Exactly though the W-2135 (which is less powerful in theory than the 2650) he has in the video is stuck at 40-60% the whole time. I wouldn't really suggest putting in a high end GPU in these Lenovos because they WILL bottleneck and even though you get 60-80 FPS from the GPU carrying it will stutter sometimes which can be distracting plus the 4060 in this is being held back hard even if it has a lousy 8 GB VRAM.

Not to mention the 900 W 2017 PSU is getting more old each day and will just not turn on soon.
My W-2145 drives my 3070Ti no problem. I would HIGHLY doubt that his 2135 would bottleneck a 4060. These CPUs are quite powerful still. Even the 6 core w-2135 is only about 30% slower than a 13900k in most games. You need a really fast GPU to notice the difference or be running very low settings at 1080p
@@Spencerwalker21 You will have to look that one up. I haven't used a GPU with 3 8 pins before. I am using a 3070ti. My 2145 xeon isn't bottlenecking my 3070ti but might bottleneck your 4080 at 1080p. That probably won't matter much since you don't buy a 4080 to play games at 1080p anyway. My 3070ti pushes my CPU to about 60% usage maximum. Usually it's hovering around 30% though. I game at 1080p which taxes the CPU most for reference.

Compared to my other system which is en i7-12700 I can tell you that there is almost no difference between pcie3 and a pcie4 system. The only downside is that the P710 is one power hungry system. Even a 4060ti is ok in those configs. The gpu is just not bottlenecked. stay away from a 4090 though, there you need a more recent system. the 4090 will go to about 80 percent.
Wow very nice! I’ll have to check out the P710
Does the 520 support a rtx 4080 I got a w-2145 if that helps.
but how noisy is it?
Not noisy at all! I don’t hear a thing when I’m using it
Not gonna lie, the performance is worse than x99. Not sure what is Intel doing.
legit question is this worth for 450 euro in 2024
Yes definitely you can play any game with this build at 1080p and most at 1440p. You could save even more on the gpu if you went with something like the RTX 3060 12gb
So I keep hearing this computer won't work with any AMD GPUs, anyone get this and try it?
I want to test out a 6700 XT next, which I will probably also do a video on if I can get my hands on one for a decent price.
@@PetesParts16 thank you! I think this PC would make a great pairing with that GPU! The AMD driver overhead being so much more optimized in most games leads me to believe that the slightly dated architecture of the CPU in this PC would get so big benefits. Just a theory. I also just have ALOT of AMD GPUs laying around 😅 so if I could use one in this rig that'd be awesome
I put a 6700xt in my one for my son's b-day present, and it works great! And it was so nice working inside this machine - everything is so well made and there's fancy clamps to hold unused wires. Like flying fist class, but on an old plane :)
@@hankwolfe thank you! That's just what I wanted to hear. Great pairing as well btw!
@@hankwolfe I'm super glad to hear that, since that's what I hope to put in the one I'm about to order.
Personally I don't really like pre-builts mostly because they lock the bios and it's not very future proof at all. Especially Xeon processors since they will have bottleneck, seeing your benchmarks just proves that it will bottleneck the heck out of the 4060.
@@gametime2473I just bought a 2145 Lenovo workstation would a 4080 work it needs 3x8 pin.
@@Spencerwalker21 No idea. I don't have that computer.
@@gametime2473 oh sorry I'll give a couple more details it has a 900 watt PSU with dual 6 plus 2 pin connectors. And would the xeon bottleneck a 4080
@@Spencerwalker21 You will have to look that one up.
4060 is not a budget and not beast, rather go with used 6800xt for same price if the whole other is second hand...
I have definitely contemplated going AMD, probably a 6700xt though. Would be interesting to compare it with the 4060
Good
Thanks
I thought you were Justin Trudeau for a second.. Sorry
Nope that’s not me 😂

Dude can't even figure out the lock bar for the card...
I know right what’s wrong with him
First 30 seconds was just extreme cringe. Please don't ever do edits like that again, zoomertubers are the most obnoxious thing on the planet.
Appreciate the feedback 👍
Why you got be so peaky about, let the man do his videos...
Computers have too many downfalls specially, with consul games like they’re certain games that aren’t even available on the PC that you can only get on console. Sorry I’m not gonna give up that for a piece of crap budget PC or any PC.
All good my friend! Thank you for watching
