    Another incredible mum who knows about natural remedies and cooking from scratch. Garlic is indeed a miracle that God put on this for us to use. ❤

    @margokupelian344 Год назад +5

    Whenever I had an ear infection as a child, my mum put a clove of garlic cut up in a table spoon then added a little bit of olive oil and heated it up or rather let it boil on the fire, then let it cool off and dropped a few drops in my ear and the infection was gone. My mom used a lot of natural remedies like this one.

    New subscriber! Glad I found your channel! My MIL taught me the garlic trick 20+ years ago when my oldest ones were little and although I thought I was pretty open to natural ways, I was scared to try it because I just thought it sounded weird to put raw garlic inside an ear lol. But when I finally tried it, it really did work! I've been on a journey of learning natural health since then. I'm now a certified holistic nutritionist, herbalist, and wellness coach!

    I grew up in Northern Virginia - My mother and grandmother always used pickles or relish (dill) , and mustard in their potato salad. That's how I learned to make it, and still do today. I also use bacon in mine, too. Your recipe is very similar to mine. I totally agree with you about making your own mayonnaise - SO much better!

      It is crazy that they don't teach that, but they don't. I know a lot of doctors and nurses and not only were they not taught those things, but they also only spent about one week of school on nutrition and it was just an overview. Yet nutrition is the basis of all health.

      Medical books from the 1800s? Dude come on...they used to think bloodletting and miasma were real. Denouncing modern medicine as a whole over a few issues is insanity and makes you stupid as hell. Does old stuff work, like garlic in the ear? Yes. Does modern medicine do stuff like ROBOTIC BRAIN SURGERY????? Also yes. It's not all the devil. Don't be a brainwashed idiot

    I found your channel last night I’m trying to learn how to make sourdough bread ! I love your videos. So many people are taking charge of there families health now & going back to the old ways . We have a 30 year old daughter ,she has a 7 year old & we started over in our older age & have a 5 year old daughter with Down syndrome. She stopped talking after her 2 year vaccines!! After researching & working myself in health care for many years i realize the corruption around it all . She has no longer been vaccinated. I homeschool her & take a total holistic approach & she’s so smart & healthy compared to the other kids we know with DS. I’m learning to garden, prep, & hopefully I’ll learn more from you & how to make sourdough bread ! Thanks for your videos .

    I just came across your channel and I have a little one that had ear infections all the time when he was in public school. I ended up pulling him out of public school a couple years ago and since then he has not had one single ear infection, or any major illness like he did, when he was in public school. His asthma has drastically improved as well which is awesome! He has not had any antibiotics since pulling him out of public school. Anytime he has a cold coming on. I always go to natural remedies from things that grow in my garden and they work so much better than any anabiotic he has ever been put on in the past. I will definitely give the garlic a try for earaches for my husband. My husband struggles with ear problems. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us🥰🥰🥰

    Chiropractor was the trick for my littles with ear infections! Just a couple adjustments is all it took 🙌🏻
    A few of my babies were adjusted as newborn and we didn’t have ear infections-we had moved a couple times while my oldest son was a baby and I didn’t find trusted chiro so never went and he had nonstop infections antibiotic’s etc. and one day it hit me🤦🏻‍♀️ he never got adjusted -two adjustments and he never had another🙌🏻
    I LOVE RELISH IN POTATO SALAD-sadly my husband doesn’t like pickles Or basically green food🤦🏻‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤪
    I just add it on top of my serving
    Doing boiled eggs Instapot has become my favorite way for fresh eggs! Always make extras as one or two usually bust open🤷‍♀️but the shells just slip right off🙌🏻

    Oooh i love garlic. We take fermented honey garlic all fall and winter, even my littles eat it. Tastes like sweet and sour sauce. Not nearly as hot as traditional raw garlic. So good for you!
    Also a great tip for pasta, potato even rice dishes, rub a cut clove of garlic around your bowl before adding hot food, adds great flavor with no chunks, and then you can still chop it up for another use if desired!!

    That's a good idea about the garlic. What we do for our ears, is use a homemade ear rinse. My husband has issues when he gets water in his ears, so every night after a shower, he puts a mixture that he made, 1/2 Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/2 alcohol. He has a squirt bottle ( a bottle that Sriracha came in - of course we washed it out really, really good) he fills that with the 1/2 and 1/2 mixture and uses it every night, just tilts his head, puts a drop in, then tilt his head and dumps it out. Its sort of like a homemade swimmers ears concoction :) BUT I've noticed that even when I get the first signs of any kind of sinus infection or head cold, I wash my ears out with it and it seems to nip it in the bud. For an ear ache , I would use this mixture and then warm up some coconut oil and put it in and then a cotton ball. Momma use to use sweet oil when I when young, but coconut oil is antibacterial, anti-fungal and antimicrobial. Hope this is helpful. I really enjoy your channel.

I now have an issue with my eustachian tube to where it’s always open and so my ear drum is constantly moving. I can hear myself breathing. My kids don’t go to the dr’s, so never got the you know what’s, and my son has only ever had 1 ear infection. He’s 11. My daughter has had 0 and she’s 5. They’re rarely sick. We all came down with what I like to call the 2019 flu, and my son was bedridden with a fever for….1 day. My daughter was icky for a few days. My husband and I had it bad for 2 weeks and I had long…flu symptoms all the way up to a year after. We all fell sick the exact same day.

    Hello, did you wash the eggs before you boiled them?
    Also - raw egg is ok in mayonnaise? Not a salmonella risk?
