Aw thank you so much! I find that I really enjoy colourwork socks like that. Maybe I need to join the Colourwork Cuff Sock Club everyone is going on about. 😄❤️
On screen, they do look identical. Take it to the sunlight and see how they look that way. Red is such a beautiful color and so many shades of red, but I think you are safe with your two different dye lots. Thank you so much for your podcasts, I do so much enjoy them and always looking forward to your new episodes.
Thank you so much! ❤️ Yes, I've taken the balls of yarn out in the sun and they seem fine as well. It's good to know DeRerum Natura seems to be pretty consistent over their dye lots.
The fairy ring socks are just gorgeous! Love the colours you used 😊 I also love the Beatrix cardigan pattern. I could see myself making it at some point but have no idea when, so I’m excited to see yours!
Thanks! ❤️ The Beatrix is such a nice pattern, a bit of a statement piece I think. 😊 I hope you get to make it some day. So many beautiful patterns so little time. 😂
Absolutely delightful! The sound and video were great! Thank you so much for the Richard Osman recommendation earlier. I'm just finishing The Bullet That Missed. Such super fun reads! My girls and husband love them too. I'm planning to make a sweatshirt type knit this winter as well. I'm currently working on the Lova as a turtleneck. Happy early birthday 🎂!
You are not out of practice. Loved the bin pause. Your sitting is so beautiful. Camera is fine , sound is great. I am knitting the Vilma top by the Gregoria Fibers in Tuku wool. Love the book choices I have been going through the Thursday Murder Club. And Kate Atkinson books. Thank you! Have a lovely Birthday in the Beatric=x sweater!
The jacket is beautiful. Burgundy colored cap, mittens and scarf would be a beautiful accompaniment to this jacket. You couldn't buy this anywhere in Maryland (USA) nor the value of said jacket. Knitting is so satisfying and I'm a new 73 year old knitter. Why have I waited so long. I crocheted all these years, but I'm happy as a pig in mud on a hot day to discover this art form. It is no way a craft but an art in my humble opinion lol! I enjoy your podcasts and enjoy your honest opinions the most. Please continue on with your podcasting so I can learn. I appreciate you without you even knowing me. I fond value in your podcasts. Thank you for sharing. Ms. Jo
You can try photographing the Cyranno skeins and viewing them in black and white to see the difference., On camera, viewing the yarn, they look identical. Gorgeous color and fabulous pattern which is on my to do list
I did try with the camera in black and white, and yes, they also look identical to me. I've faded them out over a few rounds when changing skeins just to be safe but it seems alright so far. 😊
Really loving all those marled blues 💙 Apologies if you've already come across it but I just finished the book "Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone" and really loved it, highly recommend 😁
Happy New Year Aude, its great to see all of your knitting. So sorry about the shipping situation. How is it that we can get all the junk from Amazon, Temu, etc from China for little shipping $$ but not beautifully created small business products, ugh!! You will look so lovely in your new Miles Shirt Jacket with those incredible colorwork socks out on your country walks, hope you can capture a pic!!
So glad to see you back!! a lovely return, Aude! I also think the red Cyrano balls do look identical, but this is certainly from the screen. Gorgeous projects as ever. See you soon ❤
In my experience rerum natura has pretty consistent dye lots. I would use both in the body, but maby start using the new yarn like your fading (like switch between the old and the new yarn a couple of rows) and then just use it as you normally would 😊
So many beautiful makes 😍 For your sock heels, it looks like you are “rowing out” A tip I have heard is to change your needle size down when working your purls stitches only. Hope that helps 😊 Have a great day 💓
Très bonne année Aude! J’adore vos chaussettes mauves!
I love the mushroom socks in those colors! And what a nice story about your brown bear! Thanks for the German you tube channel. Good for my German. I was surprises about the beautiful madder-colour. Great hat!
Lovely episode❤ I am knitting the Eva Cardigan at the moment and not loving the process🙈 I don’t have a basic, neutral cardigan so I’m doing it for the finished object. The mushroom socks are really beautiful!
Again you look beautiful! I love that sweater that you’re wearing. I’m sorry about the EU’s new policies. I wonder if small business associated with Fiber can form collectives that can afford to take on the new policies that the EU mandated. We have collectives here for the flower industry that help small growers A LOT. I always enjoy having you talking to me as I go about my morning.💗💗
Thanks! ❤️ That's a really good idea. I need to investigate that more. Collectives might already exist that I don't know about or some might be in the process of being created as a result of the new regulations. Thanks for the advice. ❤️
You have been so very productive, Bravo ! Good sound and image, nothing to worry about. 👍 Happy New Year to you, your spouse, your family and all your loved ones. May 2025 bring health, peace, joy, love in all its forms and plenty of time for creativity.🥂
Happy New Year! Always love seeing all of your knitting, but for reading - have you tried Ruth Ware? I’ve just borrowed The Golden Spoon from the library app:)
The Stitch markers are just so beautiful. I have tried many times to order them but every time I log on it says out of stock. Any suggestions on when to order?
Aude, my friend, I would alternate the skeins of the red yarn. Color is the only thing I see clearly, being legally blind, and I see a difference. It’s a pain, but less painful than frogging your work😐
Happy New Year. I am not in the EU, but I am confused as to why you can’t sell to people in Northern Ireland ? Ireland is in the EU, but Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, just like Wales and Scotland.
Yes, that is true. This is sadly yet another consequence of Brexit and the powers-that-be’s inability to come up with a fair decent way to manage the Ireland - Northern Ireland border. While large businesses have the resources to adapt to the ever changing trading regulations, small businesses often don’t and have to stop trading entirely, though hopefully only temporarily.
Aude! Those fairy ring socks are stunning 😍 I love them!

Thank you! ❤️ I'm so glad you're enjoying the Richard Osman books! The film based on the first book should come out at some point in 2025. Can't wait!

Thank you! ❤️ I just had a look at the Vilma top. It's really lovely! Might need to add it to my Raverly favourites. 😄
That should be knitting not sitting

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! ❤️ I'm so glad you picked up knitting and are enjoying it as much. It is wonderful! ❤️

Aw thank you! ❤️ And yes, this whole shipping / regulations thing doesn't make a lot of sense...
So glad to see you back!! a lovely return, Aude! I also think the red Cyrano balls do look identical, but this is certainly from the screen. Gorgeous projects as ever. See you soon ❤

That sounds like a good plan actually. Fade it out rather than alternate throughout the entire thing. Thanks! ❤️

Thanks! It’s a really fun pattern to knit! 🍄🟫

Thank you! I know what you mean. Sometimes, the process is not the best but the finished object is great to have and wear. ❤️
Funny I am knitting on my Miles Jacket while watching your podcast
Oh yay! I hope you're enjoying it! ❤️
I just ordered the Miles Shirt Jacket kit and it is to arrive Monday. Thanks for the great knitting tips for this project! 💜🧶
How wonderful! It is such a lovely project. I hope you'll enjoy knitting on it. ❤️
Marmalade is the best!!! I eat some daily also!
It really is! 😃🍊
Happy New Year ❤ absolutely beautiful knitting projects 💙🧦🧣🧤🧥
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too! ❤️

Happy New Year! Always love seeing all of your knitting, but for reading - have you tried Ruth Ware? I’ve just borrowed The Golden Spoon from the library app:)
I haven't tried Ruth Ware! I'm going to have a look. Thanks for the recommendation! ❤️
@ I only do some of hers as I’m a wimp about scary but I’ve enjoyed many of them and my friends love them
The Stitch markers are just so beautiful. I have tried many times to order them but every time I log on it says out of stock. Any suggestions on when to order?
The next shop update is on February 9th.
Aude, my friend, I would alternate the skeins of the red yarn. Color is the only thing I see clearly, being legally blind, and I see a difference. It’s a pain, but less painful than frogging your work😐
Yeah, I feared I might have to. It's okay. I'll see when I get there and if I have to alternate skeins, it'll only be for a few rows.
Happy New Year. I am not in the EU, but I am confused as to why you can’t sell to people in Northern Ireland ? Ireland is in the EU, but Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, just like Wales and Scotland.

@ I hope this changes for you. The items that you sell are beautiful. Thank you for the clarification.
I thought on camera could see a difference in your colours . Top looked darker . I would alternate in case anyhow. 👍
