The note 8 was actually the first note I used. This phone started the trend of using note phones in my family until the note 20 ultra. What was funny is that for me the fingerprint reader was easily accessible for me and I did liked the iris scanner. I was using the S pen frequently, especially for photos or the live message features back then.
Oh wow I can relate it was also my first note device and I absolutely loved it, i thought the S Pen feature was the coolest thing! Oh yeah the iris scanner feature was definitely ahead of its time, it wasn't the best but it worked for the most part and seemed very futuristic.
that's true! but also perhaps if I did regular slow wireless charging rather than fast charging all the time, the battery would last a little longer than 2 hours on basic use cases because fast charging does generate more heat which damages the battery therefore reducing it's lifespan.
That's a good question I have yet to use any of the latest Samsung phones. But I believe with every iteration they have updated both the software and hardware side of things to make the S Pen better. I am upgrading to the latest S24 Ultra soon I will do a more detailed test with the modern S Pen and let you know then stay tuned :)

Note 9 was the best note there was.
Yup they fixed location of fingerprint scanner on the note 9!
Agreed 👍🏾
😢 last one I owned
@suyperb where is the finger print location on the 8? Is it the same as the s8 and s9?
@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 up at the top on the side of the camera. On the 9, it's below and in the middle.
I was shocked to see the 7 years later 😭 time ks really going tok fast, i thought i had a 3 year old phone...
You should seriously try flashing a custom rom on it + great review
Unfortunately, I won't have it for too long I am doing a trade-in to get the latest S24 Ultra! Super excited for that and thanks!
Watching this on my note 8😍
Let's go! The note 8 has a beautiful display and I hope this video did justice with the 4k quality 🙏🏽
you didnt show the geekbench 6 score
facts, I realized I forgot to add the screenshots of the Geekbench 6 score. I will add it in a Google drive link and share in video description 👍
added Geekbench 6 scores screenshots see video description, thanks for pointing that out 💯
the 67w charger wont make it degrade faster. the reason your battery is so degraded is because it's 7 years old.

The spen looks kinda laggy. That's where it seems to not aged as well
Yeah over time the S Pen does get a little laggy. Perhaps I will make a more detailed video next time with that information and my thoughts on it 👍
@@suyperb so I guess this will happen eventually on my s23u?
