There were usually biscuits " cookies" and fifteens which is fifteen digestive biscuits, fifteen marshmallows, fifteen cherries and a tin of condensed milk. They always took boxes filled. 😂😂 let me share a story about these so called "cheap" plastic containers. About 6 years ago I had been doing laundry. I went to change the laundry out. As I was getting my cloths out of the washing machine I seen it! There in my freshly washed clothes was a "glad" container! I pulled it out and low and behold the lid was still on! I was shocked! I opened the lid 😂😂😂😂 the brownies were still dry. Not even wet a little. They didn't resemble a brownie either. It was some kind of a scramble chocolate stuff. Look as if a kid had been in there and just squished it all up. But hey, that glad container with through a wash cycle.... unbelievable! 😂😂😂😂

Pastor says the community needs to know the joys and blessings from the Lord are free, don't have to pay money for them. Church tracts and goody bags are given to each person. We have great turnouts and positive results. It's a lot of work but don't know who has the most fun, the workers or the kids!!!

Hey Leslie! I love watching your channel. I just noticed that you did not wash the roast before cooking 🫣, but being a nurse I would highly recommend you wash your meats out of the store packaging. Anyway, thanks for the food family content and God bless you and your family.
USDA states that you should NOT rinse/wash meat prior to cooking it because there is an increased risk of cross-contaminating your sink, counter-top, dishes, utensils, etc. All meat is washed between processing and packaging, so it is not necessary to wash it, unlike meat that was butchered/processed at home in the "old days".

I made the taco frittata the same day u made it. My husband loved it we loved as a left over too. You mentioned how u love quacamole , but u don’t always know how to ripen them and store them. My background is Mexican and avocados are a staple around our house. Here’s a trick to ripen and store for later usage. I buy a Costco bag of six avocados. They sit on my counter for 2-3 days still firm , but soft enough to make a slight finger imprint. Then they are stored in refrigerator up to 2-3 was. Always ready for slicing on omelets, toast etc. also ready for a great guacamole. Hope this helps. Luv your channel.
