    Thankyou sir. I’ve been struggling with this cool strum for a long time. Now I need to practice,practice ,practice. 👍🏼

      It won't take long if you focus on it even for just a few minutes each day

    Thank you! This was really helpful and encouraging! Especially the part where you muted the strings and demonstrated several times simple and slow. I picked up my first uke exactly 45 days ago during quarantine summer 2020. I'm trying to perfect "Learning to Fly" by Tom Petty and I think this strum is the missing piece I need. Much appreciated.

      You're very welcome, that's not a song I know but I'll have a listen and see if I can think of any advice that may help you.

    Beginner here. Great video. Very clear instructions and demonstrations. Your tip about keeping the thumb up was very helpful. I was looking for how to play triplets for the song Perfect by Ed Sheeran and this works (though I need a lot of practice to get my triplets up to tempo). Thanks for posting!

    Great explanation of the triple strum, but the chords you are using are A7 and Dm (not D7).

    • @UkuleleGo

      You're correct Will, I recorded 2 tutorials back to back and was using D7 in the first. Thanks for pointing it out

    i have no idea if someone will answer this comment, but what song is this if it is a song? i know what it is i’m my head but i cannot remember the title!

    • @UkuleleGo
      @UkuleleGo  3 года назад

      Hi Lizzy, it's been 3 years since I recorded this but I'm not sure I had a song in mind when I was playing it, it I just picked a couple of chords that sounded good.
      That said, there will be plenty of songs out there that use these chords

    I can not understand the second cord ! Would you give me a cord diagram ? I'm a begainner.

    • @UkuleleGo
      @UkuleleGo  6 лет назад

      atiqurrahman tushar Sure, it's just a D minor. I accidentally refer to it as a D7 in the video but it's a D minor. Top to bottom that would be 2 2 1 0

  • @bingcro
    @bingcro Год назад +1

    that d7 i think is a dm

    • @UkuleleGo
      @UkuleleGo  Год назад

      It is yeah, I'd just recorded a tutorial before this with a d7 in it and for some reason d7 was still stuck in my brain
