When you run follower ads from ads manager - how do you check your follower metric?
You can't check followers unfortunately you just have to view stats manually on your pages.

My instagram acc link doesnt seem to work in ads manager. It states an error with a message about external links
Try using the new Instagram Profile Visits under objectives for Traffic campaigns. Should work with your connect IG account.
