Watched lots of warcry battle reports and gotta say this has been the best. Great narration, smooth streamlined depiction of the gameplay, short run time, no rules blunders, and great looking models makes your channel an instant sub

Yeah! Beasts of Chaos! I was excited when I saw they were teased. They dropped so many warband cards in these two weeks that I want, it's not even funny.

Wow. It took me most of these battle reports to realize that the terrain is actually plastic, and not some sort of ultra-high-quality papercraft. The high-contrast style on it is so good it looks printed on, rather than a hand-brushed paintjob.

God damn those archers rolled so above average it is hard to comprehend. Ridicules amounts of damage out of fighters who ought to do very little :D

Thank you again for a great battle report! My only beef, pun very much intended, is that the BoC battle groups were so unbalanced. The shield had a total of 73 wounds to work with while the dagger only had 24 (with toughness 3)!
Darcy Bono Creations haha nice! Yeah unfortunately divided up those fighters not the best for the scenario. But I didn’t know what cards were going to be flipped!
@@DiceChatter Oh I understand, and that's actually my point. 🙂
We don't know what cards will be flipped, but we do know that 7 out of the 36 cards are a "kill this group" victory condition, so nearly a 20% chance. That being said, it's good to take durability into consideration when assembling the battlegroups. They don't need to be perfectly equal, but with 3 Bullgors it just seemed a better strategy to put one in each. I assure you this is not meant to sound patronizing, just a comment on opening strategy. Thank you so much again for your wonderful videos!
Don't worry at all, not patronizing in the slightest. You have some really good thoughts and ideas here though. Maybe I'll try and be a little bit more "strategic" in the next battle report!

Brandon Usher Rakarth Flesh base, Reikland Fleshshade wash, Rakarth Flesh once and again, and finish it off with Pallid Wych Flesh for the highlight. I’m assuming you were asking about the bullgor skin.
Dice Chatter nope, the shattered stormvault centerpiece! What’s that paint recipe?
I use contrast paints for the stone and it gets splotchy, so be warned. The green is Militarum Green and the yellowish brown is Aggaros Dunes. Then just drybursh everything with Dawnstone and Pallid Wych Flesh. And feel free to add some brown wash where you feel its appropriate.

another great video! cheers for your hard work. :) I have one question though, at 5:00 a beast archer hit a crit on a shrike talon and you rolled for chans of falling. is that something extra the beasts enjoy or can any ranged attack or even not ranged have a chance off shoveing off a character from a ledge. and is it only when not the whole base is on the platform?

First off thanks a bunch, glad you like them. And yes I do play against myself. To create better angles, shots, and views for you the viewer, it is very time consuming. It can be difficult to convince someone to sit down and deal with 4-6 hours of filming for a 30 minute game. At the end of the day it is easier with just me. But I am having a guest on in the near future! So keep an eye out for that.

Did you use some technical paints for the bases of the corvus cabal or how did you make them?
Just used that Astrogranite technical paint, a brown wash, and then a drybrush of light grey, then white. Nothing too crazy!
@@DiceChatter Jum, quite the easy method for such a good result. I presume you didn't use too much astrogranite? Also, do you glue the mini to the base before or after it is done?
Sorry for the late response. I actually slopped the astrogranite on there pretty heavily. Its the light drybrushing that does the work. And models I know I am going to do a simple basing theme (like the Corvus), I'll glue the model on first.

@@DiceChatter I could see that as a tough ask for sure. I imagine there's lots of moving the camera mount, readjusting it, remounting the camera, and then turning the camera back on for like 5 seconds of footage. Well it looks great.

I really liked the way you made the battle report, but first time seeing warcry, the game makes no sense to me, and whats up with so many awsome minotaurs... doing nothing.
