I've seen Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in 2016-2017 and I can tell you Uriah Heep are in way better form and perform much more on stage, it's a shame they don't get the recognition they deserve.
There are awesome bands out there, but good music is not valued as it was back then. Some heroes just drawn in this massiv sea of available music and dont get the attention they should. Instead, cheap music is pushed for any reason.
50 years later and I still love Uriah Heep!! Dave, Lee, Ken & Mick were so memorable! These guys are great also! Love that I’m 70 and still appreciate the old and new rock , metal, symphonic metal et al.
Any critic with negative comments about this group doesn't know rock or metal or really any thing else In 65 years of good and bad music of all genre this band is still one of the best worldwide
For me Black Sabbath, King Crimson and Uriah Heep were always superior to the overrated Zeppelin and Purple. Black Sabbath invented a sound that did not exist, King Crimson separated the atom giving way to a new melodic universe and Uriah Heep invented a new concept that nurtured what was done by the other two to perfect and evolve as he did later.

As most Uriah Heep fans my favourite period was 1970-1974. David Byron was an unequalled singer - maybe still unequalled today - and Ken Hensley an exceptionally gifted musician (multi-instrumentist) and songwriter and Gary Thain was one of the 1970s top bassist. However when the current lineup gives a gig I must say that they make honour to all prevous periods and vocalists including John Goalby this time. Hats off!

i remember me when i was a child i was around 11 or 12 i had a casette player and demon and wizard was 1 of 3 casettes ibought in a muic shop in augsburg bavaria,,i still love this music of my youth till today,.now i`m60.!
One of the most brilliant rock bands ever! After all these years, they are still absolutely brilliant! Bernie´s voice and energy is amazing and so is Mick Box and the rest of the band! Love them!

Not all the old musicians from the 70ies are still in such good shape and mood. I really listened to their albums in the 70ies. July Morning was a truly outstanding vocal performance... He was over 70 then.
I never got into this band i can't believe what iam missing, i was a purple , zeppelin, status quo, Jeff beck, Santana heavily influenced bye my older brother, these guys are fabulous hard rock WOW, that Hammond just as good as jon Lord rip , what amazing voice.
I'm with you and I too followed the above mentioned, but Uriah Heap not so much. At first I thought is that Ian Gillan now!!! very similar voice. Love the rock organ - Jon Lord the greatest rock keyboardist of all time. Also, RIP Jon Lord.

Uriah Heep. Truly one of the few mega great bands of all time. I have all their music and I never get tired of hearing them play or perform live. As the time has passed, they have only become better.

I worked in a record store years ago and we had a regular deaf customer. He was into dance music and was apparently a pretty good dancer. He could feel the vibrations and would dance based on that, combined with watching everybody around him.

From time to time I see people commenting that one band or another is inferior - often just a cover band - because one or more original members are missing. I find that disrespectful to the people who are in the band, remaining original members and newer ones alike, that keeps bringing music to the masses. Also, to you who focus so hard on original members, please keep in mind that Rob Halford wasn’t the original singer of Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson wasn’t the original singer of Iron Maiden and Neil Peart wasn’t the original drummer of Rush.
Of course they dont have the same raw energy than in the 70s. But the music they deliver is still powerful . Good music never fade. Thanks for sharing.

Unbelievable how accurate and full of passion they play the old songs! And some new ones (for me at least) as well. Looking at Mick Box who is having an hour + of pure happiness and joy. Grand! Last Heep album i followed was "Return to Fantasy" so this concert is a bliss. So great to be able to watch it on you tube.
Love seeing this. Uriah Heep is my favorite band. I have always felt a strong connection to their music. I'm in Upstate NY and sometimes I feel like I am the only Uriah Heep fan in the left in NY.

I totally agree. When they play Uriah Heep songs on German radio, they play "Lady In Black" or "Free Me" ... nothing else. It's crazy and pathetic. So, I DON'T UNDERRATE URIAH HEEP !!! :-)

I cannot believe with deep purple for years and years being my favourite band of all time that it took me until lockdown to fully appreciate these guys they ate bloody FANTASTIC that heavy guitar and Hammond sound ach it's just heaven to.my ears Over last few months become a real fan and jjst bought tickets for them in Glasgow this year
my first concert was Manfred Mann, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Urian Heep.. all 3 bands doing album tours. 3.75 a ticket at the santa clara county fairgrounds back in late 74ish

Great concert with sign language interpreter on stage. Now Music is for everyone. even for the deaf. You don't need to hear but You can Feel the music

Pretty cool to see a sign language interpreter to the side of the stage. The deaf cannot hear the band but if it’s loud enough the can feel it

From time to time I see people commenting that one band or another is inferior - often just a cover band - because one or more original members are missing. I find that disrespectful to the people who are in the band, remaining original members and newer ones alike, that keeps bringing music to the masses. Also, to you who focus so hard on original members, please keep in mind that Rob Halford wasn’t the original singer of Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson wasn’t the original singer of Iron Maiden and Neil Peart wasn’t the original drummer of Rush.

HEEP IS SUPERB ROCK BAND ! TOP NOTCH . SADLY VERY UNDERRATED.
This band is excellent, and today they are almost 70 year old men doing shows as if they were 20 years old, amazing!
Mic so underrated, great job guys Rip ,Lee , David , Ken....
Of course they dont have the same raw energy than in the 70s. But the music they deliver is still powerful . Good music never fade. Thanks for sharing.
Мне любовь к Uriah Heep передалась видимо генетически от отца.Был на них 3 раза:2006-Запорожье,2017 Днепр и 2020 Киев.Эти парни(или деды?) обладают замечательным талантом-дарить людям радость,и делают это уже 50 лет!По всему миру их слушают.
Они несут в этот мир добро и радость,улыбки -то,что все эти зомбоящики и всякие политики пытаются вытравить из нас.

Last Heep album i followed was "Return to Fantasy" so this concert is a bliss. So great to be able to watch it on you tube.
In my opinion "Return to Fantasy" was the last great UH album.

Very late comer to the Heap. So glad I remembered to find them.
I got to see them in '19 and even went backstage to interview Phil Lanzon. I even met Mick Box and he signed 2 of my Heep 8-tracks💥🤘

Вокалиста что-то разнесло, как бы не диабет у него,столько лет в группе и голос хороший,правда, это уже не Uriah Heep, совсем другая группа, хотя и на уровне!

Been a Heep fan since 1974 at least, I remember when Demons & Wizards came out, I bought it on cassette. Great to see they're still Rockin' it..

I totally agree. When they play Uriah Heep songs on German radio, they play "Lady In Black" or "Free Me" ... nothing else.

Absolutely one of the greatest rock bands ever!They are so unique!When I was young I would listen to them in a quiet place and they would take me to another world!Their stories with in their songs came alive!Great stuff!
Over 50 Years Uriah Heep is always there. Even Uriah Heep's songs are heavy metal like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin whose songs were early heavy metal bands

Динозавры отрулили , выдали Fallen Angel 1978 года и превратились в название UH. Лично я когда хочу послушать настоящий UH , то слушаю сольные альбомы Кена Хенсли и погружаюсь в волшебство от UH.

I cannot believe with deep purple for years and years being my favourite band of all time that it took me until lockdown to fully appreciate these guys they ate bloody FANTASTIC that heavy guitar and Hammond sound ach it's just heaven to.my ears
Over last few months become a real fan and jjst bought tickets for them in Glasgow this year
my last show before COVID era was UH concert in Ostrava 02.2020 it was fantastic
my first concert was Manfred Mann, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Urian Heep.. all 3 bands doing album tours. 3.75 a ticket at the santa clara county fairgrounds back in late 74ish

I met my love of my life in July.We aren't together any longer,but July Morning ist still my hit number 1 of Uriah Heep.
These guys never let up. Still making great new music as well. Fantastic band. Hope to see them post covid.
Still have the ticket for a cancelled Russian Tour show. Anyway it is rescheduled and I hope I will see them playing live at last this April=)

originally Uriah Heep were booked in the tent for 45 minutes. The Wacken-Management did have a good hand to change this booking. At this weekend Uriah Heep were the only unique group for a message via the Wacken-App that the ‚infield is rather full‘. \../ PetziAZ
