Can you explain why it was necessary to replace the latch? What exactly was wrong with it? Thanks
What happens if its not the latch. My machine fills with water but just clicks after that. I know it does the water, soap dispenser does open but no washing cycle. It is a maytag dishwasher about 3 years old and I have tried to reset it many times but still getting a F6 E1 error code

my dishwasher is broke, it is cycling thru the entire process in about ten seconds and will not let me reset it it just keeps going and going till it gets to the dry then just beeps any suggestions as I have been searching and watching tons of vid but not one talks about this issues thanks

Something is wrong with mine. The lights are all dim now. It refuses to stop obnoxiously BEEPING, and none of the controls work, so the option of disabling the sounds fantastically does nothing. I want to murder this goddamned thing.

It’s made by whirlpool that’s what’s wrong, went thru 2 Maytags last only 1 or 2 years and the control board goes out, got a ge brand now and love it
