@@cincinnatibob37 I can completely understand that and would prefer not to have added the additional cards/subscribe buttons that end up blocking parts of the video. I tried putting them at the very end, but unfortunately, those things make a huge difference when it comes to RUclips's algorithm, and how many views a video will get. I' ve done quite extensive testing, and the difference it makes is quite astonishing. I mean obviously none of my videos are monetized, but I still wanted as many people that were interested to be able to see the video. I actually uploaded it twice, once with the advertising at the end, and once without. If you take a look you can see the pretty significant difference in the amount of views from the exact same video clip. Anyways, sorry if that took away from the viewing experience, I gain nothing from uploading a video such as this, just wanted to share!

He really is! I hadn't seen him interest with children much previous to this experience, and he really was great with the kids, and they were just amazed at what he was doing. I am 28, but getting to watch Blaine perform two feet from me made me feel like a kid again lol. He is the reason that I first got interested in magic, and I have been a fan of his for about 20 years! So it was really nice getting to meet him, and see him perform live! I would have loved to been able to record more, and show some of the other truly amazing tricks he performed, but no more recording was permitted unfortunately! Anyways, thanks for givint the video a watch, and commenting!

No doubt! He truly is amazing, and is the main person who got me interested in magic as a child. Watching him on TV back in like 2000 just blew my mind, and made me want to be able to do things like that. 18 years later and I still can't, but I was glad that I was able to experience this up close performance, along with his live show, that I would highly recommend. I am mainly a fan of card/close up magic, but I still enjoy his "Stunts" and stage performances as well. He was just a super nice guy, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish.

The first time I saw the Ambitious card routine was on DB's street magic TV show. Since then, i've seen so many magicians perform it in so many different styles. But no one has been able to create that wonder like the first time (Fruit loops). I still remember how dumbfounded i was the first time I saw that trick. DB is a legend! True king of close up magic in our era.

The magic is also that David’s style of fashion and personality is just cool and chill, he makes the magic the big deal. No glitz, gaudy jewelry, corny goth or trying to be a loud speaker. The magic is the main event.
I can assume you are mainly referring to Chris Angel lol, and I couldn't agree more! I've gone to Vegas many times over the past few years, and never had a desire to see his show because of all the extra nonsense, and just what I would call "Cheesy" magic.
Oh me too! I loved magic and still do! Mostly card magic but watching DB as a kid just amazed me and inspired me to start practicing myself. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to put in to really improve at the moment but I enjoy watching it and getting to meet David Blaine was just really awesome!

Gotta love David, if your an avid viewer of card magic, or is somewhat experienced with a deck of cards this trick is fairly simple, but David’s sleight of hand and double lifts are so advance sometimes even I think the card teleports to the top of the deck.

Blain is the Tom Brady of magic. Max stage presence and is so cool and unflappably.. He acts like something went wrong but then that’s another mis direction and the trick is even more amazing. Smooth.
nobody seems to notice the psychological trick at the end of pretending to forget he's handed off the king of hearts (whilst searching for it to sign) to reinforce the idea that he did not use any doubles, truly one of the best
he fumbled at the end, there's 2 king of hearts used for the trick, and he realized he was looking for the other one, which technically shouldn't exist, so he played it off like he forgot. good recovery, "oh, man"
I don’t believe that to be true, I think he just messed up and forgot but you could be right. I just think it was great double lifts and a standard deck. I don’t think he would be looking for the king of hearts if there were 2. Could be wrong though!

As amazing as that doublelift is, I can't get over that force at the end. I also can't get over how for all his magical wizardry, he forgot the first kid picked the King of Hearts. lol. But seriously that force, tho.
I thought he was looking through the deck multiple times so he could memorize it and then blow their minds with another trick, but he just forgot the king of hearts was already taken. Lol
lol he did make a mistake, but he did blow everyone's mind with the next few tricks he performed when cameras were off! I am somewhat of a magician, and know many of the techniques used to get the effect and I still was blown away! Even standing right there and watching him closely, his sleight of hand is insane! Even a basic double lift I couldn't see even though I know that what he was doing for many of the tricks. It was a great experience no doubt!

He did one trick that I believed he performed on Ellen or a variation of that trick. He put a card under someones watch, and just did some other great stuff. I am a magician myself, although not a very good one lol, and even though I know at least part of the method used to complete the tricks, I was still blown away.
Yeah, it definitely isn't something new, and even though I pretty much know the method, or think I know the method he used, it was still amazing to watch in person. He is just so talented, and his misdirection skills are incredible. I would love to go see him again. I wasn't sure if he would tour the US ever again, so I had to go all out and get the VIP front row seats, and the opportunity to meet one of my idols that I've looked up to since being a young boy. I am glad that everyone is enjoying it for the most part!
I completely agree with you, even though I am the one that recorded this video, but I just did my best to hold the phone steady and was looking at him, not my phone screen. I'ts pretty much a once in a lifetime thing for most people to see Blaine do card magic this close up and to watch it through a phone screen does seem like a wasted moment/experience. However, this was only the first few minutes, and then all phones were put away. I like to get SOME video whether it's a concert, etc. just to have it to look back on years later, but I never have been able to understand those that go to a concert and have their phone up and recording the entire time. I might stick to one or two of my favorite songs, and then just enjoy the show! Well unless I can do what I did here, where I'm recording, but still watching and getting the full experience.

I wanted to record a little bit but mostly just enjoy the experience which I did but I understand where your coming from. Like at concerts for example I just rather enjoy the moment than spend the entire time recording but I feel like there can be a good balance of getting some decent footage to look back on while still fully enjoying the show!
