Her personality kinda made the show tbh next to the dancers. Sad to see her go
They tried to launch ALDC LA with a studio that was already there and it didn't last beyond one season. Honestly, I thin I can see the point where the relationship between the producers and Abby broke down because all of a sudden, they began showing Abby as unhinged and a bit crazy, whereas before they portrayed her as tough and that the moms were just being unreasonable.

Say what you want about Abby Lee Miller, but without her I'm afraid this show will be very boring. Her contempt for the parents was quite entertaining.
It was very boring after Kelly and Christi left with all their entertaining drama. The las few seasons kinda were shitty but the only entertaining thing left was Abby's unpredictable behavior.

I feel bad for her... she is an amazing choreographer and has great ideas, but her time is up she looks tired.. and I like she is not dissing Cheryl who I love btw I can't wait to see what she'll do...

there is no way dance moms will succeed with this new host...because the whole point of the show was Abby's personality so I think instead of trying to bring someone new to the show they should've just end it.....because everything will be scripted (not saying it wasn't before) but it will be just boring...and I bet they will try to bring back some of the girls that weren't in the show anymore...so I think I will look for a new show to watch now instead...😕😕😕😕😕
Li-Ja Love and it was more meaningful in the beginning because the original cast had been dancing for abby prior to the show. Abby taught them and raised them in the world of dance. This new host coming in out of no where is pointless and I will not be watching anymore sad to say.

The producers will want someone who creates drama, and that doesn't describe Gianna. Plus, Gianna or Abby might take it as being disloyal if she continued. (Gia tweeted that she was getting back to normal life, which seems to mean she's quitting with Abby.)
Yeah, Gia wasn't creating enough drama, which they were in desperate need of (so they brought Chloe, Chloe didn't come on her own). So she was out of there.
There is no way this show will sustain without Abby. No matter how mean we've all said she is, ppl said she's jealous of Maddie.... WHATEVER!! Her personality is a strong source of the show. Ratings are about to come down. I know I'll be watching less and sooner or later, not at all...... I'm sad to see Abby go. Praying for her Tax situation and hope her leaving grants her the peace she wants......

Yeah, she was a trip and slightly crazy, but the show wouldn't have been what it was and those girls wouldn't be the amazing dancers they are without her!

This interview shows how real Abby is; no matter how she screams and yells at parents and kids and 'favored' a kid, she didn't want to do it, she wanted to have a good reality show and a great life. We're all human and Abby is a human too.

I really wish I could say Chloe coming back to the show makes me want to continue watching, but Abby leaving is also a huge downer. Without her, the show isn't the same considering her studio started it all.

It's funny how when the drama in the show got more intense in the later seasons... the number of viewers went down. Whatever the producers were trying to do, they weren't succeeding.

IMO, Abby losing her mom, moving to LA, dealing with the moms and all the behind the scenes drama that the viewers don't see..... I'm not surprised that she broke down. There's only so much fight in a person until they just can't be bothered anymore.
If abby didn't yell at the children or have been really strict on them then they wouldn't be as good as they are today. NO point in watching dance moms again if the abby isn't in it anymore. Stay strong abby gotcha

What is wrong with her voice
Her voice is super shaky because she's fighting tears / crying / talking angrily. Even when she's at her best her voice kind of sound like a smoking men though.

She must have some disorder. Her voice sounds like this almost all the time.
She always would talk like that on dance moms in the earlier seasons. It's probably because she's worn out her voice from all the yelling and screaming.
hmmmm,some people naturally have that kind of squeaky voice easily when they talk a little while,yelling or not.
Same way some women naturally have deep voices .

It's interesting how all of this falls into place. Chloe and her mom wouldn't come back if they had to deal with Abby. Now Abby is leaving. So Chloe is back. BUT apparently Brynn is still dancing under ALDCLA so is Abby just not gonna handle that part of her dance team? Her Minis?
