You know yeah there may be more informative videos regarding these docks but your videos are the best my man. Your excitement about the technology and the demos you do are my favorite part!
Does it give charging priority to the connected host laptop? Or does it drop out and re negotiate when you connect other devices to charge? One of the biggest issues i have had with many docks and multi port chargers is as soon as you plug something else in and it re negotiates the power if you are say copying files via the dock it will interrupt the copy. Or even just makes connected monitors go black for a moment.
any charger that have more than 100 watts of charging power is basically "overkill", unless you're charging multiple gaming laptops at once, and still need charging your high capacity power bank.
I just got a ugreen nexode 160w (not the pro) from amazon a few weeks ago. Primary goal is to charge my brother's anker 737 powerbank on the go, OR charge both my early 2010s macbooks (2015 Air and 2011 Pro at 60w each). I could also charge my asus zephyrus gaming laptop at 100w, then charge my s24 ultra at 45w. I really don't have a lot of problems with this charger. Replaced my spigen 100w charger, which didn't have super fast charging support
QUESTION: Are any of the ports Thunderbolt 4? or USBC 10Gb? or 5? This one has power built in, seeing cord at back. So it converts wall AC to DC inside. 8:42 Seeing power sharing. You'll get more power distributed.
This is almost exactly what I was looking for. The only problem is that it costs an arm and a leg and the HDMI/Ethernet ports are quite useless for desktop use. Still a product more for laptops...
@@cassini2469 you caught me. They didn’t ask me to. I was just trying to keep the video as Anker as possible. Which I try to do whether it’s a gift or something I purchased, unless it’s a direct comparison.
This dock makes no sense. It would make a lot more sense with USB 4, a 2.5 or 10 Gbps ethernet port, and the ability to stand up or lay on its side. I would rather buy a seperate desk charger and just keep using my Thunderbolt 4 Dock.

@@Tup3r I appreciate the kind words man. I truly do. Thank you!
Very true, finally found this video where he didn't just show what you can see in the Amazon listing photos and nothing extra.
we need more stuff like this. Pure information and not the fancy transition beautiful lights. ordered straight after seeing this video
Woah. I truly appreciate the feedback. I enjoy making power banks and charging videos, but docks aren’t my strong point. Thank you for making my day!!
Bro called this "Just an Unboxing" .... More than an Unboxing my friend. Thanks for the review.
@@johnboyinfl lol. Just how I see it.

did i hear it right? you have a M1 macbook PRO?
Pretty informative! Thanks mate!
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Josh, was wondering if you could order and try out the power add pro 50000mah power bank? Looks a steal in the UK for 45 pounds.
Will this provide both internet and charge to a device (say a Galaxy tab) via a single usb c cable? Appreciate the video.

Please don't hide the nice 300W at 7:15 just because Anker is giving you gifts.

Does it work with DisplayLink?
13:50 need more docking station videos
For non-techies, can you do a video showing what the wattage is for iphones, ipod, air pods etc.?
It's usually printed on the device, e.g. "5 V 2.4 A" (which would be 12 W.)
Is there static when using the front audio jack while connected to a laptop with ethernet, displays, etc?
So it does or doesnt let you use two different external displays?
Is this thunderbolt or usb c?
im sure Josh will get a pixel 9 eventually right?
@@cooper1095 nope, google didn’t reach out this year and I can’t afford a new phone right now. All is well. Still love my pixel 8 pro.
@@wwjoshdew darn, but honestly yea. thats ok to stick with last year’s tech
Only hdmi 2.0? On a new product? Come on Anker get with it
Nice ❤
only having HDMI is a bummer
Where do u place these things in ur home? Bcs u have so much 😂
I was really interested in watching this video, but sadly I had to stop due to the blasphemy at 0:40... 😓😓
lol. Sorry bud! I was just joking and trying to get people to comment about it. Lol
Display link requires a custom chip in the dock, the M1 chips suck ass re: displays
