a space alien looking little creature, the Palmato Gecko, lives in the sand dunes of the Namib Desert in the African nation of Namibia, hiding buried in the sand during the day, coming out to feed at night. After finding its burrow we got a daylight closeup look at some of this desert lizard's unique features.
