Brilliant Paul, well done for emphasising the importance of independently moving the fingers. I had made the mistake before watching your video of simply exploding the fingers together. You have encouraged me to start again working in the order you illustrated.
Glad it was helpful!
Very clear tutorial for a great strum. I got uke, Babe!

cant wait to incorporate the rasgueado into "I got uke babe". Great Tutorial!
thanks very much
Paul the pieces of music you played were beautiful. This was a relatively easy strum to demonstrate, but as you note I can see it taking quite some time to master. I'll get started straight away! Thank you for the demonstration.
I got uke babe. I'm a recent subscriber from the US. Love the channel.

Thanks Judi. Its a piece called farruca by Gerald Schwertberger. Good luck with the RAS !
Great tutorial. I'll add the ras to my practice routine!
thanks Bruce
Thank you. Really helpful. It’s musical terms like this that trip me up when trying to play a piece!
you're most welcome. thanks for listening
Great lesson - thank you! I hope we’ll see more of these. Also, I wanted to let Paul know that I’m taking a Uke class on Udemy and the instructor said barre chords are pronounced bar or bar-rey! 😎
ha Kelly you are my HERO ! BAR-REY !!!!!!
Thanks Paul - I love “fancy” flourishes to things, and I can now see how it’s done (which is sadly a long way from actually being able to do it, but, hey, that’s what practice is for!)
I love a bit of 'fancy' - who doesn't !
Ole!

You are not just flicking your 4 fingers, you're doing a strum pattern with it, wish you would explain what you're doing exactly,
Could you do a tutorial on a whole song that used rasgeado and the finger picking
Maybe we need to do an updated video going more indepth!
@@AnarchyInTheUkuleleTV that would be awesome! It's hard to find detailed tutorials on flamenco explaining everything in detail, everyone seems to emphasize one the four finger strum, and not on everything else , chords, fingerpicking, and strum pattern
My friend - I, too, have found anarchy in the ukulele. Love what you’re doing. Please check out my style when you can.
Much love
Thank you! Love your work!
I Got Uke Babe!
