The tactical benefit of a backwards baseball cap simply put is aerodynamics. Seagal needs every advantage to be able to move faster. They tested this in a wind tunnel and there is far less drag when Seagal is moving at full speed.

So unless the film producers wanted to pay the WWE for the rights to let Austin drop the Stunner on someone, he can't do it. You'll notice a lot of wrestlers in films don't do their signature moves for that same reason.

The Contra guys are based on Stallone and Schwarzenegger as Rambo and commando or they have terminator characters in double dragon two as well as Stallone looking guys or how Jean-Claude Van Damme clearly influenced Mortal Kombat with blood sport or Clint Eastwood dirty harry is in pretty much everything western ever.

A "weird history" comedy podcast recently did three episodes on the entire life of Steven Seagal. Of course, he lied about all his accomplishments and he's never been in the military, CIA or run a dojo, but the mafia connections were surprising, and the absurd extent of his lies and his insanely poor judgment can be pretty hilarious. He once challenged a real martial artist, who choked Steven out so bad that he crapped his pants. So if you want some backstory on how this man became such a bizarre disaster, feel free to check it out! ruclips.net/video/efGxdzCzUus/видео.html

Notification for Steven Seagal's fans. Jesse Enkamp "The Karate Nerd" took a flight to Dubai to learn from the legend. Sensei Steven taught him not only deadly hits to the throat, but more important his spiritual philosophy. Jesse posted two videos on his channel: 1st "I Spent 24 Hours With Steven Seagal" and 2nd "Training With Steven Seagal For 1 Day".
You can learn that having the hands on the majestic belly is the actual fighting stance.
My special shout out to the sensei's human practice dummy. This job involves pain.
