If Doug had read the Getting Started booklet he would have known that you put the ingredients into the cup in the opposite order that you would put them into the blender. Which means you put the ice in FIRST because you are flipping the container and then the ice will be on the top !
I just upgraded my vitamix to a Vitamix A3500. It's got a lot of the bells and whistles and the pre-settings. I'm in love to the ease. I didn't realize how wrong I was doing some of the mixtures I was doing before! Love it for peanut butter for my dog! Just dry roasted, salt free peanuts, some coconut oil and some honey. So simple and easy and very healthy for her!
What a coincidence that u posted a vitamix video...I have the ascent series and just ordered the stainless steel canister and the food processor from the Cosco site!

I prefer frozen fruit at the least. I freeze my greens so they last longer. I love adding whole almonds to my smoothies, it adds such a nice texture and flavour. I have a bunch of Brazil nuts and cashews so I’ll add those to my smoothies. I’m on the fence with the personal cups but I think I’m going to purchase it because my fiancé and I always make wayyy too much smoothie for the two of us. I think we have the same blender as you. This tool would be great for making salad dressings, dips, etc. You have such a good vibe, I subbed!
Love the Vita mix but at the moment can’t justify it as I have three other blenders and the ninja hot and cold, so until one of them breaks! Part of your air frying with Doug by cooking with Doug!
Does anybody knows are 8 and 20oz cups from newer Vitamix Ascend series compatible with this base? From what I can see via internet-found pictures, it is difficult to judge. Overall tops of the cups looks different.

I cannot get my aspire vitamix to recognize this - I got it from Costco a few years ago and just decided to try it
I just put my regular spinach in the freezer. It keeps forever. When I get tired of salads, the rest gets frozen.

Yes they are. Although, I feel it would be difficult to fit the bowl even though it would screw on.

I would just use a regular vitamix container. Less fidgeting jmho.
I loooooove those smokehouse almonds! Costco got the BIG bags. Also, the Tervis straws work well if you don't want to drink out of the opening.
