
Had to wait for Pinball FX versions of some tables like Addams Family, Twiglet Zone (Pun intended), Bride of Pinbot and a few others. All worth the wait but NONE for PSVR sadly 😞. Maybe they will start up again with tables for FX2VR but FX has took over. Not holding my breath!!

2k graphics? Disappointing would you not agree? My understanding is the game was not optimized for the processor that's in the 4K pinball machine. So they had to dumb it down to improve flipper lag with many of their games. Bummer. Keeping me from pulling the trigger on the atgames 4k pin.
Disappointing that in that I wish it were 4K, certainly. But if that is what it takes to make it run as beautifully as it does now, I'll accept that. I just played the real Jaws pinball machine a few weeks ago. This one by Zen IS NOT JAWS. I am not sure where they came up with that table, but nothing on it is from the real table out today.
Correct, Brian. THIS Jaws table originated back in 2017, part of the Universal Pack for Pinball FX3. MY review is of this same Universal Pack that was just released for the Legends Pinball 4K. There is no connection to the recent Stern Jaws table. They are completely unrelated.
It's not uncommon for vpins to not look the same as the identical title for physical tables. It often comes down to different companies, who has the rights, which one comes first, and who can do what with which. Or if an independent developer wants to make their own thing to let others use it for free. Which often results in multiple versions. Zen isn't obligated to make a copy of a table from another company, especially one that came out later than the one Zen came up with first.

There's nothing really wrong with AtGames hardware. Their non-Zen tables run fine with no lag. In this case there was apparently something specific with the Zen tables software that caused this specific problem when interacting with AtGames hardware. Anyway, glad it's fixed.
