Women's Health Goulburn North East's Jade Lane joins the creative minds behind Stay or Leave, author Cate Kennedy and animator Annie Murray of Bigger Picture Animation to officially launch and discuss the video.
Stay or Leave explores how gender roles, expectations and stereotypes drive violence against women in times of disaster like bushfire.
Created as part of Women's Health Goulburn North East's 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-based Violence campaign of 2021, the work draws upon the nationally significant research of Gender and Disaster Australia and coincides with WHGNE's Bushfire Recovery Victoria work.
