He actually recorded a song with them, when they were still called "Tin Hat Trio". It's called "Helium Reprise", from the album "Helium", well worth checking out! :)
This era Tin Hat actually has Ara Anderson on trumpet, keyboards, etc. along with special guest Percussionist Mathias Bossi (Carla's significant other) . Rob Reich hadn't came along yet.
And another of my videos and work I didn’t get any credit for, after doing it for free and even paying for my own tickets to get into the show Not even a single thanks or tiny bit of credit Nice
So nice to come across any live recordings of this incredible configuration of musicians and talent
So good. Like an old creaky house. I love Tin Hat and I hope they'll make another album soon.
Gotta love the, the...
Er, the Thingamaphone!
Wonderful, this is my fav from Tin Hat, but I miss the Piano.
I love unusual combinations of instruments. I hate it when cameramen know nothing about jazz and never have the camera on the soloist.
Fantastic ensemble! Even as they go far afield with the strident horn, or dismantling the meter midway into the song, they pull it off so smooth!
Love these guys-Beauty in the simplicity of a fertile imagination-powerful stuff.
This is fucking amazing. Must be really hard play this on a live. Here in Argentina we have a band called Puente Celeste that seems to Tin Hat Trio.

This is something between Tom Waits and Аукцыон. Great.

Nice
It's a lousy video! I think you need to learn something about jazz. You don't even know how to focus on the soloist!
Very pleasant, but there's no there there?
Some Tom Waits vocals would compliment this nicely.
