I love your battle reps, you are the only one who calls the models by their name (and not something like big dude, sword boy etc) so it is like watching a story. Keep up the good work!
This is so far the best BR I've seen. Most BR are so bloated and hard to watch because the players don't trim the fat between what actions, this is so sleek and to the point, it kept me in the action the whole time without missing any important elements.
Over in Magic: The Gathering, rats are a creature type typically associated with the color Black. And what Black understands better than any other color is that nothing is so precious that it cannot be sacrificed. Life. Cards in hand. Cards in deck. Cards in graveyard. And especially your own dudes. All are resources that can - and should - be spent, in the interests of clinching victory. In Warhammer, the Skaven have internalized this mentality well, yes yes.
Came here cause Glass half dead mentioned you in command points stream today about Kill Team. And man he wasn’t lying this Warcry battle report was A1! Nice work seriously
Your battle reports are so entertaining to watch, good job again! By the way, could you share with us what kind of glue do you use to stick the magnet under the mini and also what kind of magnets you use? I suppose you store them in a box with a magnetic sheet?
I use 1/4 x 1/16 inch rare earth disc magnets. I buy them off ebay. And I just use super glue to adhere them to the base. For storage, any type of container or box with aluminum or metal sheets would be fine.
Woah, it's crazy for me to realize that I can essentially make a Warcry team out of just the Plague Monk set my friend gifted me for Xmas! Now all I need is a rulebook, terrain, special rules for the Skaven, measuring tools, and another person to play with. Maybe I do try Warcry, instead of Underworlds as my first game. Though I hear you can also make most of a warband with certain Underworlds bands too...
That seemed so easy for the SKaven...In Mordhiem they were strong too. Hmm, I need to research more to see which factions suck and which don't.....thanks for the education.
I really enjoy your videos, they are fantastic to watch! I was starting to second guess doing lava bases for my scions, however, this video reassured me that it would be worth it haha.
@@DiceChatter Hah, thanks^^ Just wanted to mention, at the end of the battrep, when the immolator runs in to take the treasure, I don't think he'd be able to get away from the plague monk after...
Generally how much are random Catacombs events (such as bridges collapsing) influencing the games you've played of it? It seems like you really want to avoid getting stuck on a bridge, or even ending a move action on a bridge, as much as possible and that sounds like it'll punish slow moving teams pretty badly.
I have only played a few, so my thoughts may be slightly incorrect. Bridges are bad to be on, but some warbands are practically forced to go on them due to their slow movement. Now a bridge collapsing is roughly a 17% of falling (if weakened), but for some reason it happens to me all the time. I'd say I enjoy the mechanic, but for your slow warbands, you may have to get creative at times dealing with those gosh darn bridges.
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding the damage rules. I thought for every hit, you scored the first damage number and for every critical you scored the second damage number, so at 7.55 for example, you wanted 5's for a hit and rolled a 4 and a 6, so the damage should of been just 4 for rolling a crit, but you took 9 damage. I've also noticed most of your damage rolls being wrong but I'm assuming that the Catacombs rules are possibly different from the starter set.
Nope you are correct on the damage rules. For the instance at 7:55, the grey seer had a boost to its damage due to the ability used before it attacked.
@@DiceChatter Ahhhh I new there had to be a logical explanation, your play throughs are so brilliant, that I guessed it had to be something I was unaware of. Many thanks for updating me, I really appreciate your speedy reply and as for your videos, excellent filming and editing... priceless
I know im a little late in commenting but i think the points for skaven are off. With the list you have (10 plague monks, 1 bringer of the word, and 1 grey seer) the points should come to 1025, not 975. I might be wrong, but am I?
I come for a scions of flame battle report to see if I want to buy them or not or if their good but THEY ALL DIE BEFORE I CAN SEE SO I GUESS FUCKING NOT
Life is cheap, here in the Skavenblight. Two Plague Monks for three Scions of Flame is a Black Friday-level of deal in the world of Warhammer.
Hahahha! Yep, this sounds about right!
Your battle reports are the best. Best quality, not very time consuming, straight to the point. Love them.
I thought today was gonna be rough, but instead I wake up to one of your battle reports? Hell yeah, I'm ready to take on the day now.
If nothing else, Catacombs gave us two awesome new warbands. The Shadowstalkers are rapidly becoming my new favorite.
Catacombs is an awesome change of pace
Loved the moment, when the skaven jumped onto the bridge, which collapsed and three fighters were consumed by the lava :D
I love your battle reps, you are the only one who calls the models by their name (and not something like big dude, sword boy etc) so it is like watching a story. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate that!
Really didn't expect a Skaven win there. Brilliant Betrep as always
One of the best reports for Warcry that i've seen, really fun!

Another epic battle report! The terrain was catastrophic.

Thanks a bunch Ryan!!!
@@DiceChatter always man
Once again my hobby addiction is satiated. Thank you kind sir!
Your wallet won't!
INSANE! What a rad battle lol I'd be freaking out if I was playing this game
Amazing game and as always awesome job.
Very well done, the video and minis!
Glad to see the return of the battle reports. There's plenty here to like and hoping to see more in the future.
The amount of death by fire the scions suffered is extremly hilarious to me. Scions of flame? more like scions of lukewarm.
This video lit a fire in my heart. Time to get out my warbands and start kit bashing/painting again!
Glad I could help!

please start doing warcry battle reports again!!!
The skaven rolling here was fucking bonkers

THE BRIDGE KAMIKAZE KILLED ME LMAO
That bridge kamikaze was awesome
Quality as always!

@@DiceChatter sure ill post them in your discord tomorrow, its my first attempt though so I can't make any promises how they turn out lol

Super fun game!!!
Love it!! :)

Ahh yeah, good point. Always miss something... At least it lead to a good thematic moment.
@@DiceChatter Quite true, the crumbling bridges were awesome^^
cool battle report. love to see the skaven getting so lucky!
have you had any plans to make more terrain to fit the catacombs board?
I could certainly try. Have a few other videos coming down the pipeline first, but this is not a bad idea!
Wow that was rough
Awesome!
Wow holy shit y'all are amazing
Nice Report. Still painting my set.
this game just seemed like alot of the terrain doing everything

Great job. Do you think the Skaven warband is missing anything when you run plague monks?
I would say I need a model or two that can deal out damage. Like a rat ogor for example, but I don’t have the model 😞.
@@DiceChatter Do you think a storm fiend would be better or does it take up too many points.
