That’s great that there’s only been five cases so far in your area. Knock on wood. I think you get all the main points of the challenges related to visual impairment and coved. For me, the social distancing has definitely been the most difficult. Not being able to judge how close people are, I thought I was paranoid about personal space before, that’s nothing compared to now LOL.

Hopefully you are safe where you are. Victoria sounds like it’s having some problems at the moment with the coronavirus. People have been pretty good where I live. When I’m out with York let him to give us a little bit more room. And people in the shops have been considerate. Most of the big stores have extra staff on the door. Who are helpful. Another great video. Cheers!

Hi Steve, yeah unfortunately Victoria is in a lot of trouble! Thankfully, in Mildura where I live, they have not been any new cases since early April and I hope it stays that way. I am currently holidaying in Avoca, sort of in central west and Victoria, there aren’t any cases here either which is good. I have been being very cautious about what shops I go to and when, especially because people don’t seem to be social distancing properly. However, Penny and I are getting out and about a little bit more now.

I don’t know what we would have done in the old ays when we didn’t have access to a support worker a couple of times a week.

Hey Mel I just have a suggestion are you open?. Well I think it would be a good idea for you to create a Facebook group so all of us blind people could meet just something to think about you don’t have to do it just a suggestion

I would like to but you know those things can sometimes turn nasty. I’ll have to see what I can do with regards to rules and privacy and things.

Oh yes, mommy’s famous basketball voice. I’m pretty sure the first one was the video that I was teaching Penny the bus stop.
