One important thing about trust is 100% gives you the full stat bonus, however when a friend uses your unit they get half the trust %, which is why it can go to 200% to let friends get the full bonus. If you are working on trust for your core operators, you only need to take them to 100% unless you also want to make them your support units.

I want to clear up one misconception about trust, 0-100% trust affects stats, 101-200% trust only affects voice lines and data in the info tab of the operators. If you are a f2p player and only want to farm trust for stats, then it's not necessary to go beyond 100% trust.

Also, for some groups of operators you can unlock special furniture for your dorms (1 item per group) if you reach an average trust of 100% for all those operators in the group ... but if you don't have all of them (for example only 3 out of 5), you can still get that furniture item by increasing the three you have to a sum of (in the exampel) 500% Trust. Also, getting to 100% isn't that hard even through the base alone if you're patient enogh.
1 point that wasn't in the video but helped me a lot early on was knowing when and what benefits I get at what stages of trust. Like, from 1-100% trust is all you actually need to get the full stat bonuses from trust. Getting to 200% trust after 100% is only for having their trust stats transfer when borrowed by a friend, and for the info unlocking in their profile files. Helped me a lot as a f2p player to know I only need to farm that 100% trust and move on until I get all operators to 100% for the stats.
Not actually for whales only. As F2P player you can actually clear a lot of stages with only 5 operators or less if you have quite a few of raised strong operators (some of them even trivialize trust farming namely saria, blaze, magallan, sa, etc). Try looking at your autos and see where you can cut some operators you will surprised how much you can ootimize your run. And it's quite fun as well.
5:05 Why not use all 12 operators to farm? I do exactly that - I have a Trust Squad with 12 non-full-trust operators that I use to 3* low stages for materials & supplies farming. Every time an op gets to max trust, I swap out to a new op and replay the stage. It's a fun challenge, and I get trust gains for all 12 ops, no wastage, AND I also get whatever mat/supplies I'm farming, instead of just the ones given by 4-4 or R8-11 or other common trust farm stages. F2P BTW.
Well, it's not a technique for only whales, it's also for f2p players to get maximum trust farming with limited resources. Trust farming is free anyway (aside from spending irl sanity to redo the stage)
Im still confused about Trust farming. First, everyone gets trust in relations to sanity spent. Second, pass the stage with 3 stars. Third, you do not need to deploy the units for them to get trust. My question is, why would you ever use only the minimum amount of operators as possible? I dont understand why you would use only 3 operators when you can use all twelve slots if everyone gets the same amount of trust. I feel like im missing a point about farming.
@@kivatgarnica5969 Kyo (and to anwser the original question, a year later; you want to finish the stage with the least amount of operators so you have empty spaces for operators you want to farm. So if you can finish a stage with a 200 trust SilverAsh for example, it's the best option cause then you can add 11 low level, low trust ops that don't even need to be deployed, just getting the Trust passively)
I use magallan for farming trust, because she almost can beat any stage. if i bring some other operator it make it more easier because that mean i not using magallan alone..
The less ops you use, the more underleveled/unused ops you can bring to gain trust. Of course this didn't matter much if you only need 1 or 2 empty slot, but it useful for mass trust farming. As other commenter said, everyone in the squad gain same amount of trust based on the stage's sanity.
If you go to the Control Center and hit the 'i' info button, it will tell you this, but to get the actual numbers, you have to consult datamined sources.
1 callout and 1 question: Callout: It's worth noting that the operator stat bonuses are only accumulated for the first 100% trust. After 100% the only benefit I'm aware of is contributing to the trust overview for getting dorm decorations. (and for completionism/flexing) Question: What is the exact trust to ambience calculation? The simplest would be 25 trust per 1,000 ambience for assistants and 5 trust per 1,000 ambience for operators. That would be linear with no intercept. I googled this and couldn't find it anywhere.
In regards to my other question I'll pose a hypothetical scenario. Let's say you just upgraded your base to add the 3rd floor. you build the additional factories and trading post and therefore can't afford to build the dorm yet. You assign an operator to be the 3rd floor base assistant. Does that operator gain any trust?

at 100% your operator will get the max stat bonus they can, trust after that is for your support operator. At 100% Trust the operator u send out for support will not have that stat bonus, but at 200% trust, they will have the full stat bonus as support operator too. So in short, 100% max bonus stat for yourself, 200% max bonus stats for your friends too

Nah. That's just being greedy. It's not like trust is an event or milestone. It's just the trust between dokutah and the operator. Also i'm an f2p player. Maximize your trust, it's about 30 levels worth of stats at 100 trust. I'm not sure how that won't interest players
@@noahpanuyass I mentioned this because I also play FGO and their bond system rewards the player that uses a unit over and over again by giving them SQ (an equivalent to Orundum) and they updated the system so you can go beyond the limit it previously had (which was lvl 10) and you can add 1 extra level with a special item that you can buy with a rare currency. Idk, I think it would be a pretty nice update that would be cheered by f2p and p2p alike because who doesn't like when the devs give you free currency by playing the game?
nah f2p can trust farm perfectly fine, i save originim like an idiot as free 2 play so i dont have many meta ops and i still do trust farming, the trick here is you dont need to do 3 ops trust farming everywhere, even if you do 6 ops in a stage you still have 6 slots empty for trust farming :P. atm i have all operators i own at 130+ trust except for siege who i just got of a top op few days ago so she still low (tho she farm her own trust at e1 max already XD)

no, the amount of trust you gain depends on the sanity required of the stage

200% trust lets operators have the trust stat bonus when they are used as Support by your friends
Any trust above 100% will give stat bonuses to operators for your friends when you set them as support units.
You only get the stat bonus on support at 200, no in betweens
