Thats a nice piece of art there
I'm glad I fast forwarded through this. What a waste of time
Those back wheels are crazy.
Very nice I would change fat tire to taller ones thou
Same harmonic balance on most small block Chevys 327 350 little different on the 305 and 307 if I had to guess I'd say it's a 383 stroker
A guy named Scott Sullivan kind of started the " pro street" thing back in the 80s with a 66 or 67 nova.
Been done guys . Nothing to see here.
Probably the same car. Just resold a dozen times in the last 40 years. Then everybody claims it as their own work.
Really nice, but not enough cage for a real race car.
Blackberry?
I think it's Black Cherry.
@@tuck6464 Yep, that's it.🙂👍
So you worked on it and apparently it won't run. Or did the owner not leave you a key
Disappointed you never started it.
Yeah, I was disappointed also. I wanted to make a video driving it.
I wouldn't call it pro street. True Pro Street was an 80s street driven version of the door slammer Pro Stock race car of the late 70s and 80s. It had fat tires, aluminum interior, no radio, huge cubes and carb induction. The big blowers came later and added a wow factor to the car. This thing is a donk show car. It's pretty to look at, the bodywork isn't what you would expect from a magazine quality car. I'm sure some guy with a wad of cash had it built hearing the term Pro Street and seeing a few at a car show but whoever built it, didn't know the history and just gave him a pretty car an took his money.
So, is this just another rich guy that buys muscle cars video ? It's just just as bad as lawyers buying Harleys acting like their badasses lately.
...or claiming HA because they wrote a check for initiation.
Boring as hell
Why call your ‘67 a Nova ,when the car you’re showing is a Chevy2? The term Nova refers to a trim package and was exactly that until 1969.That’s when the Chevy2 name was dropped in favour of the name Nova. You don’t misname a Mustang for a Cougar, or maybe you do. It’s like a spelling mistake for all to see. Embarrassing
I know its a Chevy II with the Nova trim level. I called it a Nova because that's what most people refer it to.
So what dude , it's commonplace even at Mecum and BJ to call the 66-67's Nova's. 68' is technically a Chevy II , but NO ONE calls them that especially with the total body change. However, and maybe he's not real comfortable in front of the camera, but he does at times to not know what he's talking about. I was a bit shocked that and I can't tell inside the shop for sure, but although paint looks a little dark to be Royal Plum Poly, a one year 67 color, If paints really cut n buffed good , that color looks black at night and super dark plum indoors. He seemed to not have a clue that it was darn close to the factory color I'd like to see it outside. That i can atest to, since i learned to drive in my dad's Royal Plum 67 L79/ M-21 El Camino ( 1 of 2 Plum Elco's in the L79 registry.) He also had at same time a Tahoe Turqouise 67 L79/M-21 Malibu hindsight right lol) Elco Been restored and sold a couple times at BJ and once at Mecum. Friend of his bought Malibu in early 90's restored it and has put like 5,000 miles on it since resto in 92-93 ish.
I like you guys. I will sub and support.
Thanks
