USB Docks has often 60hz limitation for displays (displaylink), so i use USB kvm switch / hub with desktop and work laptop and direct cables to monitor where you can switch display
I have a cheapie (Amazon Basics 6-in-1) one of those that I picked up 'just in case' I ever need one (AND because it was cheap 😝). I've never used it so I have no idea if it does what it claims to competently, but it looks to have some decently robust features for what it cost me. (P/S: And by the way, I've got *t-shirts* that are older than that screw. 🤣)
@@Mattscreative 😂😂😂 Just t-shirts for me (I call them _'The Holiest of Holies'_ 👕), because nothing else I've ever worn has come close to lasting that long.
@@Mattscreative ok thanks, got confused by another video of your talking about the steamdeck I supposed you have it. Thank you anyway :) I will test myself once I got it
Well I got my cable time docking station like your, but for me is working really bad I used his cable to give it power like you suggested with a charger pd of 100w, but I cannot make it work with 2 monitors, only one works and the Ethernet connection doesn't work most of the time, I didn't even tried to use the M2 SSD since already is not performing well, for now it seems a waste of money, did you tried to connect two monitors at the same time?
Plus I can't really tell if the docking station is working with the power or not as I don't see any clear info about it, but I suppose is getting current from the charger

Cool. I have a hub but it's a little wonky with some devices, may not deliver enough power. Most things work though.
Right on

@@MikeBob2023 haha that's epic
Did you tried to use it at all with the steamdeck? does it work? to charge it and connect to a tv to use instead of a "steam deck docking station"?
@@axelsevenone I don’t have a steam deck
