The belly kissing, the massages, the human bridge he makes for them so they can get back into their apartment, the well thought out diet..i love all of that lovely love
They are too sweet! That one that put its little paw on its hand while he was holding it was too cute! Also didn't know rats wagged their tails when they're happy, so I learned something too! Great video!
I noticed that, too, when he moved his little paw onto his hand! I hit the back arrow a couple of times to re-watch. That little paw made the cuteness reach infinity.🐭
@@tami3456 😍NO WAY! I did know they were ticklish but not that they could laugh! Thank you for sharing! Now I'm going to have to find a video of a rat laughing!
@@lyndseystrait1513 you can't hear them laugh because it's at a frequency that human ears cannot detect, but scientists have been able to record and play it at a frequency we can hear. I wonder what other sounds they make that we can't hear. I'm sure they're a lot chattier than we think!
In 2015 I was alone and depressed as heck. Wanted to self delete. Gained so much weight. I got two Rats and their love and companionship absolutely helped me so much. Miss Raz and Turbo ❤
Most of us aren't "insert weird animal pet name here now" until we experience them for ourselves. I used to help out a friend of mine take care of injured animals and ended up homing a young bat and a young skunk once (not at the same time). Their level of intelligence and affection were beyond what I ever could have imagined. It became hard just to not get attached to either of them, as the end goal was releasing back into the wild.
I wasn't a rat person either, my friend, until I had my own experience with them. Now I know they are the most gentle creatures I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. I hope one day Asena you can experience the love from a small being..it's amazing. But if not that's ok too. At least u are educating yourself. Maybe videos like these will help you become more compassionate towards rats and oneday you might find one that's in trouble and you can remember this video!! I drove 2 hours to rescue my boys that were labeled feeder rats..meaning they were snake food. Not my babies!! Haha, I'd do it all over again if I had the chance. My 6 year old loved them dearly too. Very sad day when they passed. I hope my comment didn't offend you at any point, that isn't my intention here. I hope you have a great day!
I don't like anything jumping out at me, running by me, etc. I think that's why I didn't thing I liked rats. Then my nephews had two and I held them and they nestled into my neck! I was in love. When you watch RUclips videos you see such wonderful love stories between humans and the most surprising animals! NEVER day never. Look for the one where a lady rescued a bee that couldn't fly.❤️
@@22lyric hey jude! I did watch that too! The one where she found the little guy outside her house? I've done that before with a carpenter bee. Those big fat ones, that aren't fuzzy. It was a few days before Thanksgiving(2019...no coronavirus yet then) and I seen this bee not moving much..in SC our weather is so crazy it could be raining one minute and cold and the next it's hot and the sun is burning lol...so i think the bees got confused..but I put him on a rose..he still didn't move much. So, he was our guest of honor at Thanksgiving, haha. He was a boy, so no stinger thank goodness cause I probably wouldn't have been so quick to pick it up haha. But q few days of some good honey he started to fly again and I was able to set him free. Probably just to be eaten by a bird but hey at least he got to celebrate Thanksgiving with some delicious honey!
I used to be a rat mom. They truly are one of the best furry friends you could ever have. They're very affectionate, highly intelligent, and amusing to watch and play with! Only downside is their short life span.
I know. I had to do dissection today for my anatomy class. I refused to do it, just read the instructions for my team mates. So now I'm on here cleansing my soul with cute rattie videos. And I said to anyone in the class that would listen that hopefully someday the only animals in labs are ones who have died of natural causes and have been donated to science.
I actually work as a caretaker for lab rats, and there are very strict rules in place to ensure that the animals experience as little suffering as possible! Admittedly the lab I work for can't really offer too much enrichment bc they study rare medical ailments (so the animals bred for the studies are often immunocompromised and need sterile environments), but we always make sure everyday that they have clean bedding, food, and water, and anything from a tiny scratch to them just not looking very well needs to be reported to one of the 3 on-call vets to check out. We're also encouraged to give them whatever enrichment items we can when it's allowed via protocol, and the researchers are encouraged to play with them whenever they can to make them more comfortable. I can't speak for other labs ofc, but the rules for making sure they're as happy and healthy as we can manage are taken extremely seriously at mine
And used as snake food too. It doesn’t seem fair that fancy rats are considered pets and feeder rats are fed to snakes just because they have pink eyes. When I used to have pet rats, I’d always hit up the snake food section because they were only $3 instead of $12 and they need a home more.
I will never forget going to a pet store as a child with my grandmother, I was around 6/7 yrs old and they had what looked like large fish tanks without the lids on top that contained the same type of rats featured in this story. I was at eye level to one of those tanks and I noticed that every time someone would enter the store the rats would get so excited! My grandma told me that they were domesticated rats, they’ve probably lived in the pet store for awhile and just wanted to go home with someone and be loved and cared for. I thought to myself.. rats? Really? I guess even as a child I didn’t really view them as pet material. This is when my grandma told me that every living creature in that shop desired love and attention. I’m in my 50’s today but for some reason I remember that conversation vividly, it gave me a different perspective on smaller animals such as rats, hamsters or even spiders for that matter. They all have the ability to sense what love is which is pretty darned cool. 😊
She instilled in you. The teachings of the way of the world. It's easy to get lost in madness these days when at the core of all the anger is the desire to be loved and protected. Indeed, all living creatures understand love.
I've had to take a break from these little angels because of this. I now have a hamster because the empty cage was making me so sad. Don't get me wrong, banjo is so much sweeter and well behaved than I thought a hamster could be, but rats just show SO much love.
They're just one of the better options sadly and that's how it is for many other animals before it comes to human trials and these days its a lot better than it used to be but it's one of the best ways to learn educate understand and make sure of depending on the tests.
Awwwww!! My fatty rattys passed this past Christmas. My daughter and I were devastated. They aren't dirty, they are actually quite clean animals. When I got my 2 boys, they both had myco. (Sorry if I mispronounced it or wrote that wrong but it's a type of respiratory infection that's often deadly If not treated properly.) I had a nebulizer and the albuterol solution so I fashioned up a box and gave them 2 treatments a day. It worked and I had 2 1/2 wonderful years with my boys. RIP Goose and Duece.
@@BunnyQueen97 thank you Iris!! Haven't been able to commit to anymore yet. My heart isn't ready, for now I'll focus on my 6 parrots and 4 dogs, think that will be enough to occupy my time, haha!
@@BunnyQueen97 and thank you for the lovely comment. People can be so rude sometimes. Especially when I talk about my rats. I even saved a wild roof rat once. Her name was Moose. She was my everything, not a mean bone in her tiny body. She was a wee tiny thing that had fallen off her mother in transport. Her eyes weren't even open yet. I was her momma as far as she was concerned. She slept in my sweatshirt. I miss that girl. She went off to live in a sanctuary where she is now a foster mother for other rat babies that might need a momma. She is what started my rat obsession. Was scared to death of them before. She changed me for the better. Have a good day! Thought you'd like that story too!
Myco is passed to young from the mother or other rats. It's endemic to pet rats, unfortunately. It stays hidden until a weakness develops, then it can be fatal. Smart idea with the nebulizer!
@@billymadisonsshampoo8223 I’m so sorry for your loss! I have never owned rats, but a bf had two rats. His rats wanted to sit on my shoulder and snuggle into my neck. They were so sweet! I always try to tell people how wonderful they are. 🐁✌🏼💖

Rats are very loyal to their human. Mine were like toddlers who don’t want to be separated from their mum. If anyone except me tried to handle them, they were obviously unhappy and tried to get back to me. I never expected that when I got them. Really wonderful little creatures. If only they didn’t have such short lifespans. 😢
I loved my girls, but they just don't live long enough. My girls lived about 2 years, had vet visits, and were healthy. All four of my girls got cancer. It devastated my wife and I losing them. They were very well trained and behaved. Came when called, could do spin tricks, sat on our shoulders, and would comfort us on hard days.
I’ve been following you on TicToc. I love your rats and how much you love them and take such great care of them. They are indeed clean, intelligent, loving and fun creatures.
Aww this is beyond precious! Rats get such a bad rap. I had one that was orig bought as food for my boyfriend's 8ft Boa snake. When I found this out I immediately ran to the enclosure with Barbie (yes he named his snake Barbie) & thank goodness she hadn't eaten him! Come to find out she was beginning to molt so she was not in a eating mood. Whew! I took my sweet new pet rat, whom I later named Stevie, home with me. He was so loving & sweet. Built him his own little Taj Mahal in my guest bedroom. Stevie lived only 2.5 years. I buried him at home. Miss you sweet little Stevie. 🥰🐁
My sister's rat was more affectionate and loving than my dog and cats put together. But seeing Sis heartbroken after only getting two and a half years with her is more than I could handle. Much respect to those who can! My 18 year old cat is fixing to pass, and I still feel it wasn't enough time together. 😢
@@ShadowGod715 rip to your cat, they're on the rainbow 🌈 bridge now. My black cat Karen passed away last year. She had a growth in her mouth, couldn't eat drink or clean herself.. Yes, I had pet rats when I was much younger, they’re very sweet and extremely intelligent! What a WONDERFUL and loving rat dad! Best father and caregiver ever! You are so blessed to have one another!
We purchased 2 rats for our pre- schooler as a 1st pet... they were wonderful! Easy to care for, they tolerated being handled without ever biting- and they were very clean:) ours lived about 5 years before they got cancer:/ Thankyou for the video- they look happy and healthy!
I had rats when I was in middle school--spock and data. They were brothers and I got them from a breeder as babies. They lived about three years, but they had some pretty chronic respiratory issues for a good portion of their lives. They were extremely friendly little guys. Only downside to rats is how short their lifespans are imo
I had a pet rat that I got when he was a itty-bitty baby and he grew to be very large. He was highly intelligent and learned many tricks. I used to carry him on my shoulder everywhere. When he passed I was heartbroken. I was in middle school. I’ve never gotten over it. 💔🐀💞
I rescued at least 2 dozen rats and kept them all over the years. The hardest part is having to say goodbye after such a short life, especially if you are holding them as they expire. Rodents have always been feared and totally underestimated. They have a HUGE capacity for love, and can be trained to do complex tasks. When they boggle, you melt. Their little rat feet with pink pads are almost the cutest, but that honor goes to river otter hands. Thanks and keep it up! :)
@@stevedriscoll2539 Thanks. It was so rugged watching, holding and trying to comfort them in those final long minutes. But then, time passes and the good pushes out the bad (much of it anyway) and we remember the love. :)
@@stevedriscoll2539 It is bittersweet often. You love these creatures, but then have to suck it up and hold them close as they start the process which can include seizures. But sometimes they go peacefully too... Silver linings. :)
My Lucy and Ethel lived 2010-2014 and I’d like to think I gave them an amazing life, they even went outside with me every day it wasn’t raining or snowing, course we’d go in after any sight of hawks or eagles lol. Ethel got cancer at age 3 and a half and died shortly after. Gave Lucy to a friend who had 3 one year old rats and surprisingly they got along well and she was able to live her last year with new friends and not alone. Lucy was without Ethel 5 days before that and it was heart breaking. She didn’t even want to eat her favourite foods. Rats are amazing creatures and although it hurts seeing them pass after 3-5 years they will give you the most love and affection than any other animal.
It was nice of you to take her to a place where she could have some friends for companionship. People really underestimate companionship when it comes to animals.
You answered a question I was going to ask. I wondered if the playing outside was doable. Or would the rat be tempted to run off and perhaps not come back? Your rat didn't run away. ❤️
Rats are extremely smart for a rodent. Our rats knew there names and even could do a few little tricks. My daughter would take hers everywhere. To the store to the park what ever. She could sit her down on the ground and she would follow my daughter everywhere she went. So sweet. I want another watching this lol
I was a rat mom to a mischief of 11 at one time. Absolutely adore rats and will have them again soon. We let them eat right off our plates, snuggled with them on the couch and let them free roam for long periods of time. My son always had one in his hoodie just chillin’ riding around the condo.
I remember the first time I got a rat, I woke up to seven of them, lol - I had no idea she was pregnant. So adorable and affectionate, each with their own distinct personality, and you bond with them really fast. Heartbreaking when they die ☹😢😢
The same thing happened to me with a hamster. She gave birth to 12 pups, and every single one survived. (Luckily we were able to find homes for all of them with various neighborhood kids.)
Rats are the best pets! I had dozens growing up. They all had their own personalities of course. They look like tiny puppies when they're babies too. They're so adorable, affectionate, clean and trainable! I only wish they lived longer and weren't so misunderstood.

Rats come with one really big drawback that always keeps me from getting my son any. I wish they had longer lifespans, they are such loveable and adorable creatures, but that heartache... Nope. I can't.
So sweet😍 A friend of mine had a pet rat, she let him run around regularly. He found me right away, ran up my arm and sat in my neck under my hair, nice and warm💕
I am a BIG FAN of RATS! Rats are the cutest little animals! The eyes, they steal your heart, the tail, it is looking like a squirrel's tail, but without fur. The face, it steals your love.

OMG, same way I feel about my rats. Over a decade now of falling in love then being heartbroken. Yet somehow they remain my pet of choice. Thank you for sharing this, it really brightened my morning to see another rat owner who is knowledgeable about them, pays them attention instead of thinking of them as cage animals and someone who is giving six ratties a very lucky, happy life that sadly not enough rats get to experience. I just lost my last female right before Xmas a few months back & her brother, her partner & bff April of that year. This last batch has hit me intensely & I'm still trying to recover. They were free roaming with a few home base cages around the place (entire place rat-proofed for their safety of course). Such personalities & energy & love & excitement, bonding,... When her brother passed she wheeked in sadness for an entire day and night non stop. She would not eat that he loved & they would try & steal from each other, & she began snuggling with us during the nightime, just laying on our feet, curling up to your legs, back, neck, etc. I am so devastated. They are the closest thing to children I have/will ever have as I cannot bear children & I've never desired chdren so no adoption either. When I don't understand something I am seeing between parents & chronic, I just imagine if those circumstances were occurring between my pets & I, & then I can finally feel & understand the reactions. (Growing up with animals as my companions & safe place.) So for me it's difficult to imagine real children being ny children, but my pets are like how parents treat their chdren, and if it was bizarro world & I had kids, I would likely feel about them the way s I me ppl feel about their pets--the pet owners who care about their pets buy would not go into debt to cover medical expenses for them. But speaking of medical expenses, I have best wishes for you when six rats all get to that stage where medical attention begins or becomes more frequent & urgent. The downside with rats is that the majority of the medical expenses all hit one after another with little time in between to recover before another $300, two weeks later $450 or some overnight hospital stays with a fee per hour slamming you with almost two grand and you know in days weeks or even just a couple months the bills will pile up. Then multiply that by 6 that by 6 with them all requiring Che kips/treatment around the same time. I did that once before when I naively did not expect health bills to all come at once I stead of spread out like some other pets. Twos or fours only now. Ha ha. I hope everything goes as well and smoothly as possible for you and your rattie bear children. They look so happy and healthy and well taken care of. Facking adorable too. I am seriously so happy for you and your guys. Such an amazing experience and love shared that you all get to have in life. : ) Posting your Lil guys has allowed me to experience a touching morning & you are owed a huge "Thank You!" for spreading good vibes, smiles, elated moods and education available for to everyone. I really appreciate that for me but also for the others who view you clip and experience something positive from it, be it emotionally, educationally, etc. Thanks again. : ) Oh, PS, I didn't proofread but awake far too long and now my keypad is blurry and I haven't removed my contacts yet haha. So apologies for any errors, lack of clarity, cohesion or just rambles. But my needs to apogee for any if the times where it has completely reworded my sentanve(s) completely changing the meaning or to having no meaning. K, thanks, by! : )
They're so cute. Always wanted one, but their lifespan is what keeps me from going any further than want. I'd be so heartbroken only having 2-3 years with one.
I've had two rats who lived to 5 years. I've heard that it's mostly rats from bad breeders that only live 2-3 years. Mine was from a regurlar pet store
@@TheJackpoth it has to do with their breeding and genes, but also absolutely has to do with the level of care they receive ❤️ I’m sure it helped that they had good genes, but they lived that long because you cared for them so well!
My housemate who moved to another country left me with 2 rats, one was missing the front paw, don't know why, my friend just brought her like this, but it didn't stop her from climbing my hand when I've put it in the cage, they were great, resting on my shoulder when I was home, sleeping on my lap or when I went outside with them, they never went so far, that I would have lost visual contact with them, just lovely animals, very clever, my family used to have hamsters, they both died because of their stupidity, one got stuck behind furniture, the other one fell from balcony, rats are more cautious, more friendly, you actually have a relationship with them based on trust and love 🐀💖🐀
I was one thought away from adopting a rat a few years ago but then a friend told me they only live about two years. I had no idea. I still haven't adopted a rat but my neighbor's cat only lived 9 months when he was hit by a car so who knows how our hearts will be broken?
I had two little fellas, Richter and Twitch. They would stop for nothing, and owned everything they could see. They're a few years gone now, but my memories of those clever little psychos are some of my most cherished.
My rat was completely uncaged. He lived in a 3 room Barbie house that I removed the windows from and could come and go as he pleased. BUT, he did get into my clothing drawers and cupboards and made HUGE nests by shredding clothes. 🤣. My mum almost killed me a few times... They can be destructive, so just be aware of that. And if you decide to keep it more contained, then please have a huge custom-made home for it. They are super intelligent and are very aware of being caged. They become depressed like humans do. In fact, rats are used for all sorts of nasty experiments to gain an understanding of human behaviour and drug effects. That is how similar they are to us! In many ways, they are closer to us in emotions and behaviour than cats and dogs. People don't realise it simply because they cannot talk like we do. But if you get it from a baby, you will quickly learn to understand it, and they are such affectionate mammals! Once my old cats have finally left for heaven, I will definitely get a rat again!

Rats are the best pets, really. They're pocket puppies and indeed a mix of the best bits of both cats and dogs in personality. The only sad part of having rats is their short lifespan but even that comes with the silver lining that if you dedicate yourself to rats you get to know SO MANY wonderful ratty personalities over the years. Many families opt for hamsters as kids' pets but hamsters don't have the same innate social need to love and be loved as rats have because most hamsters are solitary animals as adults, unlike rats that are colony animals and thus primed for forming tight bonds and relationships with other rats, and with humans. With birds you may need to only have one bird if you want to form a real bond with the animal, but with rats it doesn't matter how many you have, they will still seek you out to socialise with you and the more rats there's in the house actually means the braver and more human-seeking the rats become!
To this day I still have no idea why when people see mice or rats they go "ewww gross!" . They are so highly intelligent! Especially rats, they are smart puzzle solvers, cuddly, affectionate and adorable. They are also very clean creatures, I've always loved rats and mice.
correction: rats are vectors for a number of diseases. Ever wondered why having rats at a restaurant or any public establishment really is a health code violation?
@@toonsnooper Humans are vectors for diseases as well. We carry diseases from humans to plants (i.e. Tobacco mosaic virus) but considering our international travel, humans are now becoming the most effective vectors for disease.
@@livea3596 I've noticed that internet empaths tend to miss the point intentionally even when it's very obvious. let's say you're eating at a restaurant and you see rats crawling on the wall, you're telling me you'll say to yourself, "wow what a clean establishment." there's a diff btwn keeping a mouse as a pet and saying rats are clean.
My sis and I have kept many rats. They're sociable, affectionate, intelligent and very trainable. We call them "pocket dogs". They can do everything a dog can do.
@@tompa3537 So, do you mean to say that because YOU"VE never heard of it, that means it must not exist? As a matter of fact, rats have been used for explosives detection, contraband detection, and service animals. The reason they are not used for certain jobs that dogs do is because of the limitations of human beings, nothing to do with the rats. Humans are so large that doing guide, or other human assistance work as dogs do, would physically endanger the rats, not because they're intellectually incapable.
@@tompa3537 BTW, rats have also been used to carry cameras to inspect the interiors of pipes in sewers and homes. Even if they have never been in the location before, they can find their way out. Something a dog cannot be trained to do.

They perceive dominance with excitement, even if they get beaten up in the process (of course this is an extreme example, but its only the extreme end of a real phenomena). Most men are decent people, but society forces them to act super extrovert and aggressive (or sneaky and creepy) to get a girlfriend. I've had 2 male rats myself and the smallest one always use to stick his whole little head inside my mouth, to check for leftovers after i had my dinner 😁 He used to place his hand on my bottom lip to make me open my mouth and began the inspection! The first time i was a little hesitant and amazed at the level of trust. Loved that evening ritual 😆
My dad had a rat when he was growing up called "Frankie". I had rats when I was growing up. They are great pets, but don't get both sexes as they breed fast.
This is awesome. I used to always go to a friend's house because they were my friend of course, but also because they had rats that were so adorable and loveable.
Aww 😢This made me think of my feeder rat Stinky!! She was just shy of 5 years when she passed; the vet was STUNNED! I, only ever owning one rat.. thought this was normal!!
Rats are a totally under appreciated animal. They are smart, clean, and adorable.
I've also noticed they love human attention over anything else. I feel like we were suppose to have rats around. They love humans.
The only thing that is sad, there have a Liveband from only 2 years.

I noticed that, too, when he moved his little paw onto his hand! I hit the back arrow a couple of times to re-watch. That little paw made the cuteness reach infinity.🐭

@alienina they were great little boys. I miss them still. Rats are amazing. 🤗❤️
Thats so cute
I'm not much of a rat-person and I prefer cats or dogs as fur babies, but this man's relationship with his rats is freaking adorable.
I always thought that rats were cute, but until I met some, I had no idea how sweet and cuddly they were. 🐁✌🏼💖
My heart just cries thinking of how they're treated in testing labs. They all have so much personality.
Same here. I wish all rats would be in loving homes instead of those wicked labs.
Humans are so mean and wasteful. 😞 lab tests should be done on pedos

Some of the HAPPIEST moments of my life have been with my pet rats. So hard to lose them after so short of time.......Heartbreaking!!!
I've had to take a break from these little angels because of this. I now have a hamster because the empty cage was making me so sad. Don't get me wrong, banjo is so much sweeter and well behaved than I thought a hamster could be, but rats just show SO much love.
The heartbreak indeed
They're just one of the better options sadly and that's how it is for many other animals before it comes to human trials and these days its a lot better than it used to be but it's one of the best ways to learn educate understand and make sure of depending on the tests.
If all of us understand the importance of every animal life like this young man, the world definitely would be a better place.
Rats are the best companions. We miss our babies so much.
They will steal your heart. I wouldn’t trade my 3 years for anything but the loss when it arrives is profound.

I had 2 Rats, 1 in 2009 and one in 2011.
They both lived for 2 years. I still miss them. So little life and so much of sadness after they depart.

I had a one lived for 4 years, great company it was a Berkshire rat.called chocolate chip.
Don’t know what’s sweeter. This guy, or the rats. Genuinely now interested in getting some as pets. They’re adorable. ❤️❤️🥰❤️❤️
@@nikkid4890 Ah this is so sweet honestly! They are lovely aren’t they? Ideally, I’d probably like to not cage them as much as possible; I can totally believe how intelligent they are and that they get depressed. We’re very lucky to be blessed with these animals to care for. This has opened up a new world to me! 😁🥰
@Fernanda Partridge You sound like such a beautiful, gentle, and compassionate person. Exactly what any animal would be blessed to have as their guardian! IF you ever do get a rat, please come back here and tell us all about it
@@nikkid4890 Oh bless you! Likewise! I LOVE animals! I always have loved them, ever since I was tiny. In an ideal world, I’d spend my entire life caring for them and looking after them, we are so blessed to share our world with them… they’re a gift. I love people who get this as much as I do. We can learn a lot from animals, all of it good. ❤️
Thank u for being such a beautiful human. ❤
You make them so cute and lovable. Trying to warm up to rats as pets. Thank you for sharing them with us🐀😍
No, they ARE cute and lovable! :o)
Rats are actually very loving creatures, it is quite surprising but the movies have done rats dirty. The main sad thing is there life span
To this day I still have no idea why when people see mice or rats they go "ewww gross!" . They are so highly intelligent! Especially rats, they are smart puzzle solvers, cuddly, affectionate and adorable. They are also very clean creatures, I've always loved rats and mice.
They are just little people.
correction: rats are vectors for a number of diseases.
@@toonsnooper You are speaking out of context. The point being made here is that domesticated rats, such as these, are not vectors for disease.
My sis and I have kept many rats. They're sociable, affectionate, intelligent and very trainable. We call them "pocket dogs". They can do everything a dog can do.
I've never heard of guide rats, diabetes service rats, or detection rats. But maybe you just mean spinning around and being cute.
You're such a great rat dad, god bless you man!
We have 5 and we love them!!!!
I've loved all of my rats SO much... it's an absolute blessing to have them as companions!
I'm on a break right now, as it's incredibly hard to lose them.
One day I'll love some ratties again!
I love it! Rats are very affectionate. Thank you for sharing your story. Hopefully people will have a better understanding how special rats really are ❤
man, his rats are amazing, i had no clue they are such great pets
My friend and her brothers had rats as pets. But they grew to be big like a small chihuahua. They loved their rats and compared them to being like dogs. She said they were very loving, playful and loyal.
Lovely man…
Sweet animals…
It’s adorable to see so much love!♥️🇮🇹🇬🇧
Now that is the kind of son I would love to have.
Kind compassionate and loving

Would you marry him though. Women seem to despise kindness in men
@@jamesbyrne9312 Youre generalising. Women who despise kindness are psychopaths. Would you marry someone like that.
I would marry the following guys right away:
Check them on youtube:
Earthling Ed
Gary Yourofsky
Joey Carbstrong
Happy Healthy Vegan
Dr. Neal Barnard
Dr. Michael Greger
@@elsjemassyn8921 Generalizations are there for a reason, because they are generally true. Glad your a decent person, but most women are not. Most women don't even know how to be decent. The genes make them prefer dominant aggressive men, despite all the problems that come with it. They perceive dominance with excitement, even if they get beaten up in the process (of course this is an extreme example, but its only the extreme end of a real phenomena). Most men are decent people, but society forces them to act super extrovert and aggressive (or sneaky and creepy) to get a girlfriend. Women see men who are balanced as boring, yet they are the real men, they are the men like me who would provide, be emotionally mature, (yet still fun in bed). I just think most women cant see in gradient, its all black and white, either your hot to them or not, they cant be bothered to get to know you. And in the meantime the creeps bed them. Ive seen it happen. So, yeah women, keep choosing scum, its what you want, and maybe, going off your behaviour, its what you deserve.
@@jamesbyrne9312 Well James youre one of the few good ones. The kind I wish for my daughters and girlfriends.
Stay as you are. The world needs guys like you
@elsjemassyn8921 Thanks, still single at 37 though so I don't need it for sure. I am not a nice guy either. I am just as dark as the rest. Just don't go around with my balls on display.
Such sweethearts!
I had 4 rats in the past I love them so much, they were great companions. They all died so quickly. They were like my kids but I will never get another rat, it's too painful loosing them
It never gets easier. That is something you'll never get used to, especially since every rat is so unique. I thought many times that I can't take another heartbreak, but then another rescue came along and I couldn't say no.
Just think, you are their whole life of love and safety, yes, it breaks your heart, but they lived in love and joy, a happy life, could you wish for more? No, so, getting more gives more love & joy. My last boy from before knew when he was dying I was trying to save him, he put his paw up & said to me let me go, I did. Happily I have 9 more in his honour, and there is much love. Love is never wasted, it comes back in multiples of more.
I had 3 little girls, Dumbo rats. They were my babies. Rats are super intelligent and very affectionate. I love rats🥰😍
Rats are so sweet. I wish they had a longer lifespan.
OMG memories of our rats. Rats are very smart, lovable and so cuddly. They make wonderful pets. I miss those noses in my ears and the love nibbles.
Awwww you're like the perfect rat daddy!!! I've had pet rats for many years and rescued unwanted rats for about 8 years. Everything you do with your babies is what I do except the twirling. Mine are potty trained and come when I call. And yes they do eat better than us don't they? They are such awesome pets. My one little girl even licks tears from my daughters eyes when she cries. They pick up on our human emotions as well. Just loved watching this. Thank you for sharing 🐀🐁🐀
That part got to me when you said one of them licks the tears from your daughter's eyes when she cries. My "Beans" used to do that (i lost him three weeks ago today.he got hit by a car). RIP my baby
@@stevedriscoll2539 I'm so sorry for your loss. It is no less devastating when we lose a beloved fur baby. May Beans rest in peace 🌈
@@nikkijooste-strombeck5045 thanks Nikki. I will think about him every day for the rest of my life. And, I thank God that I had him for 10 years (lots of ups and lots of downs but he remained loving and loyal through it all)
@@stevedriscoll2539 Steve I'm sure you will always remember him. Our fur babies are such a blessing and can teach us so much. Take care.
So CUTE! The rats are adorable too.
They are so cute. I had a white rat once. She rode in the car with me and drank cooldrink from a straw. In the evenings she slept on my knee while I watched tv and after a while she ran down the corridor where she slept in my drawer. My brother had one when he was still in school. He carried it around in his blazer pocket. It was very quite and well behaved.
Wonderful stories, thank you!
@@stevedriscoll2539 👍
More people like him are needed in this harsh world 😍 He's absolutely spot on, the way he describes his rats like a mix of cat & dog, I bet...and I haven't had the privilege of knowing a rat but I can see from the video & just imagine 🥰
I think his rats are super sweet 🥰
They are very loving and so intelligent .. I wish they had longer lifespans .. This guy is great ! 💞💞💞💞
It’s these kinds of videos and stories that really remind me that there’s still love, goodness and beauty out in this world
My heart! So precious animals, and so misunderstood!
Lovely clip!
Aw!Thanks for giving these little rats such a beautiful life. They are wonderful creatures.
“Pocket puppies” 🥺 thats literally perfect
What a beautiful man you are to love and care for these precious rats. Wish all animals were this well cared for.
Makes me miss my rats. I've had so many in my life. They are so fun and loving
So cute. Love rats.
