      The reviewer is an idiot. The lid was designed that way because you'd be drinking hot liquid directly from it. if you want to put the all liquid in a glass, just remove the lid.

    Tip: if you want more than 20hrs Hot Beverage, pre-fill with boiling water.
    Give 30 minutes, remove water and add your favorite Hot Beverage.
    6 ice cubes kept my Cold Beverage stayed cold for 2 days.
    It's engineered to drip out.
    If the stain is too much, ask Zojirushi for a replacement. If you ask nicely, they give you one free.

    I think that "dribble effect" is there on purpose, but even if it's not I personall really like it. I don't have to worry that I'll accidentally take too big sip of too hot tea.

      I believe that's an actual intentional design, for the reason you stated, as they do have specific bottles for cold drinks that has a vented spout for smooth flow of liquid. smooth flow of hot coffee into your mouth when you try to drink from it will just leave you with burnt lips and tongue.

      You could also drink whilst on a moving vehicle so you don’t get accidental splashes onto your face😅

    Zojirushi for the win! Been using for years and its great. Compared to America thermoses they are much more streamlined and lighter but keeps hot drinks just as warm for the same amount of time. The dribble is designed so the liquid doesn't rush out. Also if you pour liquids out at too steep of an angle the liquid will cover both openings making it hard for the fluid to come out smoothly (same idea as why it's hard to pour water out of a bottle upside down...you get turbulent flow)

  • @vennie951
    @vennie951 2 года назад +12

    To show us the dribbling, maybe next time use a colored liquid thanks.

    I bought this three years ago to replace the Hydroflask on a trip to Europe for the fact that it was thinner and fits in my backpack side pocket better and because of the one hand operation. I think it's one of the better cups out there. My wife still uses the bigger brother in orange as her daily driver and won't go anywhere without it. But alas, I have replaced mine with Camelbak Shute with magnetic lid... I not only like the lid staying in place but the built in "grab handle" which I can clip anywhere using my trusty Heroclip.

    I have a klean kanteen insulated tk wide and I love how it has interchangeable lids, the cafe cup pours like this dribbles but they also have a straw one too and a general wide lid... I'd love to see a comparison between them all with weights included. Some other channels have done comparisons but I don't think they have the same level of knowledge and outlook you guys apply when reviewing stuff.

    I just bought one of these drinking glasses last year and it's incredible how warm it is. I traveled to a place with minus 3 degrees last winter. I put boiling water in it for a day, but it was still hot.

  • @Forestwalker111
    @Forestwalker111 8 месяцев назад +1

    Yeah, but it’s designed to be drank from if you’re gonna pour it out into a cup then just take the lid off and it won’t splash everywhere.
    and it sips from just fine as I’m sure you know .

    Wouldn’t you pour it by removing the entire lid so it doesn’t get messy?

    If you're a tea drinker, you should try a ceramic-lined thermos. I didn't notice the metallic taste in my tea until it wasn't there (yuck). Unfortunately there are few ceramic-lined options. I've been using a Bubba Hero 16 oz for years and it's well-insulated and pretty leak-proof (can get dribbly around the mouthpiece as you sip). I'd be interested to see if you all can find some other options.

    Did you weigh this? Zojirushi's site lists the weight of the SM-KHE48 as 0.09 lb/1.44 oz/40.8 g, which seems too light to be correct. Otherwise, great review.

    One thing no one mentions is the fact this does not hold 16 oz. If you fill it to the line Zoji recommends, it's only about 14.5 oz, which can be quite a difference to some people!

      Very untrue! Flat out lie in fact.
      I have four of them are different sizes and volumes, and they all hold exactly what they say they do. I’m not sure if you work for another company or you prefer another company, the point that you wanna sling mud at Zojirushi, but that is a patently untrue claim.
